Windass was never good enough first time around. Looked a decent player in a poor rangers team. For me hagi is an upgrade and few years younger. Think once he settles fully and gains some confidence and consistency he will be a cracking player. Just now I think if windass was to come back he would be behind at least 5 players and we no longer need squad players we must now look at bringing in players that are better than the person holding the starting jersey.

Windlass got his chance . Was finished when stevue directed a shout at him about going fur the ball in training . No imposters he said little jogs here little jogs there . get in and win the ball. The latter was unfortunately a trait of joshes.

I'd take Ryan gauld. any1 says he's crap, least go look at his stats first. as was a few weeks ago he was in top 3 stats in Portugal and captain of his team which is fighting relegation. as we know portugese football is a much much higher standard than the spl with players worth 50m and above.

Windass had 18 goals in a season last time he played for us as a midfielder I think people just dislike him he was playing in a worse rangers team at the time and still managed they stats so he’s obv not a bad player.

Gerrard has repeatedly said that each transfer window we need to increase the quality of our squad. Bringing back any of our ex-players would consequently be a massive step backwards. Wilson's job this summer will be to maximise our income from selling off failures and at the same time bringing in a higher standard of player than was signed last summer.
