Don't talk nonsense we almost matched them with worst rangers team assembled in years . Gerrards team would of wiped floor with that lot. John, we almost did this season bar a couple of dire results near the end and a horrendous start to the season. They are average at best. If we recruit well and add more goals to the team from the midfield and attack we will be there or there abouts.

Why so negative? They’ve got a lot of issues as well they’re far from perfect. Rodger’s recruitment record is also abysmal. We’re not a million miles away from them just because we ran out of steam at the end of the season. If you only looked at this season and not the last 3 or 4 I don’t think we’d be saying that.

I remember not too long ago many Rangers fans were laughing because the Tims had brought in an Aussie and a few players from Japan. We had never heard of Matt O'Reilly.
We were riding high with Gerrard at the helm and 55 bagged. Look what happened there.

Guys yous miss the point. They have over 100m in the bank with a guarantee of 35m for the CL and assets like oreily hayate kyogo to name a few so if they want to they can blow us away by spending just a fraction and any1 who thinks they won't strengthen is kidding themselves.

They'll add a few but not one bit worried about that if you look at Rodgers last 8 signings only one that looks a player is idah, not so sure the boy will stay to be on the bench. Matt o'riely best player will be gone something like 18 goals 20 assists, no way they replace like for like. I wouldn't be so confident we basically handed yous the title this year, took yous to last 5 mins with an absolutely depleted squad in cup, when yous were at full strength so calm down don't get ahead of yourself before we even see what squads are like.

I hope you're right that we're miles ahead. I think our dominance is fragile and it will only take a small tipping point ( we lose MOR, Calmac won't last forever) and you buy well for the roles to be reversed. I trust BR and I think you need to trust PC. C'mon Celtic but for Rangers every new season brings new hope.

Mystar they don't need as many as us and if they do they can afford to buy better quality whilst we have to hope to get lucky with young inexperienced players now that may work but it's just wrong to think they don't have the bigger financial muscle an example they're looking to spend 4m on a keeper we are being linked to freebies Kelly and big serb.

I'm not saying it's impossible bit fans are fooling themselves if they think they won't go out and strengthen and with more money to spend that gives them a bigger market to buy from just look at Idha they've been quoted 5/ 7m I believe we can't afford that on a striker.
