After seeing Igamane score the winner for Lille this weekend, went looking on YouTube to remind myself what he did for us.

Found a video called 'Hamza Igamane Best Bits 24/25'.

Igamane, Cerny, Dessers Jefte, Bajrami all combining well. That team played some good football.

Current team is so poor, I'm nostalgic for the last team most folk on here thought was poor. 😆.

In my opinion Chermiti should have been handled like Igamane and Morelos.

Regardless of his transfer fee he wasn't ready to start and needed a few months to settle in at the club before being gradually integrated.

Igamane never wanted to stay any longer, and wanted out. I'm struggling to see what we could have done today keep him? Are you forgetting he refused to play for us? He was punted, and quite rightly so!

Where we have failed, and failed miserably, is not replacing him and others with the same quality and goal return - we basically got rid of players who could guarantee 60 odd goals between them, and replaced them with absolute dug meat.

Igamane wanted out because of how he was treated by Martin. Never heard of someone going away for international and having visa issues for a month on return before. Yes he reacted wrong but could have been handled far better and kept on and we'd have a far better Striker than what we have now.

Chermiti is an absolute embarrassment and should never been signed even given time like others.

Iga is a very talented player, i'm not sure he has the pace nor the endeavour to reach the very top but extrememely gifted, bit like Mols in that respect.

I think at that time though he wasn't getting played sometimes and wasn't getting on as a sub.
Total breakdown of relationship, perhaps that's why Martin didn't want him full stop.

But u are right if he refused to play he had to go.

From last season to this. Is this our poorest 'rebuild' ever. the downgrades on players is insane. Miovski and Chermiti won't hit double figures shots on target before end of season.

Some on here rate our players as upgrades from last season Paul. Unbelievable. Cerny was a must keep for me and Dessers should have stayed also. Igamane wanted away.

We are chasing a winner today. We are into 5 mins stoppage time and on two occasions we have a free kick, (one of them on the left side) and on both cases Tav wanders over to take them. About 50yds away showing no urgency. To cap it all, he wastes both. Surely there is someone else that can take them.

Butland 1st choice
Kelly 3rd choice if he wants to stay.

Tav 2nd choice rb.

Souttar back up rcb.

Fernandes and Nsiala - 1 sent out on loan and one as 4th choice cb

Barron starter cm

Cameron back up cm

Curtis back up forward

Gassama I would sell if possible but happy to keep as back up left winger

Bajrami happy to sell but back up wouldn't be the worst if we had to.

So that is 10 players kept with one out on loan leaves 9.

Bajrami and Gassama could go too so only leaves 7 players I would except from a cull.

We need about 18 new players before the start of next season, the hard part is we need to get rid of around the same amount.
Happy that some of them are loans.

Absolutely hellish folks, that has to be the worst Rangers Squad I can remember in the 64 years I've followed the Club. We have very little skill, no urgency, no pace at all, unable to control a ball, win a tackle, and find a Rangers player with a pass, and finally, no penetration whatsoever.

I always try and believe we can turn thing around, that went today with that abject performance, I hate to say it, but our season is over, as any new players would have to hit the ground running in January, no time to settle in any more.

Irvger, totally agree. I have been watching Rangers since 1969 and cannot think of a time when I felt so low. We are bang average (at best) and it won't improve until a large number of the current squad are moved on, which we all know won't be easy.


We will come again, until then we'll just need to enjoy reruns of the old days. Maybe the squad should be treated to highlights of Old Firm games from a few years back to helpbthem understand what it means to wear a Rangers jersey.

Need to try and build another run of wins leading into january and then hopefully get good signings in the door to improve the team.

My Star, your optimism is commendable but we're not going to finish in top two. The team we have is bereft of fight and requisite ability. We've won five league games from thirteen so it would take something they don't possess to change this.

That lot will win the league with the lowest points total in years and we'll be lucky to win twenty games this season.

I honestly thought we would be able to hang on to January and scrape wins when we had off days but I fully expected us to win be a couple the day. Unfortunately going forward we are dreadful, we never seem to look like we are in control of a game at any point, we badly need experience in that team.

Was willing to give most a chance but nearly every one of our "forward thinking" players are just dreadful

I've no doubt we will be best of the rest but if we can't create and take chances we have no chance of running Celtic close

I listen to every game on the radio, and the usual comments from the commentators are " too slow, no spark in team, must be the easiest team to defend against " I just hope Rohl gets a lot of help from the 49ers in January, but this season looks done already. They are all still playing Martinball, without a care in the world between them.
