If King is going out on loan is that not an indication that we are lining up another C.B. Even if Davies stays that would leave us 4 including Balogun who was brought in as the 5th man . Souttar, Davies and Balogun have worrying injury records and even Goldson has picked up a couple of long term ones recently . I don`t think Yfeko is ready yet so that leaves us worryingly close to where we were last season and we all know what that cost us. Don`t know whether it will be Souttar but with the EPL clubs having to firm up their 25 man squads there may be someone out there who won`t be getting a game and could be a good loan for us.

I think a CB will come in and not as many will go as we all initially thought. Kamara sale brings in the some cash to balance the spend, if you look at who we have brought in for his fee, then it’s been a superb window with little outlay.

Beale do you have any more info on possible loan signing ie. winger etc if it’s not souttar? I know we have sima on loan but the manager has said before that he was reluctant on loan signings and would rather permanent deals, do you know if he has changed his stance on that? Imo I think the loan market could be beneficial for us, if the player is good enough and it benefits the first team then I think it can be a good thing. The Tillman deal was a good example of that, worked out well for both parties.

Take Ola in a heartbeat. Contracted till 2027.Put on the transfer list. Loan to buy would be a good option. Get him, Souttar and Cooper but I think any incoming would depend on outgoings/ Champions League qualification.
