Hearing today that the stadium reconstruction is expected to run into October. A statement from the club is forthcoming but one further option is being considered (outwith the Murrayfield and Hampden options previously reported) .

Should be a refund of some of the season books. Fans paid for a seat at ibrox not another stadium. Apparently fans don't deserve to be told what's going on share holders are all that matters to people on here.

AllyG72 I was told last night from a solid source that St Johnstone on October 5 could be our first game at Ibrox, but apart from Europe that would mean switching just three games, Motherwell, Ross County and Hibs. Might not be as bad as some are making out.

It is what it is. Construction projects always get delays. The club will play the games and fans will get to see them. No issue just whingeing about things out of control of fans and the club move on and let's talk about football.

Hopefully John or someone can answer my question, I've got told today that after the European qualifiers, we have to name our home staduim. What happens if Ibrox isn't ready do we name Hampden, Murray field or somewhere else. I was told we have to play all our group games there even when Ibrox is up and running. If this is true the board have put players right up against it, we will have lost a big advantage playing our home game at any other ground than Ibrox.

Talking to someone close to the situation. This week is critical on timelines of delivery.
This will determine if its August or first 10 days of September at the latest for the fans being back in.
To put this into context the steel was expected in mid June latest.

Generally know within the construction industry that the principal contractor will be charged L&A damages for every week they are late in handing over the project from the agreed completion date. So if the contract was done thoroughly the delays won’t cost Rangers a penny.
