STV have just posted that six SPFL Board Members have asked that RFC reveal their whistleblower dossier -
Those six members are: Alan Burrows -- Motherwell; Ewen Cameron -- Alloa; Ross McArthur -- Dunfermline; Ken Ferguson -- Brechin; and Peter Davidson -- Montrose

More interesting is the sixth board member -- Stewart Robertson -- RFC.

Our interim Managing Director must be keeping things very close to his chest. I truly get the feeling that was he has must be explosive.

The wheels are going to be coming off for someone (s) and maybe some club.

Very interesting times ahead.

28 Apr 2020 22:25:12
This is untrue. The six do NOT include Robertson, it's Les Gray.

Robertson is the ommission from this letter.

29 Apr 2020 08:13:08
rfcrb1872, you are correct my friend, Stewart was the only person who didn't sign this open letter. I have just posted my thoughts on this on the Banter Page, some will agree with the post, others may not, but it's just my view on things.

29 Apr 2020 10:42:10
I thought les gray was the other one in the letter and request?

29 Apr 2020 12:13:09
I have checked STV post and it states that Stewart Robertson is the sixth.

He has excluded himself, however, from the letter sent to RFC from the SPFL, which include ALL other SPFL Board Members.

29 Apr 2020 14:02:27
Jimmy, no it simply does not. That's the second post in this thread that is utterly untrue. The post clearly says:

"Motherwell chief executive Alan Burrows and Hamilton’s Les Gray, Ewen Cameron of Alloa, Dunfermline’s Ross McArthur, Brechin chairman Ken Ferguson and Peter Davidson of Montrose all signed the letter. The other club representative on the board is Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson. "

SPFL now saying that due to staff shortages during the furlough period some mistakes may have been made by the Board and Executive Team over recent events.

28 Apr 2020 17:16:02
Did they, Aye.

28 Apr 2020 18:17:55
Aye they did. Their statment is bizarre. Basically says they admit errors probably happened but that co fronting it could destroy Scottish football so we should just ignore it.

28 Apr 2020 18:53:29
They also said that if 75% of every division backs an independent inquiry they will spend the clubs money on lawyers fees! Basically they are already trying to use money as a deterrent so clubs don’t vote for, it’s pathetic and there’s no way we’ll get the numbers unless the evidence is unquestionable.

28 Apr 2020 20:15:06
They don't need to use the money as a deternt HighlandBear, we all know how the vote against us went 8 years ago wi these same clubs.

It's all about the anti Rangers clan.

28 Apr 2020 21:04:14
Even at this stage looks like the SPFL pre EGM communication strategy is to:

1. Suggest that staff shortages due to furlough staff not being available may have resulted in sloppy administration and governance practices being adopted over the vote.

2. Highlight that legal and professional costs incurred to defend their governance practices will be deducted from monies valuable to be paid to the membership. This is despite the SPFL having an overhead budget for legal and professional coats.

28 Apr 2020 22:58:19
Half a mill for an independent investigation that could put to bed the biggest issue that is threatening to tear the league apart, which is ironically the same as Doncaster's salary with bonus for a year. What seems better value? 🤔.

29 Apr 2020 10:31:05
Bankie, yip, trying everything to prevent this going further, ', but the good part about it is, we will keep it going, until the corruption is proven, without doubt.

29 Apr 2020 10:43:34
I also thought it was a bit pompous and self righteous "with contrition" and "believe". just weird and desperate.

30 Apr 2020 10:24:33
@Snell Was Doncaster's salary good value in 2012 when he bent over double ("there is no mechanism for what we are trying to achieve") to ensure you lads had a club playing out of iBrox to Support? Parachuted into the Scottish league set up at the expense of a club who actually had earned the right to be there? I didn't hear any moaning from you lads then.

30 Apr 2020 15:15:27
Did you hear any moaning from the small 3rd division clubs who have never had that kind of money before?

28 Apr 2020 15:25:02
Riquelme is back on Rangers radar according to a report via Rangers News.

Swap deal with Morelos?

28 Apr 2020 16:19:48
His contract is up so no swap see u.

28 Apr 2020 16:28:17
He is being quoted as a £26 million player - why are we being linked with that kind of money?

28 Apr 2020 17:38:05
I think expectations of rangers or in fact most clubs signing many players, if any. Is remote until they know what's going to happen regarding the future.

28 Apr 2020 20:52:09
He is a youngster who is out of contract and we want him because he totally destroyed our youth team earlier this season. He was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch. Everything I have saw and read is he is a young attacking player who can play pretty much across the front 3 including no10 role with bags of potential.
Things IMO is the type of young players we should be mixing with our experienced players in our first team.

28 Apr 2020 22:53:34
Bells - u got a spare £26 million?

29 Apr 2020 01:59:37
SUJ he is going out of contract. His current release clause is 26m. Nobody is paying it.

29 Apr 2020 10:32:53
Bellshillad, tho i don't think we will get him signed, he would walk into our first team, were he to sign, i'd imagine that would be included in contract, must play so many first team games, but from what I've seen of this youngster. He would be first team material, straight away.

29 Apr 2020 10:44:52
compete with hagi for game time. add dykes and Brewster. sell alf to finance. sounds good.

28 Apr 2020 11:41:15
Is anyone able to offer any inclination as to who the new kit manufacturer will be?

28 Apr 2020 12:02:06
Coops.

28 Apr 2020 12:09:18
Lets see if we need them first Patmo.

With the way this shambles is going wi that excuse for a SPFL and SFA boards when will we need kits mate.

28 Apr 2020 10:53:03
I see Brenda Rogers seems to be interested in el buffalo not eduard or Griffiths, he seen enough up here to know u don't have to score against the manky mob to be the best, take no less than 12m, get young Shanklin and give him a try and I bet you'll be chanting his names from the roof tops when we win the league next season. And he's Rangers born n bred that counts for a lot, so as wee smelly fifey says, always look on the bright side of life.

28 Apr 2020 12:12:13
Brenda just wants to weaken us against his beloved mhanks in case we beat them Catlander.

28 Apr 2020 12:46:57
He don't want to play in Scotland so even if he stays his head will be elsewhere probably English premier, let him get his red cards down south take the much needed money and young Shankland can do the rest.

28 Apr 2020 13:44:58
Shankland to replace Morelos. Right.

28 Apr 2020 14:01:21
I tried that on football manager, the board were mighty annoyed with me and to be fair, quite rightly. Shanks was pish.
Now I did manage to get a wee guy from South America who only cost 300k and he developed into a world class striker, arezo was his name.

28 Apr 2020 14:57:32
on Daily Record: Rangers linked with 'wee guy from SA called Arezo'.

Seriously, they would.

28 Apr 2020 15:15:46
Who do u suggest replaces him when he goes cause he will go Shankland is proven goalscorer we are no playing in Italy, so in my opinion he will score goals. who would u replace him with covenanter in your opinion.

28 Apr 2020 15:51:58
Charlie austin already basically said come and get me. smash them in up here.

28 Apr 2020 16:09:23
Charlie Austin sure he had a brother Steve cost 6million dollars, be good if we could get him for that price.

28 Apr 2020 17:39:24
I got him as well Cletus! 😁.

28 Apr 2020 17:58:20
Lol Mr grumpy. Real Madrid keep trying to buy him but I'm holding out for 50-60m. Also got broony on a free, got him to mentor Lewis Ferguson from the reserves, which is where he festered until he retired lol. It's the small things that make us happy. Thanks broony, Lewis is turning out world class too.

28 Apr 2020 18:16:17
Had Ferguson as well! We had a falling out, so he got the heave-ho, he's on his arse at Hamilton!

28 Apr 2020 19:11:27
Oatlander, we employ experts to make those decisions, I just go with what I see, and the difference between Morelos and Shankland is like the difference between the sky and the grass. Shankland will never be good enough to take us forward. What do you mean about Italy? Do you mean we should accept mediocrity because we're not in a 'big' league? Do you really believe the boy Shankland would be good enough to play for us in Europe? Have you actually seen him?

29 Apr 2020 10:45:08
rumour is shankland heading south. just saying.

30 Apr 2020 15:15:09
Eric blair, glad to hear that mate, goodbye larry.

02 May 2020 06:44:50
Whether you think shanklands is a good player or not, is each ones opinion. What I'd ask my fellow bears to remember though is, 2 of our highest scoring and very influential strikers came from provincial clubs.
Boyd and Novo.

02 May 2020 09:13:40
I hope the lad does well down south, glad the unwashed haven't snapped him up. If he was working at tescos he'd be on this site with us slagging them off, just saying.
