Sitting twiddling my thumbs thinking to myself how far away we are from mens football with a women manager. can anyone enlighten me to if there is a women managing the mens team or if there isn't how long until there is. 🤣.
11 Jan 2026 22:37:08
I think maybe that club in England that are all vegans or only serve vegan food at the ground and are owned by a kind of wacky guy I think they done it but ahe got sacked.
11 Jan 2026 22:39:41
Did the ex Scotland womens manager not manage a mens team. Shelley Kerr.
11 Jan 2026 23:09:41
Pretty sure Shelly Kerr is involved with Hearts Academy and Hearts B team but not sure if she is manager.
12 Jan 2026 02:03:14
Glasgow bear, are you John swinney or Nicola sturgeon, ( sorry mate, has too get that in there) lol.
12 Jan 2026 07:03:52
Is EHL👀 really Shelley Kerr 👀 then Cooper🤣.
12 Jan 2026 07:38:13
I was beginning to think Matondo would have more appearances than you in 2026 Fork. Good to see you on.
12 Jan 2026 08:15:51
happened in a few clubs in Europe. Aphe is my memory right that Wiegman coached a club in Germany; thought it was mentioned when she took over England.
Forest Green Rovers are the progressive club in UK but that was caretaker and Robbie Savage now their manager.
12 Jan 2026 09:31:07
As long as its only your thumbs you're twiddling.
12 Jan 2026 09:36:04
Lol jfm just popping in and out bud👍.
12 Jan 2026 10:20:24
Or the first women in a men's first 11, or the first government mandate that at least 50% of the playing squad are women….
12 Jan 2026 10:48:02
Angus not to my knowledge my friend.
12 Jan 2026 10:57:03
Sorry just checked and it was Sabrina Wittman who was coach of Ingolstadt in League 3.
12 Jan 2026 13:46:10
Angus, forrest green rovers that's the one.
Caretaker or not is irrelevant to me she managed the men's team full stop.
11 Jan 2026 21:50:15
It's probably been covered but the Fernandez goal for me stands.
Of the goal keeper favourite to get the ball and Fernandez challenged him and struck his arm the way he did then for me it would be a free kick.
However the goal keeper is the one making the "challenge", Fernandez is favourite to win that every time. Both player raise their arms and the keeper comes off 2nd best. For me it's a good goal.
11 Jan 2026 22:05:44
difference is zikos is that the GK is allowed to raise his arms in a challenge. I thought it was a goal at the time and btw so dod the ref. However slowed down Fernandez arms hits the keepers and those always get chalked off. I think it was soft goalkeeping but can see why ref gave it. thankfully didn't affect the result.
12 Jan 2026 06:10:50
Fernandez is coming on well. Pleased for him. Think he's got a lot of development still but can't see anyone taking his place this season.
12 Jan 2026 09:10:53
To be fair he does impede the keepers hand who could have knocked the ball away so yes no goal, if it was Butland we all be screaming for it.
12 Jan 2026 12:19:11
Angus, 100% can see why the VAR intervened, personally I don't agree with it.
12 Jan 2026 15:34:24
zikos, I don't think it was enough for it to be chopped off either, but knew as soon as I saw the playback it would be.
11 Jan 2026 21:42:25
Watergate part 2
Did anyone notice wee nico Raskin walk back out the tunnel as Moore Butland etc were just going in an soaker a sheep fan lol brill pic going in sightings.
11 Jan 2026 20:03:05
What impressed me most today was the togetherness of the players, they all put in a great shift and showed me that they all want to be here and sweat blood for the manager. Special mention for our 2 CBs who held it all together big manny what a goal threat he might make us big money in the future.
11 Jan 2026 19:48:18
Rangers have opened talks with VfL Wolfsburg to sign Andreas Skov Olsen.
11 Jan 2026 19:44:59
I am reading online on instagram page names bleed Rangers that we have opened talks with Wolfsburg and skov Olsen.
11 Jan 2026 20:17:39
Yes Stevie that's why I dropped the name last night my friend. It looks positive at the moment.
11 Jan 2026 21:17:24
Could be a great signing Aphe, things are really looking on the up.
11 Jan 2026 22:09:21
Stevie I think this would be the statement of intent that shows our rivals we are truly back to the party.
11 Jan 2026 19:44:12
Sky sports reporting we've opened talks with Wolfsburg for Olsen.
11 Jan 2026 18:28:34
Anyone see Raskin soaking the fan going down the tunnel?
11 Jan 2026 19:23:13
Thought it was funny, it is only water at the end of the day.
The fan also had a cup that was empty, I was thinking perhaps the fan had emptied said cup on a Rangers player walking in the tunnel that we hadn't seen when the Raskin clip was showed.
Hopefully nothing comes of it but feel the SFA will want to make an example now after the Cerny incident. If they want to throw stuff at the players during the game then they can take a splash of water back. Get it up him.
11 Jan 2026 20:23:38
It was stupid Tav whatever. he actually came back up tunnel to do it. better to report it to police or officials in tunnel and get it dealt with that way.
I would say if they down dealt with it then any player can do it to fans in future.
how long before fans take action if it does. silly really after a great and professional performance in atrocious conditions.
11 Jan 2026 20:44:40
my reaction when the clip was played was that i laughed. If he does get a ban however it may prove to not be the smartest of moves.
still a little bit funny though.
11 Jan 2026 20:49:20
I just thought why did he do it because it won't end well. we are short in MF and could do without him even risking a ban.
no harm done thankfully as the fan was soaked already. It is a dreadful atmosphere anyway and that won't help for next time.
