Was speaking to a lad today and he told me that we are interested in a defender call Japhet Tanganga that plays with Spurs. I've limited knowledge about the lad outside of looking him up on fifa. Anyone heard anything about this player being a target.

Still relatively young at 25 and is a versatile defender. Imo he’d be a top signing on a free.

Have never seen him play so going off of wiki and other online reports and sadly they don’t make great reading. He has hardly kicked a ball for Tottenham over 5 years albeit injuries played a role. Got loaned to Augsburg last season and didn’t even make their bench then got re-loaned to mid table championship Millwall.
Hopefully someone who watches Millwall can inform us he looked streets too good for them? (Please)

When he came on the scene about 5/ 6 years ago i thought he'd have a very good career, far better than he has, but injuries have stopped that, couple of knee injuries, that's never good, i thought Millwall had signed him though.

Didn't swt the world alight on loan last seasonband fits into the category we were supposed to be diverting from of players who've lost ggere way I. e. cantwell dowell so a no from me.

Had a spell when he first made his debut where he looked very good but has fell off that standard, probably worth looking at for free though.

Would the club dare to bring in another injury prone player when that is an issue the club are attempting to fix this summer. They are looking at the medical team, the pre-season, and players were released based on their injury records. Roofe has ability in spades, and Rangers could have easily kept him, but nobody is interested in doing that. It does not matter how good a player is when they are sat in the stand.
If the club brought in someone who had hardly kicked a ball for 5 years, then he got injured again, they would look like complete mugs. I actually worry that Phil Clement might be setting himself up for a fall with all his talk of last summers pre-season that he was not involved with) . Because when we go into next season, and IF players are out with injury again, he will inevitably be asked the question - You said a proper preseason would reduce injuries and it hasn’t happened. explain? Having said that, Rangers had half a team out for most of last season and the odds of that happening are freakishly small. I mean seriously, when have we ever had eleven players unavailable? Crazy.

Bellshill watch the documentary, spurs all or nothing on amazon shows you his breakthrough into first team, was a few year ago. Solid defender, no nonsense type, can play cb or lb to injury prone for me.

He was rated higher than ccv at spurs but injures affected him badly.
