Hull are in for Windass, bid rejected apparently

GovanFront7

1.) 26 Jan 2017 16:54:31
Saw this reported on HITC. Haven't seen anything reported by them that has materialised or been proven true.

2.) 26 Jan 2017 17:41:00
Livermore and potentially the exit of Snodgrass leaves Hull short in midfield.
Like to see Windass stay but Warburton stated every player has a price.
Does Windass not have a release clause in his contract?

3.) 26 Jan 2017 17:46:38
Yeah I think it's either 2.5 or 3.5 million

4.) 26 Jan 2017 18:40:35
Yeah I thought it was 3 million.

5.) 26 Jan 2017 18:40:48
Windass has a big future he's been abit hit or miss this season but I honestly believe he will become a top class player just needs some more experience and some more belief! Wouldn't like to lose him

6.) 26 Jan 2017 18:13:17
1.5 million bid apparently but I have to say if a offer of 5 or 6 million came in I would consider it!

7.) 26 Jan 2017 19:01:55
would like windass to stay as i think he got something if used properly. i. e used as a number 10 with a couple of ball winners behind him. mind you i think that would apply to about 5 of our midfielders

8.) 26 Jan 2017 19:46:16
We are not selling windass blah blah blah we are skint get over it . Its rather funny these rumours who knows we might sign kevin kempl next as a new CDM he's on 70k a week we could use the windass money to pay his wages hahahahahah.

9.) 27 Jan 2017 07:31:35
Windass has a £3m buy out clause in his contract. So won't be going on the cheap regardless.

10.) 27 Jan 2017 08:32:41
Where on earth did you pick the figure of £5-6 million up? I rate him highly but he has featured in 15 games this season and scored on goal. On the bench every week or injured. For £5-6m in the English Premier League alone you could get Patrick Bamford or Tom Carroll who both have a bit of experience at the top flight. Why would someone offer that for a fringe player in Scotland. People really need to get a grip!

11.) 27 Jan 2017 09:30:00
Hopefully they bid £3m for him bite their hands off and get rid and be happy with the profit he's mince.

12.) 27 Jan 2017 09:38:09
It's really a win-win situation. We keep him = Maintain a good young player. He goes = Tidy bit of business.

13.) 27 Jan 2017 09:43:36
Lol if we were offered 5-6 million it would be more than considered the boy wouldn't even touch the marble staircase on the way out. He's a decent player with a big future. But we got him for under 200 grand if we were offered 2 mill he will be away that's why these players are signed to make a quick profit it's the only way we will survive until we get rid of Ashley same goes for mckay and any others sad to say but that's the position we are in

14.) 27 Jan 2017 12:02:55
totally agree blue genius!

got one concern though if say we get 2 million for him which would be generous to say the least, we need to get sum1 in basically on the same day as the transfer window is only open a few more days.

15.) 27 Jan 2017 18:47:51
£2m is ten times what we paid for him so, considering he's not exactly set the heather on fire, that amount of money would be snapped up. I think, no matter the claims about a release clause, anything over £1m would shift him.

16 Jun 2016 21:31:03
Rangers favourites to sign Danny Ings.

GovanFront7

1.) 17 Jun 2016 16:11:41
doubt this will happen if he comes to Glasgow he will go to Brenda as he will know him personally and celtic can afford more than we can.

14 Oct 2015 08:40:02
Rangers are on the verge of appointing Frank McParland of Burnley as their new chief scout

GovanFront7

1.) 14 Oct 2015 09:45:52
Saw this as well. Did a bit of googling and he was only made Burnleys sporting director in May this year?

Apparently the man credit for the signing of Raheem Sterling from QPR to Liverpool and was chief scout at Watford under Sean Dyche. Seems like he could be a great choice, but I assume we would have to offer Burnley some form of compensation package?

2.) 14 oct 2015 20:34:18
from what i'm lead to believe he was warburtons sporting director at brentford but left after they got told they were gone at the end of the season

3.) 15 oct 2015 09:09:49
at the moment anyone is better than what we have the now. If we are serious about getting players in during the next two windows then someone had to come in soon

4.) 15 Oct 2015 13:10:28
that would be a good appointment rather than someone from up here because down south there is the championship league one nd 2 where there is no doubt there are bargains to get i had originally thought about neil macann but this would be a far better addition with his knowledge of the english game

05 Jan 2015 18:06:45
Brentford are looking at Peralta after taking McLeod

GovanFront7

1.) Hope so what a waste of space he is

2.) I'll fly from Canada and drive him down for free.

3.) Bit harsh - the guy has never been given a run in the team and often played out of position

4.) I can only remember him playing 1 decent game since he arrived that was against Dundee iutd in the Scottish cup last season. but I agree he's not had a proper run of playing time

13 Dec 2014 10:54:19
Heard a rumour that once Ally does finally leave either before xmas or once his contract is up that he is going to gift his shares to the supports. Hope so would be a nice gesture for putting up with all the s*** football over the last few yrs.

GovanFront7

1.) Woulda feck if a was ally tbh, they would go to his sons, not clowns who call him alsorts

2.) 13 Dec 2014 17:08:36
Been told announcement to be next week, that Ashley intends to put Rangers in Administration to wriggle out of commercial deals formed by Green & Ahmed. Laxey did not agree ao intend to sell up as they are not prepares to are not prepared to further dillute their shareholding. Ashley won't underwrite the new share issue. Point deduction coming and further sanctions ahead. More years of pain ahead.

3.) Well he could afford to give them away after the wages he's took out of Rangers. I hear Andy Goram saying no manager in the history of Scottish football EHHHHH, Davie White one defeat and sacked for failing to win the league against a team that won europe top competition how hard a gig was that. Ally played teams of plumbers and bakers with a team of full timers on a 100x their wage. Ally made a rod for his own back by backing every single owner, CEO and board member to the hilt WHY did he do that it certainly wasn't for Rangers benefit, even up to a week ago he was singing the praise of Lambais

4.) 13 Dec 2014 20:26:48
He must know something is going to happen soon and that's why he is WALKING AWAY it would have been better to have walked away in the summer even last season was poor and that was against Guys who work all day and train at night, Not like The Ian Blacks and monshis who train in Murray park and suppose to EARN £1000s week and can't beat so called less teams the mind Boggles??.

5.) Nothing but thestruth that would not surprise me but if he did that his own agreementwould go down the tube but if green and co are found to have acted frudently agreements can be broken without a problem

6.) 13 Dec 2014 23:11:02
New owner comes on board, what is the benefit of attacking the owner in the press

7.) Just because the new owners never worked out ally gets the blame? Remember craig whyte got a guard of honour down broomloan rd. Charles green had the fans singing obscenities about the sfa

8.) Bigwull Ashley knows sports direct won't be selling a lot of rangers jerseys due to his own contract, so maybe he is willing to look at this contract again, that way he would not care if we went into addmin, known if he offered more money to the club in regards to Jersey sales, this would be more exceptable

9.) Remember that Rangers Retail are half owned by SD and if TRFC/RIFC suffer an administration event then SD have the rigth to buy the other half at a cost of 50% of the previous years profits.

Rangers Retail hold the rights to most of the clubs emblems etc (on licence from TRFC) and so, if MA forces an administration, RR might retain those rights but be 100% owned by SD

10.) LMFAO. ally mccoist to give away money lolol. absolutely no chance unless it happens to be stipulated in that contract he "nevur read by the way!". he will 100% only be thinking of himself as he has ALWAYS done his whole life, he is now playing us the fans and the board and does not give a **** about Rangers or us FACT

11.) No matter what your view is on Ally can any one of you persons on here look yourself in the mirror and say you have done more for Rangers than him??
Just look at the CRAP he has had to endure off the field whilst trying to manage a football team.
This was a handsome man (so m wife says) four year ago now he looks 60 Would not swap my life for his any day of the week

12.) You never heard a rumour someone else wrote it here last week, I'm no sure he would do that.

13.) Aye a did hear a rumour, a never read it here a few weeks ago. but mibby you'd know better than me!

14.) Ally the legend, 2 words unvouched expenses. heard all will be revealed soon

15.) 17 Dec 2014 09:51:48
New rumour- Apparently Billy Davies is being lined up as a replacement if an agreement is made with Super Ally.

With all these Mexican and Portuguese players coming in, reminds me a bit of when Dick came in with all the Dutch players, could be a good thing

GovanFront7

1.) 09 Jun 2017 18:26:36
A little different to Dutch period to Be honest. The de bore twins, Numan, van bronckhorst. All Dutch internationals at the time. With exception of Albers most of these players are being signed for their potential. Just my opinion 👍🏼

2.) 09 Jun 2017 18:34:33
Am going to buy portugease top instead ers top

3.) 09 Jun 2017 21:07:58
Can see a sh#t load of those Mexican hats at Ibrox AND when Pena or Herrea score then a Mexican Wave will be in order ;)

4.) 09 Jun 2017 23:27:13
grow the old Mexican Tache wear s poncho drinking tequila go all in lol

5.) 09 Jun 2017 23:35:24
Just for the sake of being a smart arse, Mcleish signed Frank De Boer no Dick

18 May 2017 19:50:00
Dave King has said that ALL season ticket money will be spent on the squad. Does that mean most of it in the summer and some in the winter? I presume the money IF we get it would include transfer fees, wages and other costs? So what does that give PC in real money to spend? Thoughts

GovanFront7

1.) 18 May 2017 20:03:39
Don't think it matters how much is spent on players it's what players we get, we have had players for not a lot or no money in the past like boumsong, reyna, gattuso a price tag doesn't mean everything.

2.) 18 May 2017 20:11:39
Not sure what percentage would go where but i'd happily use the biggest whack to pay off some of the impostors we have just now! We
CAN'T afford to keep shelling out wages for this mob and go into next season with pool of players! i'd happily bring in free transfers and keep beerman barjonas ect in the side than persevere with halliday ohalleran etc

3.) 18 May 2017 21:09:07
It could be spinning a line in order to sell season tickets

4.) 18 May 2017 23:02:09
You think?!

5.) 20 May 2017 21:23:05
tavenier waghorn windass niko crooks could all fetch us some sort of fee so that is a plus as no pay off for them then also mackay and garner could fetch us money if pedro decides to sell.
so that leaves us with keirnan halliday ohallran forester hodson holt doodoo the last 3 could be used as squad players.
so we will only have to pay keirnan halliday forester ohallran of.
getting rid off players mentioned above would raise some funds plus also free a lot wages so after signing on fees ect and if king stays true to his word and would expect pedro to have 10 or 12 million available for transfer fees possibly more depending if he gets any of the transfer fees

28 Jul 2016 10:55:03
Ladbrokes have suspended betting on RVP joining Rangers. I'm not saying he is coming but you have to admit it's fun being linked to big players again :-)

So the other day we are told two deals done this week. Now we are being told "not going to panic buy" which means those two deals are now off and we won't be signing Anyone else during this window and we will be fobbed off with we couldn't get the guys we wanted i e the sains boy and Brentford boy so we didn't buy at all. Just don't understand why we are going through the whole Scott Allen saga again. If the board want bums on seats next season they have to build a decent squad this window and a few good quality players in the summer imo.

GovanFront7

1.) 21 Jan 2016 12:28:31
did you read the Daily Rebel for that "quote", Warburton was asked what will happen if you don't get your transfer targets, and all he said was we won't panic buy. there is still 10 days and 11 hours at this moment until the window closes. chill the hell out, it's about a good deal on both sides. for years Scottish football benefitted from our purchases from other clubs, most of those purchases realistically where over priced, horrifically. I for one am glad we are not putting out the cash that other clubs want us to, however taking our own valuation of the worth of a player.

Scott Allan hibs 'best player' starts on the bench again today

Well with the exception of the SD deal I’m struggling to remember a ‘good story’ coming out of Ibrox. I’m not being all doom and gloom I just can’t see the fairly tale investor thing being the answer everyone is hoping for. I will wait patiently like everyone else and hope I’m wrong!

Would absolutely take him until the end of the season. does well, gets the job. And if he’s no up to it then he isn’t tied into a contract.

Win percentages for managers in the EPL don’t really give a good representation of the manager as it’s such a hard league to win in
