Surely 500k for moult is worth a go. His goal at the weekend is worth it alone. I know one swallow doesn't make a summer but he is tried and tested in the PL and would give us another option up top.

Couldn't agree more has scored a few goals in the league and gave the Celtic defence all sorts of problems last season. At £500k not much of a risk

he's a proven goal scorer, still young and he attacks crosses in the box and would give us another physical option with goals in case herrera doesn't get up to speed or if morelos got injured
wonder if levein's appointment as manager will allow walker to move now. CL knows more than most walker won't sign a new deal and can sign a pre-contract in Jan so surely accepting 600k would make sense

IMO all of Pedros signings other than Dalcio and Pena have shown promise.
Cardoso looks like a solid CH who can only get better. Candieas is providing and Herrera got off the mark against County and hopefully he will kick on.
Dorrans. Jack. Morelos. Alves. All have pass marks and I think the more this Team play the better they will get. We just need to find the formation that suits the Team being fielded.
Think that bringing Walker in will really strengthen the Left Wing and also having another Player who like Dorrans and Jack knows what its all about playing for this Club. I honestly think that we will see his form improve at Rangers.

If we never wasted nearly 5mil (approx) on herrera and pena we could have walker moult mclean naismith. We would be in a much better position as a team. Just think pena and krancjar are supposed to be our midfield playmakers, can't get 90 mins between them. Granted herrera scored against the bottom side but I remember sebo scored against chelsea. Just saying

What do people reckon we are trying do to achieve with this man city boy on loan as till the 1st of Jan, Celtic get plastic paddy for 2 years and our deal is for 5 months if Allen thinks he's good anuff for us then get on on the 2 year option or even the year, or maybe it's city not trusting us to have him for a year just seems bizzare these kinda deals are for lower league football in my opinion.

The boys contract is up end of season, so he will be sent up here for them to see if he's worth keeping and if not he will be up for sale and I would imagine mark allen will have first dibs on him if he's released. I hate loan deals for youngsters we have our own and never use it them.

I don't like the idea of our manager scooting of to Portugal for some course or other during the last 3 days of the transfer window and just leaving the transfers to our DOF.
I believe he should be here working on this until we have everyone over the line that he wants.
How many times have you heard a player say that it was the manager's vision for a club that convinces them! That's how we got Amo and Laudrup!

Is that not the point of this DoF to deal with transfers, brokering deals, and put a scouting system and youth structure in place, whilst Pedro can fully focus on the current 1st team players, making them the best that they can be? Besides, he's not just going on a Jolly back to Portugal, he's got a Uni Course to complete, these things are usually timetabled, so if its something he can squeeze in during the international break, and it benefits him and the team then so what.
I don't think any player has truly been bought by a "managers vision" That's just BS that they say to gullible journo's instead of saying "I'm here cause am paid to be here" The majority of legendary players that signed for us was down to the clubs stature and regular European football and the payslips. The love of the club comes later.

Maybe the 'university course' is a cover? For all we know he could actually be going to try and tie up a deal or two, but doesn't want to answer our media's stupid questions about it, so he's come up with the course as a smokescreen of sorts.
I am also pretty certain that if his trip has nothing to do with Rangers, he will have told Allen exactly who he wants to bring in and left it in his hands to go and tie the deals up. That is part of Allen's job as well after all.

The manager doesn't do the negotiations. He will have told the DOF who he would like and will hope that he can get the deals over the line.

I know we can be in communication with him. I'm also all for him improving himself and therefore the club too. It's just the timing of this.
I am not one of the anti-Pedro crowd. I would just like all hands to the pump as it were if we are trying to bring people in. I don't think that is in anyway ridiculous!

Mate we won 3-1 against ross county and we looked shaky, this team isn't anywhere near ready to challenge for 1st. I still think we should have took mcleish when we had the chance. No be long till xmas and we might have a new manager.

In a long while I'd say good result.
Players will settle given time got a bit nervy at times but it was to be expected with what was riding on the game.
Personally I'm happy with direction we are taking to early to talk about changing manager 4 games into the league,
All teams were shaky this weekend got a feeling it's going to be a bit more competitive this season.
I really like Pedro strong character who defends his club I personally hope He gets a chance to develop this team

Right on cue fod steps in with his scathing attack fact is 1st half we controlled the game 2nd they pumped high ball after high ball in which we dealt with not too bad we were guilty of poor ball retention but in the last 2-3 seasons we would probs have crumbled give the players some bloody credit

Think Cardoso was a steal for around £1m. He will only get better with games. Still adapting to the style but showing promise. He will get use to the constant areal threat from route 1. Big Bruno as a mentor, it's win win all day long.

Still doesn't convince me, I think pena is going to be a waste of time and like I've stated before, I hope in proven wrong but there is more to this guy being left out all the time than wr are getting told about. Still at least he's no jumpin in the kelvin like a complete bell end.

Fod would say there's more positives than negatives coming from the team in the league anyway this year more than others bad decision again us hibs game cost us then hearts game we played good football just end product which was first game had that problem even tho we're only few games in think the players are getting too know one another some aren't even speaking English yet but all the talk coming from the players before and after games is they are enjoying it so something right must be happening think once everyone's up to speed we will be a really good team, if Pena dosnt work out will recoup some of the money spent from Mexican team and reinvest in squad which shouldn't happen considering the money spent on him but these things happen in football at least give the guy a chance to prove his ability on the park before gudging him.

I thought we dominated game until they scored. we saw the game out quite well compared to Motherwell game. Hopefully get a few additions to the squad but feeling a bit more confident for the season.

Ugly win yesterday - great to have 3 points though My thoughts are:
Much work to do - Ross County, bottom of league, dominated 30 mins of 2nd half
Our fitness and strength conditioning needs significantly improved
Bruno is immense
We need a leader on the park - 2nd half lacked leadership in mid field
Sutton is supposed to be neutral- what a complete tosser.

Have to say that I thought we were all over them for the first 45 minutes and should have been 3 or 4 up at half time.
2nd half we were under the cosh a fair bit but I never thought we were in danger of losing the match.

It' was ridiculous for him to ask that question had nothing to do with the game and he just seems obsessed with that Pedro statement about the best quad. Pedro said that as in every club he works for he believes there the best it's a confidence thing he likes to put into his squad of players it doesn't mean he thinks player for player he has the best squad but everybody knows that ever Sutton he is not stupid so to ask that question he was clearly trying to make Pedro look stupid he knows full well like the rest of us what Pedro means with that statement. They guy is a total ass hole I hope Pedro ripes into him next time they do an interview after the match like that.

Andrew Davies has avoided getting sent off in every game we have played them including last year and today. Some of his moves are straight out the rugby super league. Congratulations to him for getting away with it, he would have been great in Italy back in the day where elbows flew and grappling in the box was mandatory. He definitely boxes clever to his adavantage. Unfortunately this is football not UFC.

Does anyone else think that Niko should only be used sparingly like home games at Ibrox were we might struggle to break teams down? Games like yesterday with a tight pitch just don't suit him, he wants to play at his own tempo when it just can't be done in that enviornment. It was actually embarassing the way he tried to grab the ball when the County player disposessed him in the lead up to there goal

id like to see us move to a midfield 3 unless we can get a proper left winger in to play in this 4-4-2 system. Kenny miller is also playing too deep in that 4-4-2 system.
happy with morelos though, he looks a good player, jury still out on pena and herera but all the other signings have looked good so far.
hopefully get a couple of attacking players in before the deadline to fill out the squad. walker and moult would be ideal.
