Any news on the extent of Alfie's injury yet?
1.) 05 Apr 2022 17:08:25
Out till next season.
2.) 05 Apr 2022 17:36:46
Not returning until pre season he had an operation on his thigh.
3.) 05 Apr 2022 18:06:57
Yep he was operated on Friday.
4.) 05 Apr 2022 19:46:50
Don't even know why Morelos went to Columbia or why they even selected him as he never even gets a game seems he goes to make up the numbers.
5.) 06 Apr 2022 13:42:50
Bears den yes exactly that, makes up the numbers, 23 allowed.
No different Jack and previously McLaughlin.
6.) 06 Apr 2022 20:11:04
Its funny why the club say he picked up his injury whilst on international duty. he clearly picked it up vs Red star then played the next game strapped up and needed ice on his thigh after getting subbed.
7.) 06 Apr 2022 21:33:50
Out for the season.

Congratulations to the SPFL hierarchy for somehow managing to have us play at Parkhead potentially between two semi finals in the Europa League. You really couldn't make it up 🤣🤣.
1.) 11 Apr 2022 18:50:59
Let’s be honest, it doesn’t really matter does it.
2.) 11 Apr 2022 18:55:31
What do you want them to do? It was always going to be 1st or 2nd game. If we are fortunate enough to get through to the semi, we should just be grateful.
3.) 11 Apr 2022 18:57:45
Was always going to be 1st or 2nd game of split. That way you won't have potential chaos of league decider for that game.
4.) 11 Apr 2022 19:04:00
Keeps us on our toes I'd rather play them then than cannon fodder as it sets us up better.
5.) 11 Apr 2022 21:46:06
My point is that if we were fortunate enough to make it to the semi finals of Europa League then you would hope that the SPFL hierarchy would try to avoid a potentially difficult and exhausting game in between. If say, they beat Ross County and we drop something against Motherwell then they will have the chance to clinch the title against us, three days after a Europa semi. If, on the other hand it was the first game after the split we would at least have a slight less hectic challenge thereafter and could rest players between the Europa semis. I reckon Doncaster and McLennon will be well chuffed with this outcome, after all they would probably love the chance for the Cinch title to be won against the team that rejected Cinch in the first place.
6.) 11 Apr 2022 22:10:47
You have to be at the wind up. No worries.
7.) 11 Apr 2022 22:25:23
On the plus side, the earlier the better if we were to have a glimmer of hope, rather get them back to 3 points early after the split.
8.) 12 Apr 2022 23:11:26
Alloa, my point is that we should've played them first game after the split.
04 Apr 2022 10:00:32
Has there been any update on the extent of Alfie's injury?
04 Mar 2022 07:54:22
I know this planned tournament in Sydney has split opinion with the supporters but can't seem to recall as much of a hue and cry when both teams participated in the Lyon tournament a couple of years back. Maybe this is being looked at from the wrong angle. If the ill feeling is due to their silly refusal to acknowledge the continuity of Rangers as a club then, maybe, playing in a tournament that the Aussies will market as the Old Firm will be a slap in the face to them and their foaming at the mouth supporters. Does anyone really think the Aussies will refer to it as the "Ange Tournament"? Especially if his team don't win the league? For what it's worth I wasn't too keen when it was announced but I can see some merit and benefits in taking part. Might we be in danger of making it more about them than us?
1.) 04 Mar 2022 08:35:18
I’m off the same opinion as you R B 55 but can anyone tell us how much they are getting for taking part?
2.) 04 Mar 2022 08:49:12
I’d be surprised if they were making more money than us for taking part. Could the added exposure also give Rangers more marketing opportunity in Australia and New Zealand? Did we not have a previous connection with a team in Sydney, which could be reignited?
3.) 04 Mar 2022 08:53:36
Read the room, Renfrew. I believe the vast majority of fans are against this, and I'm sure they're going to make their feelings known on Saturday. I was so looking forward to Saturday at Ibrox, but I fear this is going to overshadow the celebrations and the game. Also, It was interesting to read what Dave King thinks of it. I'm sure posters on here know my feelings towards the current board, and it's well documented King isn't a fan either, but when you think about how detached they've become from the fans, it's no wonder fans are turning against them. I'm all for making money, but It just doesn't sit right with me that this involves that lot. The same lot that wanted us dead. The same lot who put the boot in continously through our darkest of days. The same lot who said we are not the same club, and continue to hold a grudge over us. The same club who deny the existence of the "old firm", and refer to the game as the Glasgow derby (from their official press office) . That mob would probably eat their own jimmy white than want to be associated with us. Their reason for the game, much like our board, is money.
Our board are becoming more detached from the ones like us who are the life blood of the club. Us fans are lucky If we're even an afterthought nowadays. It's not even the fans! What about the club legends they have banned because of ties they have with Dave King, or that they wouldn't conform to the current board's way of thinking?! -
Derek Johnstone - Club legend, Hall of famer and long-term ambassador - Banned!
Mark Hatley - club legend, 9iar legend, Hall of famer and club ambassador - Banned!
Richard Gough - legendary captain during our 9iar years, Hall of famer and club ambassador - Banned!
Not only does the current board not give a toss about the fans, they're quite happy to discard our heros and how they are our history and cornerstone to some of our greatest achievements. Well, let me tell you, DJ, Big Hatley, and Richard Gough, are, and always will be, legends long after the likes of the Park's, Robertson, Bisgrove etc al are long gone! I think the board have royaly screwed up here, and it's going to be very interesting to see how they respond. The majority of the fans, David Edgar with other fan media outlets, our ex chairman and many more are watching closely to see how this plays out.
4.) 04 Mar 2022 09:31:04
BMGH so where do you think we would be at present if board where not putting there own money in, I agree players mentioned will be long remembered after current board have moved on, don't forget King has his own agenda going on against some of current board, if we want better team we have to look at all possibilities of raising revenue, don't see why everyone is getting so upset over a game of football,
5.) 04 Mar 2022 09:38:41
BMGH01, watch you don’t get in the way of that scatter gun eh. Dave King’s contributions should never be forgotten but did he bail out to concentrate on other his other businesses or not? Is he still trying to offload his shares? Did Stevie G leave because the Board didn’t back him or because he was let down in CL qualifiers by the same players he badgered the Board not to sell? Bisgrove has been given plaudits for increasing marketing revenue and rightly so. Now he’s a target for doing his job. Do we really believe Celtic have come up with an idea and our Board have just danced to their tune? The irony is that their fundamental Celtic DA’s and Green Brigade are frothing and we’re looking as bad as them. If we don’t want anything to do with them then let’s all agree not to take any tickets for Cup games because the proceeds will be split eh?
6.) 04 Mar 2022 09:42:07
I'm totally with BMGH01 on this and would have dave king back on board in a heartbeat ðŸ™.
7.) 04 Mar 2022 09:44:11
As I said Gers58, I'm all for raising money, but not when that lot are involved. If you're for it, fantastic! Me? Well, I'd rather not offer up my arse for money, especially if the tims are involved. There must be other, and better revenue streams available, than this gigantic balls up?! Pride before pounds for me, my man!
8.) 04 Mar 2022 09:49:29
Are you talking about your own scatter gun, Renfrew?! 🤣🤣🙈🙈
Like I said, If anyone is for this, good on them. But not me! I'd rather not pimp myself out to anything involving them outwith what we are, and always have been, contracted to do through our own associations.
9.) 04 Mar 2022 09:54:02
BMGH01 you are 100% correct and I agree with everything you have said. I would also like to see Dave King back and hopefully🤞ðŸ¼Tells Douglas Park to step down, since he has been in charge it’s been one petty argument after another with the SPFL and the media and pundits.
10.) 04 Mar 2022 10:18:23
Okay BMGH, point taken and it was a bad choice of words on my part in the first place - sorry. All I was suggesting was that we’re in danger of making this more about them than about our own interests. As it’s a big day tomorrow hopefully any protests tomorrow will be kept to a minimum.
11.) 04 Mar 2022 10:35:49
No worries Renfrew, thanks mate.
I'm with you on the protest issue, but I fear it's not going to be pretty. I genuinely feel the majority of the fans are against this, and we are now seeing fan media such as Heart and Hand come out and express their disgust in the board. If they guys who have access to Ibrox are doing it, surely that must prove something?! I'm not on here to fall out with fellow Rangers fans, but this is going to create division amongst us. We don't need this!
12.) 04 Mar 2022 11:25:31
I don’t think the Board will reverse the decision to take part in Sydney at this point, unless a formal agreement has still to be signed. If one has been signed then they could be in breach and liable for damages to Celtic and the Sydney clubs if they reneged on this. Does anyone have any better information on this?
13.) 04 Mar 2022 11:53:08
Fair enough BMGH01,we are never all going to agree, but I always respect other posters points of view, that what keeps site going, anyway first problem 3 points Saturday something we will all agree on.
14.) 04 Mar 2022 12:08:50
Probably the only thing we all agree on Gers58! 🤣🤣 Well, apart from the one or two imposters who sprout up every now and again.
15.) 04 Mar 2022 12:25:07
Walter would u take king back at expense park, Taylor wolthardt etc.
16.) 04 Mar 2022 12:52:39
The question is this, is it the Board of Directors in general or is it just the Parks Family? I am not a fan of Parks who seems to want to make himself and his family another Rangers Dynasty like John Lawrence. If he wants to do that then he needs to make serious investment in the Club just as John Lawrence did and have a strategy for the future just as Lawrence Marlborough had and if he and his family can't fund that then it is incumbent upon him to find someone else willing to invest.
17.) 04 Mar 2022 12:54:17
John25, if it was to replace Parks then yes, if it meant losing other Members of the Board than the Parks family then no but I guess we don't know whether their are already divisions in the Boardroom!
18.) 04 Mar 2022 13:07:11
Stevie Gérard flecked off because he got a better offer. SG has a premiership mentality and therefore expected to be buying without selling. Our model did not suit him, so he left to be nearer his wife with a club that will spend cash. A club not in Europe, a club struggling to get into Europe and a club were not winning anything but getting in Europe is a success every season. We’re he will need to spend millions doing it. Oh that's what our first 2 seasons were. He will be remembered however for stopping 10 in a row and bringing by our pride. 👠Think Wilson is the same to be honest.
Dave King has issues with Celtic and the way we were treated but also has political crap with our board. Although I like him and we have lots to thank him for, he left so forget him.
This summer is the time I will view our board and make an appraisal. The club to market itself has to think of other avenues. Now if it’s true that Celtic are getting twice as much then that’s wrong and should be binned or at least re-negotiated. Celtic although I hate them don’t fecking define my club or their history, they are just another club be it a very close rival. Standing at Parkhead surrounded by 18,000 bears watching them in the jungle collecting for terrorist groups. However away fans singing songs that celebrate past crap in 2022 doesn’t make it right also. I’ve sung loads of songs but thinking back, what the feck. Time to move on. That’s not selling yourself, or pimping yourself out it’s saying if we want to be viewed like the big clubs of Europe, we have to act correctly and maybe learn differently how to generate cash.
No one is buying Rangers for millions, no one is investing in our league and top players in there prime are not coming to our league. David Murray spent millions chasing a CL dream and we ended up in the last tier of Scottish football. Common sense and a business approach is required now.
As for this board selling our morals. That was done 2012-2018.
19.) 04 Mar 2022 13:26:34
I wouldn't care one jot If the Park's were to leave the club. The Park's, especially jnr, are supposedly at the root of most of the internal issues. This doesn't come from me, but from people with contacts, and relationships, with people from within the club. John25, you are on here posting about your link to a source within the club, so you must have heard the Park's, especially the son, aren't liked?! It's not a secret!
20.) 04 Mar 2022 15:12:18
King fell out with most off board b4 he left.
Gibson has put in millions in shares in last year as the board is seen as more stable.
Imo park junior is a big problem, but chairman not sacking his own son.
21.) 04 Mar 2022 15:29:14
Well said BMG at last someone with morals.
22.) 04 Mar 2022 16:12:45
Go and watch club at 22 podcast, listen to the guy Ally spot onðŸ‘ðŸ‘.
23.) 05 Mar 2022 12:11:49
Correct BMG read my posts re park junior. I’ve said for long time they r the problem re us, spfl, sfa.
06 Jan 2022 15:37:46
I see the lad Summerville scored three goals last night for Leeds U23's. Does anyone know if we had a scout watching?
1.) 06 Jan 2022 17:01:41
In 35 mins it took him.
2.) 06 Jan 2022 17:06:09
35 mins to score 3 goals.
He's obviously not quite good enough for us. 🤣🤣🤣
🔴⚪🔵.
3.) 06 Jan 2022 18:56:37
Think he would be great for us. Said a few days ago would prefer him over olsen. Just my opinion.
4.) 06 Jan 2022 22:14:03
Can you tell me WHY?
5.) 07 Jan 2022 05:10:56
Av seen both play and think summerville would be better for us. Quicker, more agile. Think in long run he will be the better player.
6.) 07 Jan 2022 07:22:26
Somerville only a loan Leeds won’t sell apparently.
7.) 07 Jan 2022 11:22:09
The figures been quoted by the media for Olsen to sign permanently is £8M which is a substantial amount of money for the club.
Either way - Olsen loan?
Summerville- loan?
John 25- are we not linked with a Belgian U21 currently playing for Anderlect with a fee of approximately £3.6m.
8.) 07 Jan 2022 11:44:41
Yes Copland amazu.
9.) 07 Jan 2022 13:31:13
Cheers JohnðŸ‘.

Coully, what about trying to punt Danilo instead of Dessers? Everyone seems to be taking it as read that Danilo will score as many as Dessers but, in truth, I'm not convinced that could be the case.
01 Aug 2022 09:06:36
Well lads, if no one else comes in then maybe we can presume that GVB and RW are happy with the players we have. Just a pity that any hopes or expectations of incomings, mostly raised by various insider information, didn't quite materialise.
06 Jul 2022 06:43:21
Lowry has that gallus air about him and skills to match. He'll only improve with more first team games. Big hopes that the lad turns out to be a bit special.
12 Jun 2022 08:22:19
I think it would be toss up between Dykes and a water dispenser to see which one is more useful.
09 Apr 2022 16:08:58
The lad Summerville could be a shrewd piece of business. Good ball control and an eye for a killer pass. Definitely an upgrade on Kent and Fashion Jr.

Stevie, we don't need a tent but we do need some cover.
12 Apr 2022 23:11:26
Alloa, my point is that we should've played them first game after the split.

We need a new spine next season. Goalkeeper, 2 first choice CD’s, at least 1 starting AMF and 2 or even 3 quality Strikers. as I fear Buff will go. If we can secure realistic fees for Kent, Aribo, Kamara and Barasic then I’d move them on. I’d hate to think that Lowry, in particular, would not get more first team exposure. All in all a big ask but we’ve left ourselves with very little option due to the lack of proper investment this season.
