Motherwells Stephen Mcmanus on the radar should all efforts for loan CB fall through. A £250k bid will see this transaction closed out.

I doubt this will happen although I hate to say it but if it was a choice of go with what we have or take him I would take him.

3.) 30 Aug 2016 10:29:25
absolute crap.

Anybody else of the opinion that yesterday's Callaway day at Ibrox may be forerunner to some form of sponsorship deal?

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) 12 Jul 2016 11:47:14
they do target comps an all diff golf events etc every open were ever it played prob just in glasgow yesterday biggest town from troon an promote the open.

2.) 12 Jul 2016 12:21:26
extremely unlikely.

3.) 12 Jul 2016 13:16:09
callaway I think they stick to golf deals mate just a wee tourne.

4.) 12 Jul 2016 15:14:56
Probably got something to do with the golf day when you can play with the players.

5.) 12 Jul 2016 23:41:22
Well there must be money in it some way or another.

With Barton at the club he brings with him Martketability we may begin to see a bit more of these sorts of events to since we aren't making money from our retail we need to think outside of the box.

Yes I believe we will try for some sort of sponsorship but until the retail deal is sorted it won't be anywhere near the kit. Maybe Ibrox, the website or something along those lines.

6.) 12 Jul 2016 23:41:00
There's always room for sponsoring or investment that will all come back especially when we r back in the champions league.

7.) 12 Jul 2016 23:36:28
Callaway will be our next sponsor. They have decided to give up on golf and have targeted the lucrative Scottish football market. Apparently they will give us a 1billion per season deal.

Seriously, golf company, the open, ibrox just being used as a venue, nothing more in it than that.

8.) 13 Jul 2016 12:32:20
well said mr nice lol this was booked as an event at ibrox more than a year ago can't remember where I saw it but callaway will not be sponsoring us lol .

I do think our next sponsor will be a big one with a record breaking deal for the club after the 330 million people that watched us play the smeltic aff the park.

17 Jan 2016 16:35:30
Oduwa, gone back to spurs, loan ended.

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) 17 Jan 2016 16:45:27
Michael O`Halloran our new number 10.

Welcome to the biggest and greatest club in Scotland.

2.) 17 Jan 2016 16:59:40
Still Not Official Bud.

3.) 17 Jan 2016 17:08:47
All the criticism about the signing of O`Halloran means nothing.

Would rather have him than Oduwa, without any shadow of doubt.

Warburton will get the best players he can who can impact the SPFL next season.

Diagouraga and O`Halloran are top six premier league players. No one can argue with that.

4.) 17 Jan 2016 18:12:49
Would like to wish the lad every success in the rest of his career, I know it didn't pan out great for him here but I guarantee the memories of playing for the mighty Rangers will stay with him forever, once Ger always a Ger, good luck young man.

5.) 17 Jan 2016 21:15:00
Sotonbear, I totally echo your comments and would like to also wish nathan oduwa all the very best from the greatest football club in the world, the rangers family!

6.) 17 Jan 2016 22:03:26
I know I will prob get slated but I'm not that impressed with Zelalem, just don't think there's an end product to him, you will get the odd bit of magic, but I think he slows our attacking style of play down whenever he gets the ball .

7.) 18 Jan 2016 10:52:44
I would agree, Zelalem is far too soft. He bottles it when guys come near him.

08 Dec 2014 01:45:49
Ashley and co to give McCoist an ultimatum, either change your back room team or your out. Look for old hands like Jeffries and Jimmy Nichol, to be in the frame as replacements for current backroom staff. The board still see McCoist as the last resort to keep the dwindling support on side.

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) No chance. No manager would allow others to pick their background team

2.) My best pal is the captain of Dunfermline and says there's no chance of his manager leaving them as this rumour is pure and utter garbage

3.) My mate blah, blah, blah, I posted a roomer believe it or not, let's see how it pans out over the comming weeks.

08 Aug 2014 17:30:10
Gers looking to do a trial short term pay as you play deal with James McFadden

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) Well at least he's in Ally's preferred age group lol

2.) 08 Aug 2014 22:56:59
you have to wonder ed if some people on this site are demented or just stupid with their comments and rumours. there is absolutely no way on this planet would mcfadden play for rangers he would be disowned by his family if he did and I should know as he was brought up in the same street as me in springburn and also know him personally. so think that is that rumour safely tucked away in the not true drawer

3.) He just signed a new contract with Motherwell a few weeks back

4.) If rangers offered him a contract he wouldn't knock it back that's for sure, the offers are not exactly flooding in for him

5.) 09 Aug 2014 01:34:35
just to set the record straight, I also know him and I drink with his pals in Thomsons in Springburn, he Would sign for Rangers and he has spoke to his dad about that many times as Walter asked him some time ago, his family are big sellik fans as is James, but he is a professional football player,, we have had quite a few sellik fans in our colours as have them had Gers fans, Miller etc, altho I don't believe the rumour

6.) Sorry guys my source for this is foreign, and he got mixed up with old firm teams he meant to tell me it was our rivals who were intrested in Mc Fadden

7.) Worst rumour ever!

8.) Well, that's cheered me up a tad. lol

I live out in Canada and can't pick up radio Scotland or Clyde this season the feeds are all blocked. any suggestions as to how i can solve this.

thanks in advance

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) 24 Sep 2016 17:00:49
If you are trying to watch the game tomorrow then either use rangerstv or Vipleague. mobi but I don't have any idea about the feed issue?

2.) 24 Sep 2016 17:48:39
Use a vpn and set your location to the uk and it will work fine. I wrote an in depth guide on here before but it will be in the archives, not the best designed website to be fair.

3.) 24 Sep 2016 21:13:00
Give the club £5 a month and do your bit for the club Rangers tv.

29 Dec 2015 19:20:34
Hopefully I am wrong but i reckon we could get hammered if the singing during the Hibs game turns up in the match delegates report. I would not put it by the SFA to impose a deferred points deduction which will be activated should a further breach occur during the remainder of the season.

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) 29 Dec 2015 21:53:54
Aye it looks like it will be included in the rep's report. God knows how they'll hammer us. I'm sure it will be costly one way or another. It's a pity because it will take some of the shine of the victory. Haven't exactly heard a media clamour asking for retrospective action against Fyvie.

2.) 29 Dec 2015 22:58:48
You know that they will look for anything to drag us down get it right on the pitch and they will do us for stuff off of it it's time to leave all the crap in the past as an ex soldier who has patrolled the streets through the troubles it makes me angry when I see or hear idiots shouting their mouth off about things that if it was happening in this country they would move and for those who say they are loyalist to the Crown why did they not sign up i did and the one thing I learned was it's a old of crap that just causes monumental trouble that isn't worth it life is too short we don't need it our club has been through enough we don't need any more shit for a few wee dafties that don't know what they are talking about and may only go to football to project this voice of ignorance with no understanding of the thing they are shouting about and probably less about football too let's stamp it out we the majority of rangers supporters that don't want this have to make it clear to the idiots we don't want it as it has no place anywhere I would have loved to see them volunteer to do top cover or patrol after closing time during the troubles they would shit it because it's one thing acting hard when there is 50,000 between you and the opposition different when there is just a fire team or a section of 8 against a few hundred when the pubs close.

3.) 30 Dec 2015 08:33:03
well said gary75.

4.) 30 Dec 2015 12:11:49
Too many people hoping for punishment so they can play that worn out victim card they love so much.
Nothing will be done as in the past, because, unlike UEFA, the authorities in Scotland don't have it in the rule book if the club has taken measures to prevent it.

5.) 30 Dec 2015 14:13:45
Don't bet on it. The authorities here like to set precedents using Rangers.

6.) 30 Dec 2015 22:45:20
The singing would not have been an issue if hibs had won the game.

16 Sep 2015 22:39:56
Apparently Rangers are not included in the FIFA 2016 video game, statement was issued indicating that the makers of the game could not agree on a licensing deal with the Gers for the 2016 version of the game. Does Ashley own the licensing rights to the Rangers name?.

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) 17 Sep 2015 09:27:25
Just had a look at the teams for fifa 16 no ranger's in the rest of the world team list

2.) 17 Sep 2015 09:44:37
He got the rights to the crest so yes i would imagine the name

3.) 17 Sep 2015 13:03:52
No he's got security of the crest and licensing rights he doesn't own them so doubt he could stop this

4.) 17 Sep 2015 02:33:39
It seems so, probably has the trademark & not one journalist asks DK on retail that the corpulent one has all but sewn up!

5.) 18 Sep 2015 12:29:26
The bear82. I doubt Ashley has a say on this matter, as if he did he would have allowed it, cause he would have made money from it, IMO there's a lot more ready to come out in the wash lads.lets get this court case out of the way then we can really turn our attention on 'Liparous' Mike.

6.) 18 Sep 2015 18:11:35
No licence due to Mr Ashley owning the Trademark & no deal was done. That's the price of selling your soul. Remember The Devil is in the Retail.

7.) 18 Sep 2015 23:45:39
Hearts are in it with the other 11 AUTHENTIC clubs! A direct quote from EA Sports & your not in the game! Lol

8.) 19 Sep 2015 00:54:03
Steffantos completely wrong again, Ashley only loaned us money, but straight away gave us back the use of our lot, for free, he only wants his 5 million back, maybe you should do a bit of research before posting these phantom stories of yours, it could save you a lot of embaressment, ohh and I am willing to wager whatever you choose to prove I me in the right, and your wrong again and again, cause most of the things you post on here are wrong, legally wrong.

9.) 19 Sep 2015 01:04:25
Steffanos I must amend my last type, Ashley sold the rights to the club badge back to ranger, right away, look around before you suggest stupid typos.

10.) 19 Sep 2015 11:38:26
Steff Ashley sold the rights to the badge back to the club when he bought them, looking around before you type such fantasies.

03 Jun 2015 11:48:43
I have just read that Stuart Baxter has left South African champions Kaizer Chiefs. Surely he is not on kings radar?

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) 03 Jun 2015 12:44:27
he left due to tensions between him and the board. nothing to do with us

2.) 03 Jun 2015 13:50:30
Please let it be him

05 Apr 2015 03:06:26
Well fellow bears who is rushing out to buy the Marco Negri book, Moody Blue?. Another chancer trying to cash in on the gers, would it not be nice if he donated some of the royalties to one of the fans funds?

Ted_Jons Pal

1.) 05 Apr 2015 04:19:47
No and no!

2.) 05 Apr 2015 08:35:06
He's entitled to write what ever he wants like every other footballer that has writ a book!

3.) 05 Apr 2015 09:38:04
I am too tight, but it wouldn't interest me anyway. Another journeyman.

4.) 05 Apr 2015 15:49:11
KeyerSoze- great name by the way. I seem to remember that "journeyman" scoring 5 goals in a game against United. If he was a journeyman what does that make McCoist's warriors who lost three games on the trot to United?

5.) 05 Apr 2015 18:03:38
Bigger journeymen?

6.) 05 Apr 2015 20:34:55
Marco negri is a very nice gent! Met him many times lovely guy! What a finisher.

7.) 05 Apr 2015 21:59:09
Fair enough!

The deal may well be sorted out now, however my point is, either way Bell never got or will get any pay off from Gers for signing for them.

Not a done deal yet. Rangers are not going to give him a pay off if he goes to Dundee united, either they pay a fee (as he is under contract for a further year) or he terminates his contract and Utd to pay any monies he is due from Rangers.

They have made a formal request for title stripping at the request of their ex-players who feel they lost out on medals during the EBT years.

When it comes down to making a decision on who becomes manager the board will have to consider the impact on season tickets, I have no doubt sales will fall pretty significantly from this past season. Would keeping McCall in position or bringing in Butcher boost season ticket sales? I don’t think so. It has to be a fresh approach with no jobs for the boys nonsense.

I loved that show and I even got a man from Uncle car from santa that had the wee guy firing the gun out the window, oohh the days when the Gers were just a footie team that played at 3 pm on a saturday we would get the result on the trani (before it was a bad word) and a chippie dinner hidding behind the couch with ma wee sister when doctor and the daleks who came on at 5. Those were the days
