i don't believe there will be any ramifications. he's on loan, its been cancelled due to misconduct . if true

Didnt come with any hype. A look at his career would have told you all that highland bear. Played 50 times in the 3 years for a garbage french side. Was never going ti cut it. Said it from day we signed him.

He’s not even comparable to coulibally who was outstanding for us first half of that season. Fans were crying out for a deal to be sorted ASAP he was that good. Unfortunately a family bereavement affected him badly and his performances dropped. Zungu has done nothing in his loan and it’s why a loan to buy must be the way we go when the option is there. Zungu isn’t getting near our starting XI again so send him packing.

Sg must have seen something as we pursued him for a long time.
Ideally he won’t get a permanent deal, based on we need better.

I wrote a few weeks past that Zungu is one of the most least effective footballers I have seen at Rangers in a long time. His end product is nothing. His 2nd touch is a tackle which usually results in him fouling the opposition player. Instead of driving the team forward he would rather look for a safe option which is either a sideway pass, or a pass back to the defense. A strange player!

Totally agree scotty I looked at the guy and thought I hope there’s a price agreement in his deal as he’ll cost us a fortune if we even get him, then he just faded away. I thought he looked a great player.

BMGH I noticed recently his passing is always side ways or backwards but the first game he came on one of his first touches was an attempt at a 60 yards through ball. Maybe the nerves are getting the better of him as I was impressed at first and the South Africa fans love him.

I disagree with zungu not being good enough. I think he looked a decent sitting midfielder. Broke up play and has good range of passing. He didn't have a pre season and his start with us was disrupted by isolating. It takes time to adjust to playing for us just look at barisic. I think he was unlucky to have come when our midfield is stacked with talented players who are playing at the top of their game.

You're correct LS, but that was in a game we had already scored a good few goals and we were strolling it. I was actually impressed with his range of passing, but anytime he's been up against it, he's been rotten.
I don't think he's a bad player, he's just not suited to our style of play. If he's meant to be the player brought in to replace Davis (if he retires) or Kamara (If he's sold) then God help us.

Morelos has to stay for a crack at the Champions League. Rangers are a better team when he plays. Yes he’s got the potential to do something stupid at any time but there’s no doubting his presence. Look, upwards of 20 million is good business and I’m sure SG will have something up his sleeve but until there’s a concrete offer I’m happy he’s still a Rangers player. 3-1 tomorrow btw🇬🇧.

Seemingly our South African fan base is going to FIFA regarding Zungu’s loan termination.
Any player’s contempt for RFC and what we are trying to achieve under SG should face the harshest of punishment regardless.
They obviously don’t know how lucky they are.

I see we have allegedly agreed to sign Francis Jacobs from Orange County.
Youngest ever professional in US soccer at 14.
He has potential to go all the way in game.
This will further enhance our profile in US.

Was he Ed001? I could be wrong, but I think he's their player who has played for our youth side, but only as a guest?
This signing is all down to our partnership with Orange County.

{Ed001's Note - it may have been a mistake on the TMS due to not having the right set up to deal with these kind of youth moves, but they definitely said he moved to them on loan from Rangers. I remember it well from doing the news articles.}

Don’t think he was Ed, he was born in California and played for a junior team called Irvine Strikers before signing with Orange County. Never been on our books up till this point.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, I think they are right and the TMS had made a mistake. It does happen from time to time. It is the most reliable place to get transfer info, but it is not perfect. I do remember at the time thinking it was an oddity that a player that age could be loaned out and asked Ed002 if it would be legal. There were actually a few players listed as going on loan to Orange County from Rangers as part of the tie-in, he is just the only one I can remember due to the youngest pro thing as it broke Freddy Adu's record and I was working on an article on Adu at the time. I wish I could remember the others that were listed as going on loan so I could check and see if any of them actually were.}

Thanks Ed001, Let’s hope young Jacobs is stronger on achievement and delivery and less on hype than Adu ultimately proved to be.

He is the American clubs player but in 2019 he played for us in the alkaas cup. He will sign when he turns 16. Think that he will be the start of some American players with decent potential.
