Phil Jones on loan, at Murray park for a year loan over the weekend. Mourinho rates Jones but would like him to prove his fitness and overcome injury issues so giving him a year before deciding on his future at the theatre of dreams. My mates working down in Manchester and he passed on this rumour. Dout it's true tho.

1.) 05 Aug 2016 10:48:53
I doubt it also but what a sensational signing that would be!

2.) 05 Aug 2016 11:09:24
Would be great bit of business, don't see it happening though!

3.) 05 Aug 2016 11:10:15
No way will this happen.

4.) 05 Aug 2016 11:25:55
More chance of signing tom jones.

5.) 05 Aug 2016 12:04:06
Tom Jones spotted at Murray park, not unusual.

6.) 05 Aug 2016 12:08:45
now that WOULD be unusual lol.

7.) 05 Aug 2016 13:00:06
LMAO FUNNY GUYS!
I don't think that we will get another striker in but I do think we will get sum1 for defence.

8.) 05 Aug 2016 14:22:08
If we don't get a decent defender in we would be doing well to finish second. Let's not forget that defence is he same defence that was leaking goals in the championship. Barton sitting in front is going to be able to stop that on his own. Surprised MW hasn't addressed that area yet. I know he doesn't want to be forced into buying someone he's not convinced about but there must be loads of available defenders that are better than what we have.

9.) 05 Aug 2016 18:40:12
Either warburtons happy to continue risking Kiernan and Wilson or he's not too bothered about bringing in abother centre half. One minute he's telling us he wants to bring in another 2 players then we are ready and then saying he's happy with the squad we have got. Tbh I'm not 100% happy with the centre halfs, it's all fine and dandy saying crooks will play there but if he doesn't fit the bill we have 4 centre halfs that are fairly mediocre.

10.) 06 Aug 2016 10:43:02
Doubt it very much, but I've just seen joleon lescott being released by villa, too costly. Maybe, but ideal player
Tommy.

11.) 06 Aug 2016 15:18:49
I agree that defence is by far our weakest position, but everybody seems to forget we have a very talented young lad in matt crooks who can cover centre back very comfortably. I wouldn't mind another defender but a defensive partnership of crooks and wilson will be solid especially with barton playing just in front of them.

12.) 07 Aug 2016 14:38:40
I am quite sure that Warburton knows how poor our central defence is and would love to sign a quality defender and equally he would like a proven goalscorer but these types cost money and there is more chance of Scotland winning the world cup than of Dave King funding such a deal! He is just another Murray with his moonbeams!

Clint Hill Has officially signed a 1 year Deal.

Unconfirmed report Rangers are going to put a bid in for Sheffield Utd Striker Jamie Murphy 400k bid thoughts?

Gaz_T

1.) 09 Aug 2015 05:24:57
Wasn't he one of the players making sectarian comments to rangers fan's via Internet

2.) 09 Aug 2015 06:02:49
Don't think he is what rangers need just now ain't go the best goal record in comparison to games played I would prefer a striker who has a good
proven goal scoring record to convert all the chances we create Murphy ain't out and out forward likes to drop back too but we got loads of that type now we need a penalty box poacher imo

3.) 09 Aug 2015 05:54:09
I think your getting mixed up with someone else. Murphy is a Rangers fan I believe.

4.) 09 Aug 2015 09:19:53
Jamie Murphy is a bluenose. You should watch what you are posting and only make accurate comments about things like that mate.

5.) 09 Aug 2015 09:53:55
Did Ally not want to sign him. If so you know he would turn out to be another flop and a waste of money.

6.) 09 Aug 2015 09:55:33
mols67 are u sure I have afunny feeling although it should not matter what ne is

7.) 09 Aug 2015 10:27:13
Bigwull, the boy is a bluenose. And you are right it doesn't matter whether he is or not but there was a suggestion he posted sectarian comments to Rangers fans which I'm pretty sure isn't true.

8.) 09 Aug 2015 11:40:13
Sign him up great signing.

9.) 09 Aug 2015 12:24:53
Dont see him being the 20+ st that we probably need, i'm hoping waghorn can start scoring more, as he does good job for us playing uptop in terms of movement and holding ball up.

10.) 09 Aug 2015 12:25:02
GAZ
Davie W didn't fancy him when he was manager at Wednesday

11.) 09 Aug 2015 12:50:06
Darren1690 Please check facts before making statements like that.

And on the same theme, Chris Graham spread a malacious lie about someone on Friday night which he later had to withdraw. The actions of a man who should never have been appointed onto our board.

12.) 09 Aug 2015 13:23:03
He is far too lightweight. We need a stronger more muscular forward than what Murphy is. He's more suited to the wider role but we have enough wider players. We need a mobile poacher type player who will do the running as well as score. A more cynical Waghorn if you like. If Waghorn gets injured we will struggle a bit through the middle because you can't expect Miller to play week in week out and Clarke is nowhere near good enough. He might do a job in this league but they will definitely need to bring someone in for next year and maybe that's the plan. We are better off hanging tight till next year before making anymore buys I think. We have enough fire power to go up this year quite comfortably as we did last year but bad management (Ally and co) prevented that. We will attract better players next year for sure.

13.) 09 Aug 2015 15:28:03
His goal scoring record isn't great mainly because he's been playing wide on the left but he had a decent record during his Motherwell days playing through the middle

Was anyone at the game on Saturday and see how No Serrendros got on at the back?

Gaz_T

1.) 05 Sep 2016 10:47:35
I asked the same question the other day, it seems he got on great, even warbs gave a statement regards Senderos, he strolled the 60 minutes he played and is looking in great shape for not having much competitive games recently, works hard in training and still has a great desire for the game. he's out to prove his worth in scotland.

2.) 05 Sep 2016 10:49:41
Was at game Gaz T, he fitted in well, but wasn't really tested, think he will be a good addition, good to see someone at the back who can head the ball .
The player who I am not too sure about is Joey Barton,
I have yet to see him have a outstanding game for us, he should know it is not a stroll in the park up here, and start showing what he is capable of .

3.) 05 Sep 2016 10:58:34
He was never really tested to be fair but he looked quite good. Not much pace would be the only downside.

4.) 05 Sep 2016 11:27:38
I think barton will prove his worth up here but until he does I wouldn't start him. bring him and niko on when their defence is tired they can show their worth.

5.) 05 Sep 2016 11:50:18
brian, youre right, i watched the game yesterday. he did everything he needed to but was not under any pressure. i actually thought that linfield would have made a better game of it.

6.) 05 Sep 2016 16:09:54
there not on our level technically or physically, it showed we played with a pace and power they couldn't match most professional teams would run over Lingfield.

10 Aug 2016 14:08:50
Dundee Accepted a £500k bid for Greg Stewart from Birmingham City but Greg Stewart has turned down the move! Big Gers fan I wouldn't mind him signing a pre-contract in January 😜.

Gaz_T

1.) 10 Aug 2016 15:19:26
My initial offer would be £250,000 to let him know that we really really want him.

2.) 10 Aug 2016 15:58:42
Do you think that he knows something knocking back birmingham, maybe rangers interested.

3.) 10 Aug 2016 16:11:45
Offer £500k and get it done remember what it was like last summer.

4.) 10 Aug 2016 16:54:41
supposedly qpr in as well.

5.) 10 Aug 2016 18:10:00
Not the type of player we need.

6.) 10 Aug 2016 18:12:42
Bears, who else do we have with a left peg in that position? I really think we will get Stewart on a pre in Jan I really do hope Warbs brings in a CH and a striker soon but definitely a CH as I have high hopes for Dodoo I think this guy will bang them in given a decent run, have faith in Dodoo also Windass think Warbs will play this guy in a far more attacking role BUT CH priority!

7.) 10 Aug 2016 18:58:54
Defo agree mate cb is priority. i'd like to see rossiter as the sitter with barton an windass more advanced. think windass would influence games more than krankjar as he's more pacey, athletic, strong etc.

8.) 10 Aug 2016 19:06:28
Stewart will be a 5m player in 2 seasons mark my words Bears!

9.) 10 Aug 2016 19:27:00
Defo think 500k on stewart is worth the risk. bags of potential, young and a cracking left foot. we look so disjointed at times with all right footers.

10.) 10 Aug 2016 19:00:29
Gaz t good post mate, ide imagine if we after stewart he will site tight, and sign a pre contract when santa claus in due in the area, lol, the player is a rangers fan, so he will show his true colours while waiting for the move, unlike another player that claimed to be a bear, that same player would have got his chance to come to our place, frozen out by his new club, then fired out the door at his new club, ide bet my last pound that allen wished he had sat in the stands for his last season at hibs rather than being passed around like a bottle of cheap wine,

11.) 11 Aug 2016 07:23:27
greg stewart would be a great addition to the gers, scores the kind of goals Haris Vudkic used to score from outside the area, similar left peg.

12 Jul 2016 12:57:40
Good luck to Liam Kelly who has been loaned out to Livingston for the Cumming season.

Gaz_T

1.) 12 Jul 2016 13:40:01
Yes good luck to the boy. Made me think of the boy Knox, anyone heard anything?

2.) 12 Jul 2016 16:37:06
Fd

Was hoping that maybe they could have done some sort of deal involving Knox and sending a couple of young players on loan to Livingston.

3.) 12 Jul 2016 17:42:32
From what i read he wasn't too interested in rangers i don't think the manager is interested or we would have him by now. i think they wanted 150,000.

12 Jul 2016 09:21:55
Warberton looking to bring in 2 more players soon. preferred to permanen deals

Sorce Rangers FC.

Gaz_T

1.) 12 Jul 2016 12:00:00
Yeah it will be the CB and ST we have been talking about for weeks. Obviously struggling with the striker as Warburton has said he ideally would have been there in the US. Hopefully they will be quality additions to push us into next season to challenge for the title.

01 Jul 2016 21:18:15
We need to sign that Robson-Kanu! Free Agent!

Gaz_T

1.) 01 Jul 2016 21:25:45
Get him signed up now. He has ran the Belgian defence ragged all night.

2.) 01 Jul 2016 21:38:26
A said a couple weeks ago we should go for him. think we may have left it too late now. am sure there will be lots of teams interested now.

3.) 01 Jul 2016 22:03:16
Think we have found our striker that would do a job for us. pity he'll be sought after by half of Europe now. MW needs to pull a white rabbit from that magic hat of his and set McParlane on his way to sort this signing out now. Add Kanu. add 55.

4.) 02 Jul 2016 15:59:51
You never know maybe we already have spoken to him, i'm sure we have had words with a few players at the euros. We will see how the next week plays out.

Yea he's going to be a great player. Excellent range of passing good technical ability and pace, and with his hight at 6'4 he will be great at the back for defending corners and free kicks into the box (Our main weekness) hopefully not too long now to we see him in the famous blue jersey 🔴⚪️🔵.

I would prefer Matty Taylor. He scored 28 goals last season and with the kind of service our team would give he would be a great signing.
