Heard a rumour that Moult to Celtic is a real possibility in January. Came from a Motherwell u19s player. Hope it's not true but even if it's not I'm not sure I have much faith in our board to secure his services right now. Would definitely be a good addition to us too.

1.) 11 Dec 2017 08:36:05
its a cert he’ll go there they’ll cash in on dembele in january and get moult for cheap our only hope is a pre contract can't see us being in with a chance

2.) 11 Dec 2017 09:16:48
Especially with no permanent manager. Who"s to say the new man will want Moult. Anyway he is not the be all and end all. There are other good players out there. If he goes to them then aye nae bother

3.) 11 Dec 2017 11:38:44
they’ll cash in on dembele.

aye just like they were going to do in summer and then last january

won’t hold my breath on that one the 25m+ bids have strangely failed to materialise

i don’t think moult will sign for them as he’s got dembele and griffiths ahead of him as well as the french lad who just scored a hat trick

canny see it - hope Mark Allen gets his finger out &’he comes to us

4.) 11 Dec 2017 17:11:09
Trev, I was agreeing with your post right up to the part when you say Mark Allen gets his finger out. Does anybody know what he does? We know what he's meant to be doing but, what does he actually do?

5.) 11 Dec 2017 18:01:43
He won't get a game there. Dembele value dropping in my opinion. Good player but doubt English clubs will pay out for spl striker. Come to Gers and get a game. He definitely would score lots for us.

6.) 11 Dec 2017 18:08:02
Aye, some wee YTS kid is privy to this information. Get a grip of yourselves, guys, even giving this credence! As the Seeker says, Moult is anything but the be all and end all. In fact, he's not good enough for the future we should be planning.

I know a lot folk won't like this but Young Hardie has had a decent wee run at Livi. I'd really like to see him used next year maybe even as a third striker to come on last 20 minutes or so. Sign Cummings hopefully but my main striking option would be Moult. Tried and tested in the league.

1.) 23 Apr 2018 16:00:34
For the 1st time i prefer cummings to morales. If his teamates had better decision making cummings could of had a hatrick

2.) 23 Apr 2018 16:24:15
Don't have a problem with Cummings but he missed a one on one with the keeper. Something Morales would have been getting dogs abuse if he had done it.

3.) 23 Apr 2018 16:40:44
I’d cash in on Morales. We were always going to be a stepping stone for the lad and he’s given us a decent return but he looks like a frustrated and fed up. Moult and Cummings would trouble any defence in our league.

4.) 23 Apr 2018 17:37:22
Cummings is not worth £1mill I’m a fan of Morelos he works so hard for the team, his confidence is low at this time just like most of the team and Blueberry I agree if that one on one with keeper had been Morelos he’d have been slaughtered it was right in front of me and I knew he was going to miss it he didn’t look confident at all

5.) 23 Apr 2018 19:29:02
Morelos gets slaughtered because he's not just missed one or two chances . he has easily missed more than 10 that should have been goals. . He didn't get abuse after the first couple but his misses have got worse and worse. . Misses against the tims twice . Hibs twice . Kilmarnock . Hamilton even has cost us a lot of points. . He needs to snap out quickly whatever huff he's in because his whole demeneer at the moment isn't helping him . He's like a golfer with the yips. He's just lost it and needs to find his way again. I think he's needing a hand because of all the work he does.

Wish some of us on this website would begin to remember that winning is winning and second is nothing. I know we were spoiled in the 90's and early noughties but we can't allow ourselves to start settling for second this year or next. We demand more because we as a fan group invest our time, money and soul for the club we love. Them from the other side can shove their tainted titles. We will stop 10. One good management team that can actually identify we need minimum 3 CB and a GK. Wes hasn't been terrible, far from it. But he's not good enough to wear Woods, Goram or Klos' gloves. Bring back McGregor for free in the summer and lure a few good steady no nonsense CB to the club.

1.) 22 Apr 2018 11:50:45
I agree with what you say about Fod. He pulls off some great saves but let's a lot of lo g range shots go in. He never really makes any obvious changers which is why people think he's better than he is

2.) 22 Apr 2018 14:04:01
I'd say there's 7 or 8 more important changes than the gk position. We'd be a lot worse off the last 2 seasons if not for foderingham

14 Dec 2017 11:12:37
I know that there are a lot of folk on here who can't see past Miller but I think with his injury last night we might be able to be more of an attacking threat and have two forward thinking players that stay upfront and in and around the box like he used to. Windass just off Morelos. When Wallace is fit get him in at LB with John in LW. Windass is not a left mid and as frustrating as he can be at times there's a player in him. As for Alves I don't think his heart is in it and he doesn't want to be here.

1.) 14 Dec 2017 12:03:56
Spot on about Miller. His injury will be a blessing in disguise so hopefully it’ll be Morelos and Windass up front from now on.

2.) 14 Dec 2017 12:22:49
I don't think Kenny should start every game, but it has largely been out of necessity this season due to a lack of options.
The injury allowed us to change formation and combat their width more effectively. I don't think it was Millers withdrawal, more the tactical re-jig that made us more effective.

3.) 14 Dec 2017 15:04:08
This will be Kenny's last season as a player for us and really hope he gets the credit he deserves. He has been a great servant of our club and Ibrox should raise the roof on his final appearance!

4.) 14 Dec 2017 21:17:22
What makes Murty's achievement so far impressive is he's had to deal with a lot of injuries and suspensions to 1st team players.

Bruno, morelos, dorrans, Jack, Wallace have all been missing at various points, but Murty has managed to get the best out our limited squad.

It bodes well for the second half of the season when these guys are options.

20 Nov 2017 18:57:07
Won't be at all surprised if MA sells Newcastle United now that a formal offer has apparently been tabled and attempts to invest in us again.

Not saying it's what I want but I can see it coming.

1.) 20 Nov 2017 19:22:33
Tbf it it was the right deal financially would make us secure and i guess he would want champions league for the coverage for him, guys a plank but very buisness orientated i would definately consider it

2.) 20 Nov 2017 19:45:21
You would consider it, I’ll let Mike know immediately it’s what he’s been waiting on.

3.) 20 Nov 2017 19:58:41
Hahaha 😂😂😂

4.) 20 Nov 2017 21:06:42
Hell yeah let's be honest though us bears say we've got 200 mil in the bank and businesses worth fortunes i would expect to at least pump in 50 mil overall and never see it back, would you do it, we need champions league back to see any kind of return and aye fat mike if your looking we would consider it on condition s 😂😂

5.) 21 Nov 2017 10:34:23
If Ashley was wanting to invest in Rangers why would he have sold his shares?

05 Oct 2017 13:19:41
I'm sorry but is it just me that thinks charging £55 for a third top we will wear for less than a season is a bit steep? And the home top is same price when they were selling it for a score back in July/ August. Am all for getting behind my team and supporting them financially but surely someone at the club must have some common sense and not try and play on our loyalty that we have shown over the years. Is this Puma or SD pricing it so their cut in the deal is still worth while?

1.) 05 Oct 2017 18:01:52
A football top should cost no more than £40.

2.) 05 Oct 2017 18:54:41
I'm just delighted the sports direct deal is nearly done

3.) 05 Oct 2017 20:39:46
Correct delboy1979,ditch sports direct and puma at the end of this season, get a deal with a new retail partner and get either adidas, nike or under armour as our new kit manufacturers, sorted!

4.) 05 Oct 2017 21:14:02
Damn right delboy👍

5.) 05 Oct 2017 22:46:20
Call me cynical but i suspect the terms of the retail deal haven't changed. Always struggled to swallow the narrative that a guy as greedy and financially motivated as ashley agreed to walk away from a deal so heavily weighed in his favour. Before everyone says that he wasn't benefiting because of the boycott, he was! The terms of the retail deal stated that the club had to buy all unsold stock at retail price.

When Ashley invoiced the club for the millions in unsold stock and king realised we couldn't pay, i believe they came to a mutually beneficial arrangement. King agreed to get the supporters buying the merchandise on the basis that ashley sold his shareholding. This would allow king to pass the motion for a new share issue to finance the summer spending.

6.) 06 Oct 2017 00:37:28
Totally agree with what you're saying wilson0212. I think I'm right in saying the AGM is fast approaching so I'm looking forward to what comes out of that. Overall I think it's a nice top and I'll no doubt buy it just sceptical as to where the money is still going still. Hope the board stick by Pedro he's spent too much to abandon the idea already. Although I woulda liked to have saw Moult and Walker rather than the two Mexicans. Can see us missing out on Moult to a championship side if he keeps going the way he is.

7.) 06 Oct 2017 07:39:10
If that was the case it would have come out by now! Someone would have leaked the details

8.) 06 Oct 2017 10:41:42
Don't think Kenny Miller would have got access to that info Jason! :-)

9.) 06 Oct 2017 10:45:51
@gm90 - Rangers won’t have an option on setting the price. Plus no one is forcing you to buy.

10.) 06 Oct 2017 10:57:55
You think Moult might finish up in the English second division but he's a player that can take us up a level? Oh dear.

11.) 06 Oct 2017 11:03:15
@wilson - would someone as ruthless and financially motivated as Ashley not keep his shares and demanded the retail money due?
He got sent back South with his tail between his legs.

12.) 06 Oct 2017 12:41:02
@bigsam I think Moult would undoubtedly strengthen our attack with Morelos playing off him. But yes, I do think he might end up in the English CHAMPIONSHIP because 1) most of the teams can offer him better wages than us and 2) seeing as he's from Stoke-on-Trent he might favour a move back down south. Not saying championship sides are bigger or better than us. Dembele came from that division and he strengthened that mob.

13.) 06 Oct 2017 17:02:49
wilson, where did u hear that as I've only heard it on rumour sites and nothing of substance.

in fact for every time i hear about us having to buy out all unsold stock, which is unheard of in any deal anywhere. there are just as many people to say that its nonsense and is not part of the deal.

so please confirm u have that as a fact and how u know this for a fact.

14.) 07 Oct 2017 12:28:44
GM90, right. You want to sign a goalscorer so that another goalscorer can play off him. Call the league what you like (even shout it in capitals) but is is still England's second tier. Then you say he'd probably prefer to move south anyway, so what's the point of your fantasy football post? Finally, you find a single instance of a player from that league doing well in the SPhelL to try to justify all your nonsense. Fact is, Moult will never be good enough to play for Rangers. Surely you must have more ambition for our great club than that?

15.) 07 Oct 2017 12:34:56
Ripping us off with the £54.99 price and letting on its £64.99 to start with, yet JD can sell it for £50.

Would be nice to get Cummings in this month and maybe look to bring another in in the summer like Cole. Can see Morelos moving down South wether it’s Championship or bottom of the table PL teams in the summer.

Think he is a great option but not necessarily a first choice. CDM fight for a place between McCrorrie and him I think and that depth is a good thing. Throw Rossiter into that mix aswell. Think we have invested too much in him to discard him just yet and from what I’ve heard and read since he has been playing in the development squad their results have take a turn for the better.

Somewhat agree but I have to say I hink murphy has been brilliant on the left running at players they struggle to deal with him. Jordan Jones was mentioned to me again recently. IMO the way Killie and specifically Clark have spoke about us in recent months I wouldn’t overpay for the boy. Two CB definitely required.

Can you imagine the arse falling out of this Celtic team just like the Liverpool team did under Rodgers. Scott Brown slip against the famous blue would be wonderful.

His first touch was either a bad touch back towards our own goal or a tackle. Horrendous.
