All of these mad rumours about Morelos sound ‘exciting’ and everyone loves a good tall tale, however I believe the truth is a bit less interesting but still just as annoying. He’s pretty much working his ticket. He wants to go, has downed tools and gone in a huff. As is being reported he was made aware he was going to be dropped For Saturday as it was felt he wasn’t applying himself, took a major strop and asked not to be part of the match day squad at all. Which as a supposed professional footballer is shocking behaviour, whether he wants to be playing elsewhere or not (which clearly he does) .
In the past I’ve always liked Morelos as despite being a bit of a nutter he does have ability and the potential, if and when he applies himself, to be almost unplayable. We all saw that during the first half of last season. Unfortunately his ‘demons’ have finally gotten the better of him and it’ll be best for everyone if he quickly moves on now.

Heard a rumor today that Morelos was dropped from the squad yesterday for something to do with having clipped Arfield and Davis cars with his and when asked to pay for the repairs he said no has anyone else heard anything like this or is it bullsh**t basically what I heard is below

Morelos crashed into Jack and Artfield's car at the training ground then drove away.

They checked CCTV and found out it was Morelos. SG asked Tav to speak to Morelos about it and told him to pay for the repairs. He refused to pay.

Artfield and Davis went to SG to complain about it and outline their concerns regarding the disruption and impact his attitude is having on the dressing room and to get shot of him.

On Friday Morelos' agent arrived at Ibrox and told SG that they either pay him ×3 his wages or let him go. SG has told him to get to f**k and get him a club out of here.

I find it bizarre how many stories are circulating about Morelos and I can’t seem to find anything to back up any of these rumours and I don't know if the people on here are making them up or just repeating them but I find it absurd! All these rumours are doing nothing for the reputation of the player or the club for that matter and if we’re seriously trying to move him on making him out to be the problem child from hell ain’t doing anything for his value. Reading this morning that leeds utd will ramp up their efforts for ryan kent, with a bid of £14million, in the hope of doing business with rangers and signing their long-term target Kent🤔 Personally, i think rangers although most definitely don't want to sell kent, would be looking at a wee bit more than £14million, just to get us to even contemplate selling our best player 🤔 I really do hope we can keep kent, as for me its in all probability, the difference of winning the league, or not 🙏.

Kent is a good player but he’s certainly replaceable. The worry is will the replacement hit the ground running
. Unlikely I think. If Leeds are in trouble come January they might come back with a bigger offer we can’t refuse. I‘d certainly hold onto him BUT on the understanding regardless of the money on offer he stays for the season. If the board have a figure that changes that then insist on it now and make it clear it’s not happening in January. I’d rather get someone in now than January if you get me drift. I’m more worried Barasic departs.

Whilst I do believe every player has a price they will need to come in higher than that for us to even consider selling.
Personally I don't want to sell him but money talks and its the only way we can make decent money these days so I won't be surprised if he does go before the end of the transfer window which would seriously dent our title hopes, depending who we would replace him with I suppose.

I too hope Kent stays with us for this season but one man does not make a team. Our defence has proved to be much better so far, no goals conceded in five league games plus only the 1-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen. The defence could in fact be the difference between winning the league or not.

I don’t know anything about our financial position but 14mil maybe with a cheeky wee sell on is good business for the club, clear the rest of what we owe and pays for the 2 strikers we brought in, kinda need to start doing that with boys rather than keep them too long and have to pay off there contracts or get peanuts for them. Really like Kent (on his day) but also feel that there are other players out there that could do the same job. I don’t know who they are but we have been linked with loads of wingers lately that have the potential, if we were to sell we would need to buy some1 in. As for me jones, Murphy etc are squad players and not starters.

Totally agree Section Red. We can't start selling players now if we are to have a real chance of winning the title. Surely the Board/ investors can reassure SG that no players will be sold until the end of the season? Exception might be Morelos if he continues to sulk and be disinterested. That money (maybe £20m) might keep the Board happy for now. I hear that Celtic weren't that good against the Arabs yesterday (my son watched the match - he is a Dundee Utd fan! ) and were rather lucky to win, so I don't think it is beyond Rangers to win the title this time.
