I have just heard that Michael Gardyne is being investigated by the SFA compliance officer for calling Buff a 'faggot'. Is this correct?

If that is the word used and the ref deemed it only a yellow card offence and the county manager knows that's what was said (he commented the ref had told him) then they both need hammered big time along with the player.

When it comes to spouting garbage, I would say a good example of that was the poster who proposed we loan Morelos out to an EPL club and insert a 50 million buy out clause into the agreement. I can't remember who it was, but maybe you do? Now, that's garbage!

KJ mate what interview was that with Stevie G? I saw the sky sports one where he said he didn't hear but didn't mention the ref not hearing. Maybe another one he has done?

Although someone in professional football using the term didn't see/ hear to avoid a situation wouldn't be a first mate would it 🤣.

I was told by one of my mates this morning that he seen a report down in england yesterday that man utd are looking to sign a new right back and are interested in james tavernier and kieran trippier. Also the report states that OGS rates tav highly and is prepared to wait 'till the summer, if he can't do business with rangers in january 🤔 I told my mate they can f**k off until the summer as there would be absolutely no way we could contemplate selling tav in january!
I don't know how much truth is in this story from an english outlet and only passing on to share with you guys, what my mate told me 👍The fee he said that was getting banded about was £12.5million, rising eventually to £15million🤔.

I think there's a few of us getting carried away a wee bit due to how well things are going?
It's been a long, torturous, heartbreaking and strenuous 9 years, but we have to remain grounded and not allow the current situation to cloud our judgement. We are never putting a 40 million valuation on Tav. Never!
Even though I think the Man U stuff is pure fantasy, Tav is worth more than the 12.5m fee being quoted. But, not 40m!

SGL you should never let anyone get to you mate, never! Life's too short my friend to let people get under your skin, and it's always best to laugh things off or a nice wee witty reply always works for me.
If someone has an issue with me, it's no big deal. There's no way we're all going to agree with each other on here, can you imagine how boring it would be? Look mate, our fantastic Ed's are great at their job in ensuring things don't get too much out of hand, and If they ever did, they would nip it in the bud right away.

Bmgh01, I've never been Tav's biggest fan over the years but credit where it is due, he is far far better than when he came up against Tierney. The amount of goals and assists Tav has must be alerting top flight clubs in England. Tbh I've never seen anything special in Tierney, still don't, and has never done anything of note outside Scotland. For me Tav is better. Just my opiniom 👍.

The problem with Tav when it came to facing Tierney was he never got over that inhalation in his first old firm league game - every time he faced him he looked terrified!

Especially as i actually work in an hospital around this devestating virus! I honestly have absolutely no time for a character like that and never will have pal! Football banter on here is no problem but i'm afraid i totally draw the line to what he came away with 😡I've so sadly, like probably a good few on here, lost friends to this deadly, devestating virus 😞😞🙏.

Find it unlikely, however I have to laugh at the comments saying he's not good enough. Have you seen the Man Utd defence guys?

He does the exact same job at Trent Alexander at Liverpool who also bombs forward but lacks a little defensively.

It's my opinion that Tav fits in wit an Arsenal of Leicester rather than a Man Utd or Chelsea.

But he is as good as the top 6 right backs for me. Mainly because they're all garbage.

He's also worth lots more then £10-12m.

Man utd back line is horrific. Tav would do fine. Football fans are fooled by the big lights of the Premier league. Outwith the few elite players the rest are vastly over rated and a good few of our players would not look out of place in most sides down south.
An quick example off the top of my head Ryan Jack / Glen kamara are they not every bit as good as xhaka or mctominay etc who play same role in arsenal and man utd teams. Barasic would walk into any side even Liverpool (Robertson is no better than him) etc etc.
Players playing in Scotland are disregarded too easily.

Read about the Trippier link, but nothing about Tav but will have a wee look to see if I can find anything. Interesting if true but a club like Man Utd (even under Woodward) probably have a decent list of potential targets and perhaps Tav is just one of many names being spoken of.
