No doubt someone probably already wrote this by the time this gets published, Chris Jack saying Rangers are interested in a Permanent deal for Oscar Cortes Lens looking to re coup the fee paid to the Colombian ?? team that had him before Lens
This to me is good because Big Phil has seen this lad close up in training and I was told that the whole squad were really impressed with Oscar before his injury. Love a columbian at Ibrox.
1.) 01 Jun 2024 08:34:22
It was mentioned that it’s a loan to buy this January.
I think he will be a permanent player if he signs.
2.) 01 Jun 2024 09:17:34
Hopefully we do get Cortes and he shines? - but we cannot let him leave for zip like his previous compatriot who ran the contract down - ie get him in, get him winning things for us and sell at the right time.
3.) 01 Jun 2024 09:25:27
I think that fee is too much for us to pay for him after only playing 4 games for us. It's a risk with his injury. Hopefully we can get another loan.
4.) 01 Jun 2024 09:57:40
Being reported they're wanting 4m for him.
5.) 01 Jun 2024 10:12:30
Scott, 4m is a bargain for him in my opinion.
6.) 01 Jun 2024 10:49:43
He looks a good player, but for a club of our funding, £4m is a substantial amount and only worth paying once you see the lad has overcome his injury and can give consistent results. If it's £4m now, then we move on to new targets.
7.) 01 Jun 2024 11:19:01
Not firing shots mystery but is your opinion based of the small amount of game time he played for us, or did you see a lot of him at lens and previous clubs?
8.) 01 Jun 2024 11:19:24
My star not mystery.
9.) 01 Jun 2024 13:08:31
So only played a game and a few mins here, don’t sign, guess we will never sign a player unless here a season, give me a break almost Al players signed by scouts watching them play elsewhere, loan to buy is great to see in Scottish game but what we want Ronaldo for £100k and played 30 games before we pay.
10.) 01 Jun 2024 23:00:01
Sorry but if we pay that for a guy just off a serious injury we are idiots
Loan with option to buy
Or
Loan with obligation to buy if he plays so many games.
11.) 02 Jun 2024 06:53:14
Was it not reported one or the other options in the 6 month loan extension the other day, bit unsure tbh, anyone confirm the option/ obligation option on January?

Can anyone in the Know tell me if the Angel Torres thing is true, I think it has truth to it personally but I’m interested to see if anyone that knows stuff has heard of this.
He’s a left footed Right Winger, which is an area of priority for Rangers just to end the likes of Scott Wright being there. Agent was reportedly in Glasgow. Supposedly wouldn’t cost that much. He’s been playing in Australia and has scored some lovely goals with great technique. And we know big Phil likes a columbian. If this is true I think we will keep Oscar Cortes. Heard that before his injury he was really impressing ththe manager and the whole squad behind the scenes.
Oscar was playing on the left this Angel Torres plays on the right. A Columbian each side. It would be really interesting. Anyway I’m just bringing you some twitter rumour that I’ve seen a few times. Feel free to shoot it down as it’s not mine anyway. Just wanted to find out if anyone else has heard anything more concarête. It does sound plausible if his agent was in Glasgow tho. Although I think the agent in question has quite a few players on his books.
1.) 10 Apr 2024 17:10:17
Mr rangers not heard that name.
2.) 10 Apr 2024 19:44:12
Plays down under 13 goals 3 assist in 22 that's all I know about the guy, btw had to look, never heard of him Mr R.
10 Aug 2023 07:20:29
Apparently the interest in the other Soutar brother is real, loan but nearer the end of the transfer window.
Beale is interested despite what he said last night because there’s loads of competition for his services. Leicester bought him for 15 million but must be considering loaning him as weird as that sounds.
My only issue is with him who’s position does he take his own brothers? I don’t know what side of CB he plays! I was impressed with John last night. Harry is bigger tho @ 6 foot 6 his a big dude.
I watched him in the last World Cup, has a great ball on him and he’s a better player than his brother in general.
Weather we get him is another question, real competition for him, but the interest is real and was recently pictured in a Rangers top, I know that means nothing but this is one to keep your eye on.
1.) 10 Aug 2023 08:02:55
I'm sure he's a right footer so it would imagine he prefers the right side.
2.) 10 Aug 2023 08:55:46
Would really like this to be true. Don’t count out a 3 at the back if he was brought in. Everyone is getting attached to needing a left footed CB. We don’t exactly need a left footer. More just a CB who is good enough to enhance our first 11.
3.) 10 Aug 2023 09:39:57
I've watched them both since they were boys.
We already have the better brother, both defensively and on the ball. Always has been.
If John hadn't had his injury issues, he'd be playing at a top end EPL team in my opinion.
We see it in flashes from him (like the second goal last night and the Scotland playoff game a few years back), the question mark is always going to be around his fitness.
If his Injury problems are resolved as we're being told, then he is the better CB of the two. IMO he's the best CB we have, when fully fit.
That said, I would take Harry. He's a good player and would be a good addition for us. Knows the league.
I just wanted to give my view on the brothers having seen them coming up.
4.) 10 Aug 2023 10:05:07
I would quite this one, I was impressed with at the World Cup for Australia, this one definitely has legs this rumour. He was bought for 15 million rising to 20 million in add one, I don’t think Leicester fancy him.
There’s going to be people here that will say he was bought for 15-20 mil, therefore we won’t get him- that’s rubbish, Simply because he wasn’t bought this summer, he was bought in January. So Leicester have had time to look at him.
And I’ve just found out that the most likely reason Beale dismissed it, is because of the competition, one of which is Celtic. Although I don’t think they would have liked him getting pictured in Rangers top recently- but he could still end up there. There was a few noises about this at Ibrox last night.
But I’ve spoken to someone in the last hour giving me more information.
But if it’s to happen will be nearer the end of the transfer window as I said in original post. This is the first real rumour I’ve bought to this page- normally I just comment on stuff because people get slaughtered, but I’ll go for it.
Creswell is getting mentioned but I don’t know to much about that. I don’t just hear a name and put it on here, I hear the name and go ask questions.
And lol no I’m not @jester in disguise, I’ve been posting longer than he did. And I’m sure Ed would call me out on it. That was funny as f- I wonder if his beemers left his face yet. Too Funny ?
Have a good day everyone!
5.) 10 Aug 2023 10:09:52
Beale has confirmed that this is lazy journalism, with two and two being put together in the fact his brother plays for us and he follows the team on social media.
6.) 10 Aug 2023 10:37:43
He's not getting a game at Leicester, on bench at week end then not involved at all last night. May be injured but I don't think so .
7.) 10 Aug 2023 10:59:29
Harry just missed the whole of the 21/ 22 season with a knee injury, also picks up knocks a lot, he's a good player, good at passing out from the back and an aerial threat at set plays. he's a bit of an injury risk probably a risk worth taking, also should fit right into the squad with his brother being here.
8.) 10 Aug 2023 12:10:21
Home grown for European squad also.
9.) 10 Aug 2023 12:23:39
I’ve asked the question if this is a goer lads, just waiting on a reply, text and ex work colleague who is Harry’s girlfriends step father, he should hopefully know if this is a goes, I know harry and his girlfriend have just recently moved from stoke to Leicester, just wonder if they would move back up the road? soon as I find out I’ll post ?.
10.) 10 Aug 2023 12:42:14
If we also get Soapy Soutar that's the back 3 sorted, this isn't a rumour and I apologise for it.
11.) 10 Aug 2023 14:15:31
Leicester new manager said he wanted his Defenders to be comfortable on the ball and play from the back.
Only reason I can see why they are opting to let him go after he's just signed. Rodgers also didn't play him much.
We have the better Brother anyway.
12.) 10 Aug 2023 14:46:25
If you listen to what Beale actually said tho, he didn’t deny it either.
13.) 10 Aug 2023 17:26:53
I doubt it but!
Goldson will be on a downward spiral injury wise as he gets older and he was never quickest or great defending in air either
Might be time to start looking to future.
14.) 10 Aug 2023 18:59:25
What does the "weather" have to do with Harry signing? .
15.) 10 Aug 2023 20:03:29
Defraz I'm no falling for that, I sussed it the last time, just the same gobby nonsense.
29 Jul 2023 21:24:22
Cifuentes travelling next week after waiting on visa, medical still to be done say MB, but looking forward to seeing the guy as it feels like we’ve been linked for a while. Just happy to have a look at him as I’ve only seen highlights as I don’t watch MLS, good to have him on board.
1.) 29 Jul 2023 22:12:57
Hopefully this is the signing that will bring a bit of power and pace to our midfield.
He's past our best, but we still look a far better side anytime Jack is on the field - so desperately need someone who can take over his role and improve it.
2.) 29 Jul 2023 22:46:20
John ; is your info still that there is one more major signing after Cifuentes.
3.) 30 Jul 2023 01:28:24
He's definitely signing but 1d been booked for this guy for a long time if my sources are correct.
4.) 30 jul 2023 05:02:46
i would love to know how all these middle type players get to play, i hope we aren't going down the road of pushing midfielders into wingers.
5.) 30 Jul 2023 07:12:13
Yes twacoos. Mb two.
6.) 30 Jul 2023 08:16:58
Did we not overstock on midfielders in Gerrard time too.
7.) 30 Jul 2023 09:09:21
All these signings and lundstrum playing ch joke Beal will be lucky if he lasts till Christmas.
8.) 30 Jul 2023 09:20:32
He likes Lundstram so did Gerrard and I can't figure it out, Sheffield Utd fans don't appear to either .
9.) 30 Jul 2023 09:38:38
Beale won’t last Xmas going if what exactly a friendly.
10.) 30 Jul 2023 09:50:42
Harthill again something I said last year and took stick for it.
Every time last season just when people would begin to realise he would pop up with a goal so people ignored it.
For me lundstrum could learn from cantwells attitude.
11.) 30 Jul 2023 10:14:15
John have you had any info about us going for a wide player.
I heard a number of weeks ago we were looking but not heard anything since.
Lammers looks like he is more of a Tillman replacement.
Probably could only happen now unless we shift a few.
Was also told expect Tav to play further forward, have you heard anything on that as well.
12.) 30 Jul 2023 11:32:25
True blue we aren’t going to play with wingers mate it looks like 2 strikers and lammers behind.
If we play the 3 with a 10 the 2 ‘wide’ players will be inverted wingers or false 10s whichever u prefer to call them. Ie dowell cantwell lammers Hagi.
Sima prob the closest to a winger we will see this year.
13.) 30 Jul 2023 14:59:18
John hopefully a LCB and LB.
14.) 30 Jul 2023 15:05:44
Trueblue again something I've been saying about Tav for a while.
15.) 30 Jul 2023 15:10:19
Stevie I think your right and I do think that will suit Scottish teams that we sit on top of but we need some pace for Europe or games Vs Celtic or we will be in real trouble sima is definitely not a wide player and I fear like others we are asking midfielders with no pace to play these roles that they drift wide which is kinda useless and gives opposition time to get back in numbers
Dessers although early has looked very slow and not as mobile as colak which worries me.
It's early and he could end up being a totally different player to what he's showed so far once he gets to know the squad ?
I would have no problem going with lammers up front looks the part so far.
16.) 30 Jul 2023 16:12:22
Gofor Lundstram is what he is a lower English championship or slightly lower down, he is not what we need and far from it but it appears the manager doesn't agree .
17.) 30 Jul 2023 20:41:15
Tamf At least spell the managers name right when slaughtering him.
18.) 30 Jul 2023 22:25:10
Gofor I think we should always have a packet widcard in the team. I thought that’s what sima was going to be but by all accounts hasn’t shown up well yet.
Sakala gives us that option.
If we do sell the rest of the players we want out and get rid of Matondo and sakala we should try and get a pacey player in I do agree. It’s a pity we need money for players and sakala seems to be the easiest way of getting that atm.
19.) 31 Jul 2023 01:15:01
I think there will be more than 2,if you listen to Beale he’s basically saying that if anyone goes, he’s going to replace them ie if Matondo Sakala lundstrum kamara leave, lots more players coming and going methinks.
26 Jul 2023 10:18:22
Does anyone know exactly when Danilo is due in Glasgow to do the medical and sign his 5 year deal?
I’ve read next Monday, I’ve read today and I’ve read in the coming days! Just wondering which is it?
If it was today then that would be good because he could be paraded in front of the fans for the Olympiakos game.
1.) 26 Jul 2023 10:50:04
He’s definitely not in Feynoord so today I think.
2.) 26 Jul 2023 12:38:35
Apparently said his farewells and will be here by Friday can see it being another late announcement like Dessers was and supposedly Cifuentes is being paraded at HT tonight.
3.) 26 Jul 2023 14:49:15
If Cifuentes is paraded at half time tonight I will start believing that you are not a big Jester.
4.) 26 Jul 2023 15:48:18
What can i say mate I'm a funny guy ?
Seriously though just what I hear don't shoot the messenger.
5.) 26 Jul 2023 15:54:57
He definitely was with Feyenoord today. Saying goodbye to the players. He's going to miss Igor. Both like brothers to each other.

1.) 08 Jun 2024 12:05:57
Decent post. I’d be happy with those three coming in providing the proper scouting has been done. In Phil and Nils we must trust.
2.) 08 Jun 2024 12:18:55
Great post mate. Like your views.
3.) 08 Jun 2024 13:30:22
Yes superb post mate ?I really do like the look of all three you mention so here's hoping we get them and if we do, i'd totally imagine that thorough scouting has been done for each one of them ?I trust philippe clement and nils koppen ???.
4.) 08 Jun 2024 15:08:49
What 3 players mate.
5.) 08 Jun 2024 15:47:19
Thanks guys, I thought I’d get slaughtered for doing that especially on the South American lads but yous were actually nice about it. Appreciate it.
Something I found interesting when Jefte came in they sent Danilo almost out to befriend him. And they we’re getting pictures done with the Brazilian flag, also I was watching Cortes do rehab work with Danilo. I’ve got a feeling that PC has deliberately instructed Danilo to almost help them settle. Which can’t really be understated how important that is if we’re going down that Route Garcia for example is 20 years old and would have to basically leave everything he knows to come play here.
People just look at footballers on the park and kind of decide if they’re good, bad or something in between. Forgetting inside that they maybe unhappy. These South American lads can’t be left to be alienated.
I’ve been watching the Rangers Journal channel on YouTube, it has helped me get a bit more of a understanding of these players. Although I look for certain things myself because 2 people could watch the exact same football match and get different opinions. I think there has to be something in these rumours because they’re very random if not. I think Nils Koppen maybe next seasons hero. Although I I’m not going to say that yet because this is all speculation atm.
You’ve to say tho a lot of Rangers fans wanted change, a new direction. I’ll be completely honest I hated us signing guys late 20s from championship teams. The only come up here because they think it’s going to be easy. What worse is they become one of our highest earners and then almost becomes impossible to shift them. They bleed us. Take the money and don’t repay fans that support them like the unique way Rangers fans do.
The players I want rid of are Lawrence, Wright, Goldson, Lammers, Dessers Dowell. There’s a few others and I know we’ll at least be stuck with a couple of them. I actually like Dessers but think this might be the only window were we could possibly get a chunk of our cash back on him- and if you’d have said in December that in the summer we could possibly get our cash back on Dessers and Lammers I would have though they were crazy. I know I talk about football like it’s football manager game, rather than reality but surely that’s the fun part of being a fan during a transfer window of another rebuild.
Although I am hoping this is the last rebuild in a good few years.
6.) 08 Jun 2024 15:57:57
The 3 players are thomas galdames, damien garcia and adama traore.
7.) 08 Jun 2024 16:52:37
That was a good read mate. Big change in players we are targeting and it’s been needed, like every transfer though always a gamble.
8.) 08 Jun 2024 17:16:09
Good read think only one of those will be signed but I would hope all 3 are.
9.) 08 Jun 2024 18:30:12
Cracking read MrRangers, we're definitely trying for more South Americans, maybe them coming in would help Cifuentes maybe settle but doubt he has the mental strength for playing in our climate.
10.) 08 Jun 2024 19:05:15
Storm which one you think outta the 3 because I respect your opinion.
The Troare one I know isn’t for everyone he is older but he just scores so many goals. And I may have put that down to his league but when you see him Scoring for Sherriff in the CL, his country and scoring hat tricks from out wide.
I honestly can’t remember the last guy that played on the right that scored so many goals for Rangers. i'm happy with the signing of Cortes tho although Clement plays him left. Got him at a good age and he can only improve. If we do buy South American based players it will be helpful during the CL qualifiers because a lot of there seasons are ongoing just now. Anyway we’ll be linked to loads.
11.) 08 Jun 2024 20:55:03
@star in sky thanks for saying that it’s nice of you mate. And I’m actually quite glad you bring up mentality! And settling when Rangers fans have heard of a South American potentially signing before we’ve thought of guys who sounded the part but we’ve always had at the back of our heads that the player in question quite often can’t settle.
What gives me a bit of hope is the way Cortes came in and was a starter, let’s remember Cortes didn’t speak English- in fact I don’t think he still does. It’s all about the support they get. I don’t think it would be the worst idea to bring in a Spanish speaking coach of some description.
Star does have a huge point and until the are performing for us, we will not know. Does a Damien Garcia age 20 come here and cope when he’s been taken from everything he knows! I think Rangers can do loads to help them.
Gedalmes plays in Argentine football and there fans are probably as bad as we are in terms of judgement, plus Gedalmes is 25 not 20. And has played in some wild atmospheres in Argentina and plays for Chile national side.
I’ve got to say this is big risk, but big reward. I’m not even sure myself- I feel like I’m talking myself into it, but after Diomande and Cortes I’m going to give Koppen the benefit of the doubt- because I definitely think if I was to guess at least 2-3 South Americans brought in.
I was thinking that if we were to do business across there, it would be nice to be able to sell merchandise across there. If Celtic can profit from the Japanese market, could we not profit from the South American.
The recent Cifuentes has me worried, but looking back Rangers fans knew little from his time playing in Ecuador. It was how good he looked in MLS, MLS I don’t rate the people don’t see it as there main sport. I think it only looks good because old legends go there. And Cifuentes last time I looked isn’t doing that great in Brazil. Must have been a big reason why Jose didn’t get picked up by the English clubs. Anyway I’m going to wait until anyone comes in before talking them up or down.
11 May 2024 10:34:19
All I want today is to be proud of my team, please don’t just give them the title or this game will be painful, please do not bottle it. Play with the chest out and try. I just want to be proud that’s all. Doesn’t matter who starts after thinking about lineups for days. don't be scared be brave and if we take our chances it could be our day. But my nerves are going wild right now. Please don’t be 2 goals down within 25 minutes ?♂️.
1.) 11 may 2024 11:22:52
one things almost guaranteed mate
if rangers fall down and concede today, they will be annihilated both today and at hampden, the belief will go and we will know our captain and players are simply not good enough, never has there been two games to prove they're rangers careers meant something, this is it.
2.) 11 May 2024 11:42:58
I fear for today, especially with Barisic starting, all we can hope for is the players give it their all but I doubt it.
3.) 11 May 2024 11:48:36
I hope I’m proved wrong but I just don’t understand the logic of going with same shape and personnel as we have done previously and expect a different outcome. To me, it’s like we lack belief before we even kick off. I wanted to see a change of shape and ideally Lund, Dio and Sterling play 3 centrally to try win middle of park but no, it’s same same
Let’s hope Einstein was wrong (atleast sometimes)
09 May 2024 15:05:34
Right so I had time in between a meeting at work and decided to watch Cordoba who might be coming, he’s big and strong but clunky looking- he barely ever hits the long ball. Which means if we sign him we’re probably going to be playing some very different stuff. I think this direct stuff is because only 2 are his players with Oscar being out injured. Cordoba will definitely need time to settle by the looks of him he’s raw as hell but that’s the market we are in. He’s probably better than what I think- but I wasn’t overly impressed but then again defenders never really do in the way midfielders and forwards can. I like him he’s a unit.
1.) 09 May 2024 15:33:22
Wouldn’t surprise me if we end up changing a lot over the summer. It’s easy to forget this squad isn’t his given he’s been here for a good few months now but the tactics he’s implemented aren’t necessarily what he wants in the long term. He had to get a tune out of what he was given and to be where we are from where we were he’s done a fantastic job. Everyone needs to get behind the manager for next season and I think they will.
2.) 09 May 2024 16:24:38
I thought he looked rough in footage, looks like a Scottish team pressing him hard will lead to issues, big strong lad and that’s about it…. fingers crossed I’m wrong.
3.) 09 May 2024 16:53:58
He doesn't play the long ball? Great. i'm sick of watching it.
4.) 09 May 2024 16:54:44
Previously i had time to watch clips of the likes of pena herrera bacuna dessers.
5.) 09 May 2024 16:55:45
Change is needed though as we have been playing the same football and very much same tactics for too long now we’re one dimensional most of the time
so change in tactics in play along with new players hopefully will see positive differences.
01 Mar 2024 10:25:15
All I’m hoping for today is we get good news about Oscar Cortes injury. The guys got levels to go up, and has played nearly every game since getting in. The replacements if he’s out are dire. Surely for once we’re due some luck but I’m not holding my breath.
1.) 01 Mar 2024 10:37:07
I wouldn't hold my breath either mate, as it looked like cortes had done his hamstring unfortunately ?.
2.) 01 Mar 2024 10:51:32
Cortes looks decent and agree def more to come. But to tout him up like that and then call the rest dire is poor IMO. Sounded like we’ve got messi missing and replacement is Fraser Aird.
3.) 01 Mar 2024 11:20:40
Didn't look good tbh. Hoping for the best though not expecting much.
4.) 01 Mar 2024 12:02:52
Its time for sterling to be starting on the right in most games. McCausland is left footed he can cover cortes or silva, he is ineffective starting games up top. Sima return would be great.
5.) 01 Mar 2024 13:10:22
I've been seeing on other forums that Cortes is out for a few weeks unfortunately - plastic pitches should be banned in the Premier league.
6.) 01 Mar 2024 13:13:53
I thought the manager said that Cortes had hurt his side . As for McCausland he is right footed, still no reason he can`t play on the left, cutting in onto his right foot he did it for the B team and Sima, Matondo and Cortes all do that from the left.
7.) 01 Mar 2024 13:14:31
Hardly made out Cortes was Messi Sollof do u have problem's reading? And how’s it poor saying the rest of the options out there are dire?, Then who’s good? Who’s on form and who’s fit! Wright is poor, young Ross still is not quite there yet but under PC probably will but not overnight, Matondo injured. It’s a opinion Sollof it’s not meant for your seal of approval ???.
8.) 01 Mar 2024 14:15:03
Yeah struth as no player has ever done their hammy and on a grass pitch ?♂️.
9.) 01 Mar 2024 15:23:48
McCausland is right footed, mate.
10.) 01 Mar 2024 16:16:30
Is there actually any evidence that plastic pitches are worse for injuries?
Of course it would be great if all teams had grass but we need to stop making a big deal out of this.
Most teams train on plastic and most youth players have played on it more than they have on grass.
I’ve also heard lots of pros say that they prefer it as they recover much faster because it isn’t as heavy.
I’d rather a smooth plastic pitch than the mess at St Johnston.

A good quality astro maybe but not Killies.

Well struth if Livi go down this season, then we only need to put up with the Killie pitch next season and then the premiership will be all grass from 25/ 26 (unless someone else goes up or I'm missing someone) as Killie are ripping up that astro and replacing with grass for the 25/ 26 season and not before time.

R with not plastic.

LaudrupHagi, Torres is that Angel Torres the Porto youth that plays in Aus? Just wondering because that’s a wide man who scores hatricks and scores some brilliant goals.
Adama Troare was a player I really wanted because of his goal numbers and how he’s helped a team massively in getting to the CL, it’s gone almost silent about this link so maybe it wasn’t real. 28 I know but not everyone can be 20-22.
I wonder who the first signing will be that gets us excited. Everyone we have signed are great bits of business and essential but I’m just wondering when we will see the more exciting ones. Long time to go in window and some others will have to leave- but we do need the game winning signings in by the CL qualifiers.

Yeah appreciate it also John227 because I was starting to wonder who really was a target ?. I hope there is a couple more with real quality on top of that. Another Midfielder and CB but then I don’t know if we have enough money for what I’d like. I like the players on John227 list Barron is the no brainier but the little I’ve seen of Galdames of Rrahmani I’ve seen something our squad doesn’t currently have. Although I was a little worried that if Galdames has a good Copa America we will have maybe a bit of competition.
Then again I don’t really know much about how transfers work, I just see players I like and talk rubbish about them. Anyway only first day of the window- I just want the majority of the new players are in for the CL qualifiers. Heres hoping.

Victor Djukanovic is some player especially at his age. I know what you’re saying about centre halves and agree but I’d be really excited if this one was to come true. If we got him there would be no Sima but honestly I think a part of me would rather have this guy. Especially if we got Rrahmani on top.
And if we got the big Centre back also and another midfielder on top of Barron and with the new players already signed we’d be getting there in terms of the overall rebuild. I know this is dream like thinking from myself here especially Djukanovic as I can’t see him coming very good player.

Yep sad at this- but no way would I want us to spend that much. On unproven talent. I hope and would like to think we probably eyed up an alternative, because I really want the CDM in before CL qualifiers as I’ve always thought of CDM as a really important role within a any team. Another transfer rumour debunked and to the next. I liked the look of this player aswell but not to be!

Tbh I’m a bit the same on this guy, I don’t get it. Forget the footage of him for a second everything you read about him is painfully average. He does not get big numbers of goals or anything. Unless he’s talking up Scott Wright position in the team. Maybe I’ll be proved wrong.

He absolutely is and I’m delighted by this signing……if it comes off of course. I’ve heard a lot of people on X a YouTube say we’re getting another Jack! But 10 years younger and less injury prone, I really liked Jack when he played but I don’t remember Jack ever being quite as mobile. It will just be the Aberdeen thing.
Although I’d definitely say we need another midfielder in there, with a different profile someone who can score a goal but not a number 10, and this is just me but do we need a number 10 in there next season if we have the correct balance in midfield and goals with our midfielders chipping in and guaranteed goals from our wide men and our striker? I’m not so sure but depends on what PC has in mind.

My Star, I think there was interest in Dessers in January but we never had enough strikers to let him go. So I’m hopeful that tbf to Dessers went on a scored some, to me it’s time to cash in.
I don’t like talking bad about him because he was at least fit for every match, and has unreal mental strength. But if we need money to fund moves for Rrahmani because that’s a signing PC wants it should be done. Dessers doesn’t take us to another level. A lot of people on here sound really positive about the guy all I’ve seen is his end of season highlights I’ve heard comparisons to old Rangers players that lol always happens. The latest I read Jelavic? If he’s that good or has that potential to be I’d be happy with our main 2 strikers Danilo and Rrahmani, then a 3rd maybe a older one like a Defoe style one but there very rare.
