So it's being reported Jones has been told to find a new club, i thought he should be given a chance this season especially with the 5 subs being brought in. Think he could definitely give us something the last 15 mins of games with his pace but looks like his idiotic challenge has finished his career with us if the report is true, think that's quite sad for someone who is a blue nose like us.

Problem with Windass was his arrogance and general bad attitude. The boy has talent and knows where the net is and that’s in a poor Gers side who created far less opportunities.
Maybe now he’s realised what he’s left behind and has hopefully matured a bit, for a nominal fee he might actually be a good addition.
He’s the type of player you need when teams pack the bus as a different option to create and score.
Like I said if it’s a nominal fee or loan signing I’d be happy enough.

Yes, I saw that on fb too. Pretty certain it was totally fake (not least as the person referred to it as Murray Park) .
Shankland is a difficult one to judge.
1) He’s 25 years old (in a week or so) and has never scored even 1 goal in the top division.
2) He does though have a very good scoring record of around a goal every 1.5 games (Or better) over the last few seasons in league 1 and the championship.
Looking at that first stat you wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. Looking at the second you may think he’s worth a punt.
To me he’s a bit of a Kris Boyd. A good finisher but does very little (nothing) outside of the box and his hold up play and overall game needs a lot of improvement.
I don’t feel if he came to us he’d get enough game time to be able to work on and improve his overall game. Maybe he’d need to prove himself first at SPFL level. Problem is if he were to do that his value would obviously shoot up too.

I think Shankland is too similar (but not as good) as Defoe. Utd wouldn't let him go for under £2m and I’d rather have Dykes who is proven in this league and a different type of striker to Defoe more of a strong Target man.

The only reason up 'till now that rangers haven't yet moved for dykes, is because they're waiting to see what happens regarding morelos, before making their move. If morelos does get sold, mirko maric is the striker they want to bring in to replace alfredo.
They would then move for dykes as the squad striker, who along with defoe when fit again, would cover maric, who would be gerrard's no.1 striker. I was also told dykes agent has been asked by wilson and gerrard to keep them informed if any bid from another club is likely to be accepted by livingston, thus allowing rangers not to lose him. Time will tell mate 🤔🤔.
