Anyone know when warbs is back at his desk?

05 Jun 2016 12:50:37
Hold on I'll go check his office for you. Nah he's not there yet.

04 Jun 2016 22:56:24
Any kit news as they had to submit to SPFL yesterday.

05 Jun 2016 00:02:11
I believe we're playing in the same kit as last season.

05 Jun 2016 08:57:18
Heard the exact same bongo, also heard we're trying to cut a deal with puma to leave our partnership with them as our kit manufacturers, supposedly nike and under armour waiting in the wings to become our new kit makers, nike are very keen to again get into partnership with rangers.

04 Jun 2016 21:03:35
I hope this performance puts to bed any talk of Greer or Hanley signing for us. They are just exactly what I have always thought of them - pure mince!

05 Jun 2016 01:31:06
Aye because playing against some of the top players in Europe is a good indication of how they will do in the spfl, get a grip of yerself.

05 Jun 2016 06:55:17
If you think these players should be playing for us then fine. It was France last night but really would have happened against anybody. Lazy defending through not getting tight enough and getting dragged out of position time and time again. Good players will not do this. We need players who will be able to compete comfortably in Europe. Do you think we would compete with this pair in the defence? If it hadn't been for the keeper and some shocking luck it could have been double figures. Shambles.

05 Jun 2016 08:59:48
My personal opinion is that I would have a fit steven taylor as our centre half at rangers long before either grant hanley or gordon greer.

05 Jun 2016 10:23:43
Agree seeker and guys we ain't buying players now for spfl. Were buying players to hopefuly play european football for the following season.

05 Jun 2016 16:25:11
Warbs ' I remember Taylor a few years ago when he was on the verge of international honours. He was a good player but maybe injuries have taken their toll? Might be worth a punt.
Davie - what we would give for a couple of big no nonsense centre backs with a turn of pace and tidy on the deck. Hanley has a physical presence but plays and looks as if he has a 56lb weight strapped to each leg. Greer is sharper but brings nothing much else to the table imo.

04 Jun 2016 20:44:33
ok, 3 things
1. get rid of the pink strip NOW

2. ONCE AGAIN give McKay a run

3. take the HIBS job ginger, please

04 Jun 2016 19:53:25
mon ginger. give barrie some game time .
PREDICTION.4-1.own goal.

04 Jun 2016 22:07:47
We may have been gubbed, but at least according to ginger "we're heading in the right direction" exciting ain't it?

04 Jun 2016 22:50:19
close mate!

Barrie got 4 mins

Pure ages!

05 Jun 2016 00:37:26
Three syllables - pa-the-tic.

04 Jun 2016 19:11:17
Heard that Scott Allan wasn't happy with his game time at Celtic and would prefer another club where he is starting games so hopefully pull him into the ibrox side soon enough.

04 Jun 2016 19:27:53
Not good enough for celtic so what makes you think he's good enough for us don't want him anywhere near ibrox.

04 Jun 2016 19:53:05
Had his chance to come to us but choose Celtic let him deal with the consequences.

04 Jun 2016 20:01:37
He could have waited for us but he took the money Celtic offered him instead, I don't think he will ever pull the famous jersey on now.

04 Jun 2016 22:05:08
I think he'll end up at celtics new English feeder club Rotherham.

05 Jun 2016 00:41:23
There's no doubt in my mind - the lad can play football and quite frankly deserved to be given a run in that side. That said I would not like to see him in a Rangers shirt. He had his chance and blew it.

05 Jun 2016 09:40:48
F*** Scott Allen, he's a wee judas.

04 Jun 2016 20:01:35
Thegersman he had his chance and preferred to join celtic rather than let his contract run down, if he had sat hibs out and eventual came to us he would have got his chance to play first team football at us, and im sure with his speed and quick thinking mw would have made him a better player, but he has now made his bed let him lie in it, well that's my opinion anyway, his loss.

05 Jun 2016 16:27:35
I've a feeling Buck might just find a place for him. Hope not.

04 Jun 2016 17:56:05
Just a post here to see what players us rangers fans want in obv affordable ones just to get some ideas of who yous would think would be good signings we need a cb another midfielder a cover left or right back and a poacher who can sniff out a chance from nothing players I've got in mind are adam le fondre, will grigg, Alex pritchard loan, dom ball would be great loan, Glenn murray, danny ings loan, brede hangeland, krystian belik loan higher earners but arteta, Thomas rosicky, gabby agbonglahor, rolando aarons, russell martin, will Buckley, michu, rickie lambert prob a lot there will never happen but just some ideas.

04 Jun 2016 19:45:29
Adam Armstrong from Newcastle! Although fatty won't want to give us any players lol. I think filip kiss would be a great signing for a free agent. Obvcourse guys like will grigg etc would be good but don't see them happening.

04 Jun 2016 23:40:24
Filip kiss? Not sure if you're joking or not but he's awful. I've got a few Ross County supporting mates being from that neck of the woods and they will all say the same thing. had a good first month on loan up there and done absolutely nothing else for the last 15 or 16 months of the loan. Now if signing guys not good enough for Ross County is going to help us improve then I give up haha.

04 Jun 2016 17:24:15
Who would yous like to see at ibrox people just to get some suggestions going obv in our price range I've always though adam le fondre would do us a job done well in epl when he played for reading think Alex Pritchard would be a good addition in loan also maybe get someone like danny ings on loan or Joel Campbell fron arsenal greg Stewart we are crying out a for cb though someone that's been round the block I thought we shouldn't of let go of mcgregor.

04 Jun 2016 18:46:15
Joel campbell is terrible and prithard would be excellent but spurs looking to sell him for 8 million not looking to loan him out anymore.

04 Jun 2016 19:46:31
Joel Campbell terrible? You at the wind up? He would cost upwards of 10 million. Pritchard had a loan at west bromil and couldn't get a look in! (granted pulis is the manager)

04 Jun 2016 21:34:50
Joel campbell stats carter total club games 172 goals 22 mind boggling stats and you think he is worth 10 million laughable.

04 Jun 2016 15:47:42
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, has reached a deal with Manchester United over the Swede's salary with a move now hinging on talks between the striker and the club's new manager, José Mourinho.

Looks like he has a preference and it's not Celtic.

04 Jun 2016 16:09:28
It was never going to be them at any time. My sides are still aching from laughing.

04 Jun 2016 17:15:47
Hey every1 if you think zlatan wants to join celtic, type into Google ( zlatan and Celtic tweet ) and you'll see what he thinks 😂😂😂.

04 Jun 2016 14:53:00
I know there's a lot of jokes on here about zlatan going to Celtic lol but one thing he has said is he would love to finish his career at parkhead lol, his agent even said were he goes will surprise everyone, could he really go to the east end?
Now I'm not stupid and I personally think he will go to United or China but it is a banter page so what's other people thoughts on the matter.

04 Jun 2016 15:27:25
The guy is a quality player and did say what you mentioned about ending his career somewhere with passionate fans but I would think United are his aim.

04 Jun 2016 15:49:21
Not in a million years. He's already supposed to have said he wants paid 600,000 quid a week.

04 Jun 2016 16:42:04
Finishing a career at parkhead, doesn't mean playing for Celtic, just playing his last ever game there.

04 Jun 2016 19:47:10
It means when he's 39 years old not 33, let's be honest he's still a top top player.

04 Jun 2016 11:51:34
Is it not about time the board told as all what's happening on transfers, strips . ect ect seems all quite.

04 Jun 2016 11:57:47
If they could have told us they would have.

04 Jun 2016 13:21:58
Boards don't usually come out and say what transfers are going ahead.

04 Jun 2016 13:26:19
Correct Ross, the board is in a battle with cashly, I haven't bought a strip in a couple of years and I won't buy any until the club get a decent percentage of money from the merchandise sold.

04 Jun 2016 13:31:20
The Special One mind they also need a break just like the players it's only the start of June plenty time. Just chill.

04 Jun 2016 10:33:19
Scotland manager Gordon Strachan will not risk throwing inexperienced players into tonight's friendly with France.

Barry Mckay might as well not have been selected for these games?

04 Jun 2016 11:18:24
No rangers players should even consider playing for that mob, mon germany.

04 Jun 2016 11:29:28
Stuzo that is crap Scotland is our country but I would say not to play for Strachan as he is not interested in playing rangers players but his arrogance especially when things are not going his way will always shine through and be his undoing so Wallace, Mackay, Holt and anyone else from rangers should just wait because when the post mortem on his stint as Scotland manager is carried out, playing and not playing certain players will always come into it.

04 Jun 2016 11:41:18
Ffs It's a friendly game surely this is when you field your inexperienced squad players to see how they react, if this is true then every new call up should aswell chuck in the towel right now as long as wee Fanta pants is in charge, or are you speculating? Who knows what wee ginger balls thinks.

04 Jun 2016 12:07:56
If Strachan can not play fresh blood in a friendly well do you do it?

If he plays the same old faces and loses its time for Strachan to leave. I don't expect us to win, but to lose with the old guard would be a complete waste of time. Strachan started off well enough but has been shocking for the last 7 or so games, bad team selections time after time. It's about time we had a manager who can work with what we have AND be positive with it. Stop greetin about not havin a Bale and perhaps start playing players like McKay and Gauld!

04 Jun 2016 12:21:01
Stuzo any of our players playing internationaly can only be good for rangers as any future transfer we can command a higher fee due to the player being an international as price always higher for international players.

04 Jun 2016 14:34:07
Due to the fact we aren't in the euros I believe we should be blooding the younger lads that will most likely be used for the world cup qualifications. The old guard shouldn't be used in these matches, it's embarrassing sending the youth with them for them to not get game time. Also I reckon Mckay, Ritchie and Phillips in the midfield would work nicely in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but then again what do I know.

04 Jun 2016 12:47:13
Stuzo its france our country is playing in the friendly tonight, not germany mate, try supporting your own country, I don't like the sfa etc either but I support my national team as its a separate issue, rangers players will be playing for scotland so let's support them and our country.

04 Jun 2016 15:33:27
Who cares who he picks or doesn't pick he is a dead man walking and will be out the door once we don't qualify for the World Cup.

04 Jun 2016 19:34:15
Im sick of listening to Strachan speak. The quicker he goes the better. He made us marginally better than the mess Levien left us in but in my opinion has actually took us back to that level again. How can he say that it would be detrimental to Mckays progress to play against France. I've never heard anything so silly in all my life. If a player has played well enough to gain a call up surely playing them is the natural step to take, even just for a cameo at the end. The Italy game was crying out for the wee mans pace and trickery at the end.
I've never been a massive fan of the national team but I still always wanted us to win. Now I couldn't care less to be honest.

04 Jun 2016 09:42:58
I've heard a few names dotted about at my local recently and I've heard the names of: Tommy Smith (Ipswich? ) Nick Powell (man Utd) Tom Carroll (Spurs) Adrian Mariappa (palace) James Morrison (west brom) Sone Aluke (hull) and Kevin McDonald (wolves) I'm led to believe all of these players are without a contract this summer so could be very possible, does anyone know if there is any links to these players or perhaps any other new links that have arisen?

04 Jun 2016 10:15:03
As I've stated previousley Morrison ideally wants to stay in the EPL and is getting silly money thrown at him to return to Middlesborough.
Aluko I wouldn't mind but he's talking to Birmingham just now.
Kevin McDonald is a good player but sure he still has a year on his contract. As for the rest, I haven't heard enough to comment.

04 Jun 2016 13:30:17
Id probably take all of them but they are all established pl or ch players with other clubs interested so i think unrealistic unless the player really wants to come. we are a big club but the spl isn't pl or ch level and we can't compete with 20k+ wages.

04 Jun 2016 08:36:39
Just for laughs. I thought I would draw a first 11 from players we are linked to. Couldn't find any full backs so stuck in Reece Wabara as he was on trial last season and just been released and passed on left backs. Not bad team tho!

David Bentley

Reece Wabara, Dom Ball, Eitan Tibi, ?

Khelid Uchoa, Aaron Mooy, Niko Kranjcar

Ben Pringle, Sone Aluko, Fanendo Adi!

04 Jun 2016 03:09:57
My worry with this Ben Pringle is that if we sign him then we could end up signing another 25 centre halves-because once you pop.

04 Jun 2016 06:05:32
He's plays in midfield and yer joke wiz gash haha.

04 Jun 2016 08:36:27
Was terribly gash.

04 Jun 2016 00:57:49
Remember the Kevin Nolan rumours, wouldn't mind seein him takin up one of the CB positions dunno if it's possible? But I could see him in there and I think the guy has all the attributes. class player, might be too old now tho? Hope we can get Greg Stewart on a pre-contract, def one for the future and a bluenose.

04 Jun 2016 08:36:47
Nolan is a cm.

04 Jun 2016 11:57:48
Nolan is an attacking midfielder and has barely played for about a year. He was a manager at Leyton orient.
