π€£π€£ Kaiser you are correct.
But seen as I get blamed when he performs poorly I have adopted him into the Aphelion agency π.

05 Apr 2026 04:27:40
You better have a word with yourself about his performance today Aph. π€ͺ
05 Apr 2026 08:56:02
I know BB4, how dare he put in a man of the match performance. π€£
04 Apr 2026 17:56:22
We got the result today and that's all that matters. can't help but think we look so much more comfortable at the back with the pairing of Djiga and Fernandes tho.
Agree6
04 Apr 2026 18:29:07
Have to agree, bud. π
04 Apr 2026 19:03:39
Don't think we can play the same players every game though, and Fernandez, back from playing for Nigeria, possibly deserved a break. I agree with EHL and think our MF and the way we play leaves our CBs exposed and results in Souttar especially throwing in blocks. Btw, one today was superb and saved a goal.
04 Apr 2026 19:20:52
Aye, but Raskin was in the States, and Mexico, Angus, so really, by that logic, he should've been left out for Dio or Barron possibly. π
04 Apr 2026 19:31:35
The midfield don't make Souttar defend terribly. Souttar is not what's needed going forward. He is slower than a week in the jail, and has never been good enough.
If it is the midfield, then that's down to Rohl to fix it. Blaming midfield for Souttar being pish at defending is just an excuse.
04 Apr 2026 19:41:54
True Fork forgot about that. Wonder if he came back with a slight knock then, as there must have been a reason not to replace a Cb when we were so so poor (π). I guess we just have a squad and a manager who trusts every player to see us through.
04 Apr 2026 19:57:12
I understand u can't play the same 11 all the time. I just feel the partnership of Fernandes and Djiga would give us the best chance of winning the league, just my opinion, but it seems like Djiga and Souttar are not comfortable playing together.
04 Apr 2026 20:53:22
I'd agree, Baracus. π
Quite possible, Angus. π
04 Apr 2026 21:16:13
Typically centre halves come in two varieties, proactive and reactive, and the best centre half pairings over the years are usually made up of a combination of each.
Souttar and Djiga are both proactive defenders, both are instinctively drawn towards the ball, tackles, contact, etc., and aren't as comfortable on the ball.
Fernandez is a reactive defender. He instinctively steps off, reads the game, fills gaps, intercepts, and is comfortable on the ball.
04 Apr 2026 21:50:51
Appreciate the insight, EHL. If you don't mind me asking, who do you believe would be the best centre-back pairing for the remaining fixtures if everyone was fully fit and available?
04 Apr 2026 22:03:55
Manny had a minor knock, apparently, so hopefully sorted for next week, as we need him a Djiga partnership for the rest of the season if we want to win the league.
04 Apr 2026 22:10:55
EHL, that makes sense, so thanks for the explanation.
04 Apr 2026 22:12:38
Think that's rather generous regarding Souttar. Wouldn't say he's proactive or reactive, I'd say he's just a poor defender.
04 Apr 2026 22:36:04
Baracus, probably Fernandez and Cornelius, alongside Sterling and Rommens.
Think Cornelius is the only CH we have who is naturally comfortable on the left handside.
Neither Souttar or Djiga are even remotely comfortable there - Fernandez is actually decent on the leftside, but you lose a bit of his distribution.
04 Apr 2026 22:45:40
I did like the look of Cornelius, even though he was playing in a defence that was all over the place at the time. It's a shame he got injured when he did. Do you think he will get much game time in the remaining games?
04 Apr 2026 23:34:36
Both United's goals could have been stopped with a foul.
05 Apr 2026 01:03:16
Showing my age here, but in response to EHL definitions of CB pairings, the best I can remember is Dave Smith and another DS was as slow as a cart horse, but could read the game brilliantly. What an underrated player.
05 Apr 2026 01:15:06
Ehl, I took on board something u said to me a while back regarding Katic. I may like his attributes in a defender compared to others like Souttar. u showed stats of Souttar being better in almost every aspect, even heading, which surprised me.
Katic is like manny. A reactive last man type player compared to Souttar and Cornelius, maybe like starting play as u call it, proactive.
The stats u showed didn't lie, so you're obviously right. I try to keep that in mind when judging a player since.
What I like as attributes doesn't necessarily mean that player is better than what I don't like as much. Ie. Souttar or Katic
05 Apr 2026 04:31:14
Prefer Souttar to be inactive.
05 Apr 2026 15:42:44
Kasier 100% correct and I agree with that, bb4.
04 Apr 2026 17:36:19
on a positive note, highly rate Morris Ross as a commentator, really enjoy when he's on RTV
Agree2
04 Apr 2026 18:03:59
Are you ok, mate? You seem to be having a fit today? Genuinely asking.
04 Apr 2026 18:30:14
Was thinking the same, just a tad off possibly.
04 Apr 2026 19:32:08
That's why I had asked him Fork numerous posts and ranting, just wanted to check on him.
04 Apr 2026 19:38:38
Something's off, can't put my finger on it yet.
04 Apr 2026 19:52:12
To be fair, he has ranted like this since he came in the forum. He just seems a very angry guy. The guy needs to chill out and stop getting upset about what others say, as he can't change people's minds.
04 Apr 2026 20:54:36
He's a reincarnation of someone. π₯Έ
04 Apr 2026 21:37:58
Was going to say it earlier, Fork, you know who is back. Some of the posts earlier were so obvious. ππ€£
04 Apr 2026 21:55:58
It's either him or a former disgruntled poster, Hils. π
04 Apr 2026 22:04:43
Who do you think, Fork, the old famous Coldo? He did love his Kent pjs, maybe he has Chermiti ones now.
04 Apr 2026 22:12:21
If he could stop the frustration, though, he does make a lot of good points. The place is annoying, and it can be difficult to ignore it often. Glad it isn't just me. π
05 Apr 2026 07:41:58
Said he defended all the Dessers' posts, he had 12 posts up till yesterday, Dessers wasn't here during those posts, he's hiding who he is.
05 Apr 2026 15:43:46
He needs to calm down for his own sake. This place sends you mad if you let it.
05 Apr 2026 15:44:11
Made good points? In whose eyes π? Not mine, just ramblings.
04 Apr 2026 09:33:31
Gentlemen,
I would like to apologize for a few things, in all sincerity.
I apologize for seeming defensive and allowing myself to be wound up.
Sometimes it is difficult to fully understand the tone in the writing and that is my fault.
I also apologize for being combative in the way I have responded on occasion.
Again something I am needing to change.
For those I have argued with, I will try to be less defensive and combative in the future.
As many know I have not always been this way and I hope that I can cease being this way in the future.
For those who cannot move forward or do not wish to move forward then can you please use the ignore function.
It would be better for us all and the site in general.
Agree4
04 Apr 2026 13:14:03
Mate, you aren't the problem on here. Stop apologising, as there is no need to whatsoever. Just keep being you.
04 Apr 2026 13:49:11
Aph, you have no need to apologise. Same with anyone else. Your opinion is your opinion, and you're entitled to defend it.
Knowing the particular people you debated with a lot over the past while, they're big enough and ugly enough and won't have taken offence.
You are all good guys and we move on.
No grudges.
04 Apr 2026 13:17:57
Aph, you are guilty of all you say and probably have too much to say for yourself at times. Much like people that say they are leaving to get attention. Seem to think the forum is all about you.
However It is your prerogative to do so and therefore no need to apologise.
04 Apr 2026 18:33:22
There's ladies here too. βΊοΈπ₯°
I love when people can own their part, take accountability, apologise and seek to learn and grow from it.
Can't say I'm in the know about what's happened and it isn't my business, but kudos to you for your humility and vulnerability. π
04 Apr 2026 18:49:56
Thank you, kind lady.
04 Apr 2026 19:40:17
Talking about ladies. Where's Gersgirl? Not seen her for a bit. π€
04 Apr 2026 19:46:32
I was thinking that, Fork, Gersgirl, if you are looking in, let us know how you are?
04 Apr 2026 09:12:08
Stig what have I done to offend you?
I have just read you stay away from my posts for your own reasons.
Would it not be prudent to use the ignore function so you don't have to see my posts.
Agree2
04 Apr 2026 14:03:47
How many times do you just keep going on about old stuff?
{Ed033's Note - Maybe you should go to the My Profile page and type Aphelion into the 'Ignore posters' text area and tap submit?
04 Apr 2026 14:59:28
Oooft for 33. π Old stuff? You're "new" or have you been on under another name, Penny?
04 Apr 2026 18:04:56
Great response Ed see while yer there do me as well penny.
04 Apr 2026 09:17:40
To the Eds,
First off, you guys do a brilliant job running the site it doesn't go unnoticed.
That said, I do feel the quality of the forum has dipped a bit recently. It feels like there's more bickering and repetitive arguments than there used to be, and it's starting to take away from what made the place enjoyable.
Posters like EHL and many others seem to have taken a step back, and I can't help but think it's maybe for similar reasons it just gets a bit tiresome.
There are still plenty of great contributors here. Angus, for example I wasn't a fan at first, but I've completely changed my view. You bring solid debate and alternative perspectives without ever getting personal.
Kaiserβvery intelligent posts, always constructive and respectful.
BB4βalways a gent, great conversations over time, and really genuine contributions.
Florida Bearβanother brilliant poster.
There are many more I could mention.
But if I'm being honest, for my own sanity, I think I need to step away. I can feel myself getting drawn into things and becoming more argumentative than I'd like, and that's not where I want to be.
So I'm asking could you please suspend or remove my posting access for a few months? I've asked before, but I'm serious this time. It's probably the best thing for me and saves adding to your workload guys.
Appreciate everything you guys do and I really don't want to be adding to this nonsense at times as I know I'm easily drawn in at times.
{Ed033's Note - You "getting drawn into things and becoming more argumentative" is on you isn't it? Ok, i have banned username Thestigno1 for 30 days. Good luck.

04 Apr 2026 09:40:03
I hope u still check in from time to time, mate. I appreciate your kind comment too. Sad to see u step away for a bit, especially as things could be about to get a whole lot better, hopefully. International breaks seem to have a bad effect. But, for your own sanity, if it's getting to you, then totally understand. Haste Ye Back, matey.
04 Apr 2026 10:38:58
Thestigno1, I am sad to read this. I hope you have made the right choice and don't get uptight due to the fact you can't get involved.
On the other hand, it would be great to have you back in 30 days where Rangers are in a position that we can only throw the league away.
Take care, bud.
04 Apr 2026 11:27:01
Take care Stig, I won't miss your long-winded encyclopedic posts right enough, as I get a sore finger scrolling through your wee short posts never mind the big ones. π€£
04 Apr 2026 11:41:42
With Stig leaving, the daily word count will have dropped by 50%. π€ͺ
04 Apr 2026 11:50:44
Sad day when "stiggy boy" walks away, take the 30 days the Ed suggests, recharge and get your archie back on bud, hopefully see you soonππall the best budπ
04 Apr 2026 11:59:10
Very silly in my eyes.
Simply don't post If you didn't want to, no need to ask Ed to bar you. Strange
04 Apr 2026 13:17:15
I agree with that, Stevie. If you want to take a break, just don't post, mate. I like your posts the majority of the time. Just take a break and come back when in a better space. A bet a few wish I would. π
04 Apr 2026 13:19:28
Stig, thanks for the kind words as I often think my posts can lead to those disagreements because I think differently and others react; I do try not to make it or take it personally though.
I would do what I do if I were you and read for a few days/weeks without posting. You see everything in a completely different light without that 'pressure' to reply.
Normally just takes a day or so to recharge batteries and be back on again.
btw, I still remember you telling me off in the early days and still chuckle about it as some of what you said was right. I did try to change my approach because of that although not sure how successful I have been.
haste ye back as they say and hope this isn't the last short Stig post I see. π
04 Apr 2026 13:26:27
Good luck stig I for one will miss your posts always thought you were one of the good ones not out to try pull the wool over people eyes. Hopefully a good win today. And enjoy your Easter Sunday π£
04 Apr 2026 17:56:08
Enjoy your sabatical Stiig, looking forward to your return.
03 Apr 2026 21:38:26
Everybody seems to be watching Chermiti except for a section of our own fans
Are you going to Portsmouth him into what Fernandes is to us now and get confused like you never thought he was going to make it?
If we win the league and gets the 4 to 5 goals against Hearts and Celtic again he's my player of the season by a mile
Agree2
03 Apr 2026 23:08:00
You seem to really be letting this get to you, while at the same time strongly criticising other players in the team as if people have been heralding them like King Raskin as u put it. Even most of those who like Moore agree Β£15m is too much for us, but that value is based on crazy EPL money, not what he's done here. The majority of players have taken stick, just like your man Chermiti, and have deserved it. Have u not seen Skov debates? In fact, when asked recently who was player of the year, most struggled.
And a recent debate was also about the lack of goals from midfield. So don't get too upset that Chermiti gets it too. And u said he's scored more than he's missed, which is sheer nonsense, as he's missed far more than 8 chances this season, and that he scores in the games that matter, so do only 5 games matter? He has to start doing a lot better than he has up till now. Let's just hope he does bang them in for us, and like every other player, they put in their best from now on.
04 Apr 2026 13:18:43
I don't even understand what you are trying to say, Portsmouth? What have they got to do with it? Also, if Chermiti had to score in every game till the end of the season he still wouldn't be player of the season.
04 Apr 2026 13:55:38
Storm - I'm glad you said that, as I am totally bewildered by that post. π

04 Apr 2026 14:41:40
