Hearing news that due to the revamping of the Copland Stand overrunning that we will be starting the season playing home games at Murrayfield.

I've heard similar but the full season at Hampden. We would need special permission from the league board to play home games at 2 different stadiums. After taking them to court recently I can see zero chance of that.

Someone needs to get the chop for this! Option to Murrayfield - Costs to fans. How do they allocate season tickets? Potential to drop points, exit Champions League all because some idiot didn’t do their job right. Although given assurances I would expect Rangers not to pick up any costa . Gal77, it's that’s the case and it's the full season. We would be as well getting the broamloan upgrade done now as well as the screens in the corners away and seats put in there and reopen next season with it all done then.

Posted about this a couple of weeks ago, however they didn't allow my post, its been known inside ibrox for weeks, the games are definitely at murrayfield, I wonder if bisgrove jumped before he was pushed as this is a shambles, the club need to start being more honest with the fans.

Bennett not a happy camper and rightly so. However the material should have been ordered months in advance. Poor planning by either the club or the contractor.
I know how these delays can occur due to the issues I have at work with lead times and deliveries from the Far East.
It’s embarrassing and obviously the club didn’t have a contingency plan in place.
Murrayfield will not be cheap but hopefully that’s offset if we can sell the 64k capacity.

Aye it is rangers fault there will be someone project managing the job and they should not of allowed the firm to start the work until all materials where available . it should of stated that the company need to have all materials prepared and stored within a hours drive from Glasgow. Hope they had a delay clause in the contract as this could cost us millions.

Shipping especially from far east can be held up months for a million reasons, usually arguments about tax on materials, seen container ships sitting at sea for weeks on end doing nothing, it was probably made before and ordered well in advance but rubbish happens, be more worried about bother at the Man U game and murryfield telling us to do one for the champ league qualifiers.

Sxmcr seriously! Do you think our fans only come from Glasgow I’m sure there are plenty of good rangers followers in Edinburgh and further with travel infrastructure Edinburgh might be just as good an option for a lot of rangers fans and not just you.
Might give some young kids that don’t normally get a chance to go go to their first game or a chance for the fans who travel through all the time an easier day.
