Matondo off to Brann. Cheers agent aphe ππ he's absolutely rotten.

28 Mar 2026 22:01:04
Good luck to the wee man. We have made him rich and in return he scored a peach v Celtic and not much else. One thing's for sure, the medical folk will miss him.
28 Mar 2026 22:05:57
Can only thank Brann for that, Paul, sell on, and few months of his big wage.
28 Mar 2026 22:14:11
Ridiculous wage to be getting one of our top earners. Does he not earn like almost double Raskin? Glad to get rid of him now. Cost us a lot of money.
28 Mar 2026 22:16:30
Aphelion, what's your thoughts on this? I know it's a player you weren't keen on. Too many games missed through injury.
Hopefully he puts them behind him and goes on and has a good career. Wish him all the best.
28 Mar 2026 22:34:08
Report says a large sell on. He's only going on a year's contract so we won't be seeing anything from that. π Good to get 3 months off his wages tho. Hope he can get fit and play. Popular guy, apparently, but just can't get playing, sadly.
29 Mar 2026 07:07:56
My star, he is a player I always had high hopes for.
I wasn't keen on him remaining at Rangers as it was plainly obvious it hasn't worked out for him.
He has talent, he just needs luck and a platform to show it.
29 Mar 2026 07:38:53
Although it clearly didn't work out for Matondo at Rangers, I wish the guy all the best at Brann. π Hope he does the business for Brann, Aphelion. π
29 Mar 2026 08:06:07
He has had 2 platforms since he signed for us. They are called crutches. π€£
29 Mar 2026 10:03:25
A money sponge whose feet were faster than his brain - but we gave him the wage structure and contract, so what player is going to say no? π€ - Hopefully, we will not get stung again like that. π
29 Mar 2026 10:39:59
Cheers Aphelion, glad he's getting a move, hopefully he has success at Brann, mate, he seems to be a very popular person among his teammates.
29 Mar 2026 12:49:08
Reading some of the comments on Matondo, wage thief, has talent, just needs a bit of luck, just needs a platform, etc, etc.
If I didn't know any better, it sounds like we could be talking about one of our loan players.
29 Mar 2026 13:08:22
Glad to see the back of him. a parasite who became rich under false pretence
29 Mar 2026 19:55:02
Aphelion's comments on Matondo are very similar to that of Skov Olsen.

Utter garbage so far.
28 Mar 2026 18:55:33
Scotland's so, so poor.
28 Mar 2026 19:07:47
It is a friendly. Surely, this was the chance to try younger players put, but no, just another cap for the same tried and trusted. If he doesn't know what McLean etc can do by now, then I am at a loss. I think he does well as a manager with the players we have, but surely we need to also look to the future.
28 Mar 2026 19:09:06
The only positive we can take from that dross is wee Curtis now has a cap. π€
28 Mar 2026 19:32:24
Oh well. That was disappointing. Well done to Curtis tho. Congratulations, wee man.
28 Mar 2026 19:35:50
spot on Angus, then brings on Christie ralston why not put McCrorie and Miller or Irving to get a look at?
28 Mar 2026 09:42:12
I read this morning that Oumar Camara is tipped for a 10m move in the summer, with a host of EPL and Portuguese clubs watching him.
This is the young lad who had agreed to sign for us for free in the summer from PSG, he'd even rented his flat and made plans to move with his family - until Martin cancelled the deal.
Agree13Disagree0
28 Mar 2026 10:56:28
Are we surprised about Martin, cancelled Mulligans move as well. I'm sure.
28 Mar 2026 11:28:43
Fork, Mulligan chose Hibs. Not Rangers cancelling the deal.
28 Mar 2026 11:43:44
Think it was a bit of both, Paul. Mulligan chose Hibs because Martin never wanted him as much and chose Aarons. Camara could be a big missed opportunity.
28 Mar 2026 11:44:28
That was one I was really excited about young very talented lad (had to be if you're still on PSG's books at that age) think he was capt of French under 19s or similar & for free. would have loved to have seen this lad at Ibrox but yet another Martin mess up was the 1st of many.
28 Mar 2026 11:45:18
Not what was said by itk on here, bud. Wage agreed was coming n Martin cancelled.
28 Mar 2026 12:24:43
I can remember reading about him on here and then checking him out.
28 Mar 2026 13:05:00
Pretty sure I read an interview with Mulligan where he said that he had made up his mind to join Hibs from the moment he spoke to them last January. Now, he may just have been trying to stay on the good side of their support, but if that's true, it had nothing to do with Martin.
28 Mar 2026 13:23:31
Fork, I work with someone close to Mulligan and got told he wanted Hibs move.
28 Mar 2026 14:06:30
No worries, Paul, I was going by what was said on here, I think, though, may be wrong. The info was from John and possibly EHL, bud. π
28 Mar 2026 14:14:51
It was John, bud.
09 Dec 2025 16:11:06 Gers 84 Rangers withdrew their offer for Mulligan on Martins say so.
28 Mar 2026 15:02:11
There were 3 or 4 saying the same thing, Fork, you're right mate. Not sure how accurate, but definitely a few saying the same thing. Martin cancelled.
28 Mar 2026 17:54:24
Fork info provided at the time was correct.
28 Mar 2026 18:36:55
Cheers, John. ππ
28 Mar 2026 20:51:41
We opted for Gassama at Β£3m rather than this lad for free.
28 Mar 2026 21:59:57
Stevie, different positions though, so I suspect we would have both. Still think Gassama will come good. Also would be a bit concerned that Mulligan didn't look great against us at a time we were so poor, so would he improve our MF.
In summer I thought he would be a good buy, but games vs us now I wouldn't be so sure. We will never know, I guess.
28 Mar 2026 23:30:41
Angus, I thought we wanted Mulligan as a right back mate? Cover for Tav?
And I was sure Camara was a winger, mate, that's why I said that, was he not?
28 Mar 2026 05:17:08
i see Mikey Moore pulled out England 19s on medical grounds hope it just a precaution an he fit for title run in as we definitely need him.
Agree4Disagree0
28 Mar 2026 08:32:38
I hope to God it's nothing serious regarding Mikey Moore pulling out of the England unders. π We most definitely need him. π€
28 Mar 2026 09:01:25
I think someone said it was sickness related, and only just made it for Aberdeen game. Hope it's not been something else afterwards.
28 Mar 2026 09:20:36
John mentioned this a few days ago, and Moore was struggling for the Aberdeen game, hopefully just precautions.
28 Mar 2026 10:10:19
I read an article last night that Aston Villa were interested in Mikey Moore, even before we got him on loan. π² The biggest club in the Midlands possibly wanting Mikey Moore, I hope not. π Perhaps John would know this, just when I'm on the subject of Villa, ie.
which club in the Midlands has the strongest connection to Rangers, ie. Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Wolves,
West Brom. π€ Has anyone any info to which Midlands club has the strongest links to us? π€
28 Mar 2026 10:19:52
Not sure there are any real links, Sir Walter, though there was a good quiz on here recently about the number of Rangers and Birmingham players.
28 Mar 2026 10:41:31
Being born and raised a Villa fan until I moved to Scotland, Villa have a stronger connection to Celtic.
28 Mar 2026 11:54:36
Didn't look like Villa fans liked them very much when they played them in Europe.
28 Mar 2026 12:12:28
Coops, historically we had a stronger relationship with Birmingham. We would often tie up with Birmingham lads on the way down to London.
As Me2 said, Villa as a support and surrounding area had strong Republican links.
West Brom ties were created in the 90s when McInnes was there.
As a side note, he used to bring a lot of the West Brom players up to our pub on Paisley Rd and met a few.
They were good lads and became gers fans. I'm still in touch with 1 and he's now retired from footy but still comes up to games.
28 Mar 2026 12:50:21
Athole, Jason Roberts one of them?
28 Mar 2026 13:07:53
It's good to see Moore putting Rangers first when he is feeling an injury, I just wish the likes of Souttar, Cornelius and even Ryan Jack did the same rather than going with their international teams and making things worse.
28 Mar 2026 13:18:20
I have strong ties to Villa. There's no love for the other lot as was evidenced at Villa Park where the atmosphere was 'awkward' in the board room.
28 Mar 2026 13:59:49
If you don't mind me asking, Ibrox4Me, is your strong ties to Villa through family or whatever, mate. π€ So I'm assuming, Ibrox4Me, Villa have more love for Rangers as opposed to Celtic. π€ I know when Villa was formed their owner wanted them to wear blue as he was a Rangers man, but his wife wanted them to play in maroon as she was a Hearts fan, so they compromised, thus their colours of today.
π I also know that Villa's badge was taken from what the Rangers badge was, ie. the lion and ready, whereas Villa's was the lion and prepared. π€ Also links to Archibald Leitch who designed both Ibrox Stadium and Villa Park. π I think Villa were also formed by a Methodist church minister. π€
28 Mar 2026 14:00:45
So, Ibrox4Me, your favourite English club is Aston Villa, my friend. π€
28 Mar 2026 14:02:55
Well, Me2, conflicting stories regarding Villa, my friend, as Ibrox4Me also has strong ties to Villa and says the opposite of what you're saying, mate. π€
28 Mar 2026 14:08:38
Coops, stirring the pot. π Who'd have thought? ππ Only kidding, bud. π
28 Mar 2026 14:31:06
My Star he was. I'm sure there's other players there at the time with a Rangers connection, but I can't for the life of me remember who.
Dorrans may have been then or a bit later.
It's easy to forget, as McInnes spent so long at the sheep and other clubs, but the guy is 100% Rangers through and through. Every bit as much as McCoist, Ferguson etc.
28 Mar 2026 16:04:15
SWS, I don't think there's any ties at all. Don't think most clubs down south particularly care about us or the other team. Also, no, I don't have a favourite English or any other team.
My love begins and ends with Rangers and will be as long as I live.
I have ties to Villa and would prefer to see them be successful, but it wouldn't affect me day either way if they won or lose.
28 Mar 2026 18:13:37
Mikey Moore wouldn't get near the Villa team and probably wouldn't get near the bench.
That won't be true links with him and them.
28 Mar 2026 18:14:41
Cheers, Athole, though that, seen him a good few times over the years, mate, Scott Dobie?
28 Mar 2026 18:32:00
# Thought that.
28 Mar 2026 23:30:48
There were a few of them, Star. I'm racking my brain trying to think of who was there and the players who came up regularly.
I was in my heyday in the 90s, and can't remember a lot of it!
29 Mar 2026 07:44:59
Me2, absolutely don't doubt for a second that you were born a Villa fan, mate. π€ I can only go on the Villa fans I've met, and they all preferred Rangers over Celtic, mate. π€ I, however, was always led to believe that the Villa supporters were split 50/50 regarding who they preferred between Rangers and Celtic.
π€ With you being born down there and being a Villa fan, what would you say the percentage was in favour of who the Villa supporters prefer between them both? π€ I take it you still remain an Aston Villa supporter to this day, my friend. π€
28 Mar 2026 09:50:35
Excellent, seems like a really nice grounded fella. Thanks for sharing three cheers.
28 Mar 2026 19:17:15
Three cheers, thanks for putting that vid on the site, pal, a good watch, Manny sounds like a big gentleman.
29 Mar 2026 10:45:57
It reminds me of something Rohl said a few months ago: 'The first thing I want to do is to sit down with players and speak to them and understand them'. It is what you call being properly grounded. I hope this guy continues to do very well for us.
