Been told tonight by a friend who will go unnamed as they are very well known broadcaster, Beale is gone today after a meeting right enough. No news on who is coming in as of yet but with reports of Potter flying around twitter etc I'd be happy with that appointment, he done great at Brighton but the question is, could he handle the cauldron up here?

Was told late last night that the anmeeting between michael beale and james bisgrove was about certain changes within the structure of our club? Allegedly beale was not in agreement with some of these decisions and has constantly made it clear he doesn't want to work with a sporting director/ director of football above him ? I was told that it's not cut and dried that beale and his backroom team are definitely leaving yet but bisgrove and bennett are going to appoint a sporting director and that's final!
Also they want to see a big improvement in performances and of course results, which has been told to beale in no uncertain terms! Time will tell of course on how everything pans out but our manager and board seem to be apart on these changes to our club structure and that can't go on, as we all need to be singing from the same hymn sheet ?.

His time is up time to go every fan wants him gone we need to win the league and do well in Europe for the club World Cup in the summer to much at stake to keep Beale.

He’s lost the fans completely and has to be removed from the job! Totally out his depth!

That’s a a lot of good info SWS ?

you would have thought thi would have been spoken about prior to his appointment?

I wonder if that’s the way we save money by letting him walk rather being sacked?

That’s interesting stuff Coops and may well lead to MB feeling he should move on.

Nizzy, I don’t believe every fan wants him gone; he does still have some support, albeit a minority. Personally, I would love it if he could turn things around but I’m very much on the fence as to whether we should replace him now or give him another 6-8 weeks. I’m edging towards wanting him replaced, particularly if it’s Potter and Reid but the next management team has to be given a bit of time and latitude. Also, we need to be smarter in getting a good core of young Scottish talent into the squad.

The vast majority of fans have turned against him, and I see no way back for him, which I am glad about. He's not just a bad manager, he's an absolute mess of a manager, devoid of any tactics and knowledge on how to set a team up in our biggest games.
Beale talks a good game, but there it stops. He's a purveyor of BS, whose time is up, now that he's been found out.

Of course we're all entitled to our different opinions but nizzy not all rangers supporters want beale to be gone ?I sit in the copland rear and there's most definitely supporter's in there who want to allow him more time, myself included ?As i've previously stated i would give him until christmas before the window opens again to see where we are, providing he's won the league cup which is an absolute must! Of course he also has to now go on a winning run in the league with a lot of home games coming up, coupled with finding his best 11 pronto and stop this continual chopping and changing ?I think it's total fabrication that beale and his management team have already been sacked and my guess is he'll be given a little more time ?.

I don't think anybody really cares about the league cup tbh. Champions League qualification was a huge blow for Beale, the cash lost to the club is huge. The players brought in have had 9 games now and don't look like they've any idea of what the system is? Losing to Celtic at home was the final nail in the coffin. 9 times out of 10, winning the first OF derby of the season usually wins the league. Losing that game wasn't an option imo.

Someone help me here
David weir worked under Warburton
Was there not bad blood when that came to a sudden end, now possibly weir could b on his way back?

Walter i also sit in the copland rear, was also in the kilie away end, and its the most disrespect I've heard towards a rangers manager since Pedro, i don't even think a couple of solid performances and good results will turn most fans around at this point. Many seemed to have made their mind up after the kilie game and now most have sided with them after psv and the old firm. i'm sure Beales a good training ground coach but i don't think he has it in him to come back from the reaction at Ibrox on Sunday. He's lost too much of the fanbase to have any chance of it working, next drop points amd there will be a full on push to get him out.

11.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 09:42:51
Ive sat through a lot of rubbish at ibrox in the last 10 years but i think most will agree when i say that's the most toxic I've heard the place towards the players and staff at the end last week. Michael Beale winning a league cup won't make the slightest bit of difference if we continue to drop points in the league and lose games heavily in Europe. People know as well as i do that he could win his next 10 games in a row but as soon as he draws or loses one the fans will hound him again. Once you have lost the support the writing is on the wall, its only ending one way here and that's with Beale either walking or being relieved of his duties.

Christmas will be too late SWS. His recruitment and tactics since the summer has been abysmal. Change needed now to save our season and we must do our best to improve our defence in the Jan window. No excuses as we are not good enough defensively.

All the support don’t want Beale gone, not even all of my family want him gone.
Opinions are split and there’s no rite or wrong at the moment as nobody can see into the future, it’s just difference of opinions and who knows what’s going to be for the best.
It makes sense to me that a DoF is required to oversee things especially with the changes being announced regarding the scouting set up.
Nobody is bigger than than the club and if Beale isn’t happy to work with a DoF then he doesn’t have performances to support his argument.

72blue I totally agree re the Scottish players mate. We’ve missed the chance to sign a helluva lot of quality players, I know some on here have said they wouldn’t have came and I’ve no doubt in some cases that’s true, I think in some they would’ve came.
We could’ve had some players from hickey porteous doig ferguson mcginn dykes nisbet shankland and I dare say I’ve missed a few. Some would’ve said no but we never asked the question and imo that’s criminal.
Scottish players should be given preference over foreigners if the talent and price is of similar standard give or take. A mean look at what we’ve brought in instead of these players I’ve mentioned. It’s terrible management by stevie, gio and now mick.

If he stays till Xmas the league will be gone.

Blue

Jeez that's quick even by our standards. News yesterday was his sacking on agenda but not yet decided. Certainly, we all know what we want but don't think definitive decision yet.

Was potter not sacked by Chelsea for not scoring goals and playing slow boring possession football?

20.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 12:29:16
The annoying thing is if we had won the last game then all this chat would be about brendan rodgers. I think its very harsh to be calling for the sack this early. If he messes up further in the next few month fair enough but i have some faith if he is ruthless and stops rotating the team we will benefit. What decent manager is going to want to come work for us knowing he won't get time and probably no money to spend either. Graham potter ain't happening, that's just fantasy stuff.

A few weeks ago everybody saying give the players time etc, does that not include beale? And why not?

21.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 12:40:05
What Manager would be interested in putting their reputation on the line to come to a club knocked into the Europa League Group stages buy a better team, in a League Cup and only 4 points behind the leaders in the league four games into a season after they’ve sacked their recent Manager?
They’d only sign up to that if they can secure a massive early termination fee.

If Beale leaves today, sacked or otherwise, its just been a week wasted as for as I am concerned . He should have been binned last Monday after the OF game and given us an extra week to get a replacement sorted.

23.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 13:06:49
If we won last Sunday it would paper over the cracks.

24.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 13:59:22
I would say it would be as high as 80% want him gone.

25.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 18:10:10
“ If we won last Sunday it would paper over the cracks” - If we beat Celtic and went top of the league Storm would still want Beale sacked ?.

26.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 18:58:24
If we had beaten Celtic we still wouldn`t have topped the league, we would have been second behind Motherwell. Check your facts Verdant, its not that hard.

27.) 10 Sep 2023
10 Sep 2023 19:51:45
If the direction club wants to go is with DOF and first team manager/ head coach and Beale does not want to work under these conditions I am afraid he has to go, but let's be honest he will not get another chance like he has now.

Wouldn't be first time we've went with caretaker in the role.
