I was a happy bear when we signed nicky clark from queen of the south several years ago but I have to admit that its not worked out the way I'd hoped, being totally honest here I would sell clark to barnsley as he's out of contract in the summer anyway and at least we would get some sort of fee for him, he's never kicked on to the next level for rangers and imo and I don't take any pleasure in saying that clark isn't the answer and not rangers class.

I more or less agree with W15 - clark was definitely worth buying following his goals scored for qos. - However he needed to step up to the plate following his move to The Rangers and I don't think it has, worked out for him - If a club is making a move for him and we can get a fee then fair play - I won't say anything bad about the player - Let's just wait and see what happens. - I'm sure he tries his best when he is given his chance and still gives the team an option coming off the bench - he proved that just the other week -.

I would like to reiterate all the above posts here, I echo everything you guys have said regarding our striker nicky clark, very hard working pro who undoubtedly plays for the rangers jersey and deserves to be playing first team football with a decent club if not for us, have also met him and he is a first class gentleman with a bubbly character, good luck and all the best nicky where ever you go to ply your trade!

i agree with some of the posts about Nicky Clark, but have to say I think he would have made it with us if Super Ally had given him sufficient game time. Like many others down the years, the boy has been ruined by lack of self confidence caused by constantly being overlooked. I would keep him, but groom him in the role Miller is currently playing.
likewise with Gasparotto, Walsh, Murdoch and Hardie, none of them will ever break through, again because they are NOT getting first team game time with us.

Was also very impressed with Dean Shiels when he came on against Hibs, ran his heart out, didn't waste a ball, and that stunning pass to Nicky Clark was top drawer.

Shiels has always been a good player imo and we'll worth resigning for another term. Nicky Clark is a great lad who always tries his best but I fear he's had his chance and isn't good enough.

Stuzo, they're doing the right thing regarding signing both forrester and gostomski on deals until the end of the season, its called not wasting money as it gives warbs time to see how both settle in and do for the original 6 months and then if all is well they'll offer them longer term contracts which undoubtedly will have been spoken about prior to the both guys signing.

Cammy bell in my opinion was never rangers class at the outset imo and I always thought at the time we signed bell we should have signed ex hearts goalie marian kello instead who was available at the time, at least the big polish keeper gostomski will provide competition for foderingham for the no.1 jersey, I think we should sell cammy bell.

I think the 6 month deals is more for the player than the club. If the are as good as some people think they are, why would they want to risk signing a long term contract and us not get promoted, then they are stuck with us when they could be playing in a better league. But if we get promoted, they can then sign on for longer.

Rangers have moved quickly to agree a deal for former Aston Villa youngster Forrester and the attacking midfielder is set to be the first of several new faces at Ibrox in January. Warburton is a big admirer of Forrester having worked with the player during his time at sporting director at Brentford before he became manager at Griffin Park this wht it says on another site don't know much about him.

bigcog I totally agree, football is getting swallowed up by the PC brigade, Halliday celebrated a goal which won the game from the centre of the park! Ridiculous yellow card, even Alan "get it round the gers" Stubbs agreed he'd be "very Disappointed" if one of his players received a card for that.
Some Refs need to take a serious look at themselves.

Rangers can appeal and defo will appeal, I am sure because the two yellows were for completely different offences that he can appeal, he did not run to the Morton supporters end and do this, he can say he was celebrating the teams goal, or gesturing to our own keeper.
Yes he was a bit peaved off with the Morton guys after the Ibrox game however it would be hard to prove there was any malice in his celebration, we will appeal due to the fact its Falkirk up next.
