A story that will gain legs . should Kent be allowed back? . I say yes as the talent is thhere and clement would get a tune out of him and possibly a sell on down the road that would make up for the 7 million wasted loss in the past. I would welcome him at the right wage and no transfer money -absolutely . open for dialogue.

No and why would we bring back a serial failure who downed tools for his last season at the club when we've just managed to rid the club of another 5 failures. We, ll never move on keeping that groupand if we can get some1 to take goldson and tav we can all feel confident as a club we've removed many of the reasons for our lack of success a group who bottled it at the most important time and some who didn't care a jot and chucked it whilst being payed thousands.

Kent never scored enough goals, so I’d disagree that he’d play under big Phil, anyway I’d much rather be watching Cortes and Sima who are goal threats. Even if we can’t bring back Sima, someone of a similar profile.
I actually really liked Ryan Kent and thought he was amazing on our Euro run to the final and how he used to play in the old firm games when he first joined.
I just think big Phil wants consistent goals from his full front 3, 15-20 goals a season from the wide players each and 25-35 goals a season from our number 9. We need to be more of a dangerous goal threat. And other players chipping in with numbers of their own.

I don’t understand your point Gers58, Sima who let’s face it nobody knew anything about before last season scored, 16 goals- so how can we not afford it? So what do we do? Just hope the number 9 bangs in most with the rest of the team chipping in. We may not be able to afford it outright, but with smart recruitment or even a loan, of course we can get wingers who can score 15 goals a season.
Especially when big Phil’s sides are very reliant on wide players. I don’t get that. How can we not afford it. Any team really can uncover a player that hits 15 from outwide just like sima did on loan.
We don't have to buy them, we just need to get them for a season. I hate when people say we can’t afford something that should be realistic for a winger playing for Rangers in Scottish football. And anyway, how do you know how much money we have to spend? You're telling me we can’t afford it- so tell me what we can afford and what is more realistic.
I don’t think 15 from a wide player, playing for Rangers in relatively poor Scottish football, is unrealistic. That’s surely why Nils Koppen was hired. Smart signings and loan signings.
