I might be in the minority on this one but want to keep things in perspective and not let emotion of recent results largely affect my opinion.

The results of late are disappointing & unacceptable but I am willing to be patient. A squad that still needs some work no doubt and I am very confident that will happen. Lack of creativity is a clear issue right now and something that is being addressed in the background - I cannot stress this enough but not every deal is down to us. There are a number of reasons for hold ups - the selling club and the player itself. Transfers aren't always about money.

There will be a lot of outgoings too in the coming weeks potentially even days as the squad begins to re-balance. There are a few in the camp who are half in half out and we need these to be concluded ASAP.

If you believe that's the only reason, then good for you. Terrible decisions across the board in the club have got us where we are. Are supporters who spend thousands supporting their club not allowed to criticise when things are poor, and, let's face it, they've been poor for a long time.

No more change of managers for 18 months minimum for me, unless it's unmanageable.

So what do we do, JFM? Every time we change a manager he wants his own team. Celtic are stable, replace 3 or 4 players and it's much easier to then integrate them. We have a brand new team every year who take weeks to get to know each other and start to show what they are capable of.

We need players who will run into space and team mates that know he is going to run into the space.

What's killing us is that no one knows each other well enough to play to spaces. So we wait until the player makes the space and then it's too late.

BF used to do it well, firing balls into open spaces, demanding forward players ran on to it.

Geesadodothat, I have been saying for a long time we need to give a manager time and stop the revolving door of managers, backroom staff and complete player overalls. But to say the fans are responsible for our position is just wrong imo. Our forwards have no space to run into when our opponent plays deep.

Hibs defended deep for most of that game after the ridiculous penalty decision. There was no space to run into. Board decisions, poor recruitment, no talent being brought through. Many other reasons, but aye, it's all the fans' fault.

With our ongoing merry go round of midfielders in, out, coming or not we still don't seem to be targeting attack minded players. Raskin is still by far our best player in that role and to be honest as much as I like a 50/50 ball winning player like Devlin I personally don't think he is good enough. He does not offer us much going forward and in games like yesterday where we had 70 odd % possession he is not technically good enough.

Playing for Hearts where his roll was ball winning he was busy all the time trying to win the ball back but for us that's not the case. Also we are still vulnerable on the counter and as a defensive mid player he should be all over that protecting the back 4.

As many season's before we get off to a bad start, that lot get off to a flyer, they get confidence, we get nervous. The fans understandably voice their opinions, players start playing safe, the trend continues until the players go in there shell, manager gets sacked, we start again.

Not for one minute am I blaming the fans as the players need to give us something to sing and be proud of, but it is the reality of what's happening. I'm reading that players won't come here because the state of our league etc, that's b.s because our neighbours are attracting the right player's yet again, it's just blatant poor recruitment from us.

How we get out this mess I'll never know. One thing is for sure we badly need a result on Thursday or this could get really ugly, our team needs us, let's show the new boys what we as a fan base are about. I'm as disillusioned as the next guy, but I'm going to choose to support even harder, the love never dies.

Folk that think shankland is going to bang 20/25 goals are dreaming he is clearly unfit overweight and has missed plenty of decent chances. He's got what he wants a decent pay and a chance to play for his boyhood club. Have never been a fan of him always been a mediocre player

He definitely looks unfit and overweight, but I think he always has. His 2nd touch is a tackle to get the ball back after it has bounced off him when he fails to control it.

There is a strange phenomenon when players, and managers stand out, and out perform those at bigger clubs while they are at smaller ones, but as soon as they step up into these bigger clubs, they just fail.
