Why do other teams defenders manage to block our crosses, but we stand and watch crosses into our box? Puzzled me for a couple of years now or more. What do they do in training ?

coulsd have written this before the game. No desire- no creativity and no teamwork in general. well done hearts for showing all of the above. this bunch of players are a disgrace to the blue shirt. no point in naming names we all know who they are.12 back with a game in hand is not the end of the world but after the next 2 games it may well be.
no blame to the manager here. he tried to shake things up but there is quite simply nothing he could do. but they will cash their weekly paycheques with desire and creativity.

Good chance now Paul, that graft comes from the man in charge mate, long time since any club beat both Rangers and Celtic home and away in the first couple of games, felt earlier we're in front of Celtic it's ours, but that graft you talk about is why they're currently the best team in our league, as well as having a good few players.

As I remember there was some discussion re devlin against Barron, well devlin is totally outplaying Barron plus Raskin and Diomande, but not good enough apparently.

I don't think it was devlin vs Barron at all thought Barron was having to cover right back a lot as was Sterling inly two with pass marrks today reat were horrendous.

Spot on John. Very 1st minute Tav lost the ball charging forward and never chased back and just got worse esp 2nd half with wandering all over the place. Aarons offers nothing in defence or attack. I like Barron but Devlin was so much better than any of our midfield again.

John devlin looks good because he's playing in a winning team with good players but where has he been prior to this season? he's ok but wouldn't improve us imho.

Our midfield is as poor as it can possibly be. Badly need far better quality in there How Raskin gets picked for Belgium ill never know. Again how bad is Tav he has done absolutely nothing to deserve a start it's like playing against 12.

Fair play to Rohl for saying he's looking for the right players to fit the club. However, too much detail and a bit naive to open up so much. Saying he's speaking to guys who can cope with the pressure etc just invites a media and lunatic fan onslaught if they struggle at the start. Walter Smith was the standard bearer of saying what needs to be said and when to the press.
Do the talking on the pitch and defend the players in time of need, don't build them up as guys with 'character' etc before they've signed. Loving what Rohl does but he doesn't need to please and pander to the media or the fans too much in pressers IMO.

Can't say I agree. Don't think he's giving too much away and is absolutely spot on with his pressers. He's a joy to listen to and an absolute breath of fresh air compared with what we've had to listen to for past few years m.
