I think the majority of players would rather make the move to a top end championship team than Scottish football.
The EPL is the holey grail for most and the Championship offers a better pathway than we do.

The SPL is a poor league and is in need of restructure although I doubt that this would change anything. The only way forward for rangers and Celtic is a move to England. Otherwise we will simply regress further.

Let's be honest here, the boy has got the chance to move to the English championship, to play for a team who were in the mix for promotion to the EPL (and could achieve it next season), who have most likely offered him more money, and there are some wondering why?!

He looked a decent big player, but we move on. This will happen a lot over the next few months and it’s why our club play cards close to chest with in’s and out’s. It’s bad for fans but has to be done.
Personally, I’m liking the profile of player we are apparently after and I’m trusting our new setup to find some rough diamonds.

The players you mention above John are a tier above what we appear to be scouting. Doesn’t make them better players though. but fees, wages and other club awareness def a factor with those names. Def a different market we are looking at. We can’t make as many mistakes this window as we have in previous.
