Captain tav in the EA sports team of the season.
His stats are incredible this season.
Instead of building a team around his strengths most want rid of him.
Don’t know what yous have til it’s gone.
Without tavs goals n assists god knows where we’d have been over the last 10 years.

Perhaps we’d have purchased wingers / midfielders who can score goals? I’m sure having a right back in his position would have reduced the number of goals conceded which would also have helped.
He’s been a cracking player, great value for money and I’ve loved seeing him in a rangers strip, I will not miss him wetting the bed against Celtic time and time again.
I can’t understand why anybody would propose building a team around a 32 year old right back?

Stevie stats are well and good mate but sometimes it's better just to watch. I'm pretty sure tav has been at fault for at least 1 goal in each of our last 10 games mate, that just can't continue if we are serious about lifting trophies. Stevie he hasn't even lost a yard or 2 it's 4 or 5 yards he's lost. I honestly think the fans will turn quickly if he's our rb next season.

No doubt he has been a great player, no one disputes that, but being honest Stevie he has fell away recently, he is also getting caught out or is liable in quite a lot of games bud, said it before, nothing f#cks you like time imho.

He takes all the penalties and at least 85% of the corners and free kicks. Team of the year clearly doesn't count the amount of times he sells the jerseys particularly in big matches. Its time to move on from a serial loser captain.

Build a team around an aging bang average right back that's absolutely wild. I'd rather sign better players in their own position than continue with the farce that is our captain. He needs to go . Most fans want him dropped for the cup final and I agree he will get destroyed by the equally bang average maeida. Without tavs mistakes God knows where we'd be also. Fell asleep and rubbish the bed in last game at ibrox after 20 seconds there goes the game plan right out the window. For us to get better as a team I'd rather have defenders who can defend and midfielders creating and scoring.

Come back after saturday and tell meif you still want to buuld a team around him. Its a cert he costs a goal or makes a huge error. Great servant but its getting ridiculous now the goals he's costing. Its the norm now.

Totally respect your opinions but more so how u put them across.
Yous haven’t slated or abused the guy and that’s all that bothers me.
I don’t mean build the future of the team around him lads, maybe a few seasons ago we should’ve replaced Jack with someone who can do same job but stay fit, to cover tavs forward runs and defensive deficiencies
Also playing 4 mfs instead of 2 helps an unbelievable amount. Maybe Ali’s with a defensive minded left back. Think papac or the likes. To tuck in and make a 3 when tavs forward. All this would’ve helped stabilise the team when tavs up the park and being cought out.
I’d like to see him go for one more season. Starting as 1st choice with max Johnston brought in as back up to eventually replace him, Devine brought back next summer to battle with Johnstone.
If Saudis want him as say £10m. Why not.

Phillipe Clement is not going to build a team round a 32 yr old RB who can't defend . He will let the cycle run it's course then recycle with a new captain and RB going into next season if he values his job. I suspect he does. Guy has been pheonomenal over the years from Warburton till the present day. It's time to move on from Captain Tav though and his wonder freekicks to preserve the fond memories.

Honestly mate, there’s no need to abuse our captain who has been overall very good for us, even carried us at times. It’s probably the right time for all party’s and I’ll certainly remember him fondly as a great Morden day attacking full back.
As he’s so reliant on goals and assists, unfortunately when these dry up he doesn’t really bring much to the team and for this weekend I think we’d be better balanced with Sterling.
That being said if he scores a hat trick (and we win) he can have my wife for the weekend ??.

We've built a team around him for the last 10 years as he's been the only constant along with goldson and we've won one league title and a cup. Buy a striker who we can rely on for goals and get a rb who can defend first and foremost.

Tav has never carried us anywhere except to second best and sometimes not even that. If he makes another mistake that costs us on Saturday then he should hand in the armband and go. Sterling should start on Saturday for me as it's clear that maeida has taverniers number.

Tav and Goldson have been very well paid for cocking up in the past few seasons, PC has a decision to make for this game, i'd he gets it wrong and we again see basic errors from Tav or Lundstrum if he plays him, the he has questions to answer.

Whatever anyones thoughts on tav as a player (and I can see both sides) how can anyone call him a serial loser or talk about his trophy haul, is it only him on the park? The team and the club are serial losers, its not 1 individual to blame, noone calls Ryan jack, goldson etc serial losers and they've been here the last 5 or 6 seasons too - bizarre.

Love tav but he went missing at the end of the season when it mattered most his best season stat wise but means nothing if he doesn’t win this cup on Saturday think this is his last game as a rangers player.
