Wheelerbealer Beale said today that he doesn’t see any striker outwith the top 2 teams that are any better than what we already have with colak morelos sakala and roofe. also said the amount paid for a player have to be justified. so I doubt we will pay 2 million and give away 2 players for someone who the manager doesn’t feel is better than what we have for him to then just warm the bench….

I've heard very similar but it wasn't a deal for Arfield, it was King permanent (loan to buy) and Lowry on loan for the rest of the season, plus around £1.75m. Been told that Nisbet will be a Rangers player before the end of the transfer window.

There’s better options than Nisbet out there. That striker Jovanovic from Israel looks the real deal to me. He’s dominant in the air, he’s dropping deep, he’s running the channels, He’s playing others in, composed finishes, he’s very young, big and physical, etc. He’d probably cost £2m and he looks to have many attributes that would make him a force in our league.

I’m not convinced by Nisbet he’s definitely a decent little player but he done his ICL not so long ago I’m not sure he’s worth the amount hibs want for him I’d say 1.5m as a squad player at best!

I’m not convinced by Nisbet either. Watching his goals there’s not a lot of variety, technical ability, and he doesn’t score a lot of headers despite his physicality. I do believe we can do better.

Expected a reaction after wednesday but nothing. Players have no clue what they are doing and that's down to beale. Danilo again on the bench. We paid £6m for him and he is backup to dessers? That is inexcusable. seems dessers is number 1 choice up front which in itself tells you how bad things are. don't know where we go now but beale must go. Four points behind after 4 games. I've no issue with players getting moved on if they get get replaced by a better quality, BoyBlue.
IMHO sentimentality has cost us in recent seasons.
For instance I like Sakala and he contributed not too bad last season but if we get an upgrade on him from a technical ability perspective I'd happily day thanks for the memories.
At the same time some one has to bid for our players as well.

We need a centre half or 2 got a feeling Souttar will be injured alot, hope I am wrong, also don't know if big Helander might be on the way out. As far as I am concerned, we are still fighting for the league and 2 cups. It would be a gamble, especially when Davies has had his injury problems also. I would definitely say 1 centre half at least.
