Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

02 Sep 2016 22:59:54
Joey barton has to start at celtic park for us next saturday as far as I'm concerned, this is the game joey signed up for most when he signed for us, he'll excel in this game and although from them he'll get total dogs abuse he'll not cave in or shirk his responsibilities, he's without doubt a big game player and IS the best midfielder on show with the ability he has and if he plays to his best he'll walk alĺ over brown and co with ease and could be the difference of us winning or not, GO ON JOEY let's put on a dominant show and let them see how good you are, I know he won't freeze.

02 Sep 2016 21:52:04
Next wk is not the time to try a new formation or new partnerships are u all mad plus senderos, holt, windass, crooks, waghorn, wilson, dodoo, forrester are not even match fit there's 8 players who could all stake a claim for a first team place, this isn't the same celtic team, players, mentality were playin as last year there a lot more dangerous were as I think just now were very much weaker a game against linfield ain't going to prepare those afore mentioned players for this old firm or get them match fit MW won't experiment or try new partnerships nxt wk i fear for us nxt wk I really do were not ready for this game yet we don't even know our best formation yet.

02 Sep 2016 23:59:47
Slydog, never fear old firm games mate, embrace them and what will be will be! let's go out and play to our own strengths and see where it takes us, we're certainly not afraid of them and nor we should be! They're nothing special!

03 Sep 2016 00:36:06
Warburtonthefifteenth what exactly are our strenghs? MW doesn't know our strongest formation posters are mentioning players to play in a old firm who haven't kicked a ball in our first team and who others who haven't played for weeks we haven't got a settled team or formation yet posters are wanting crooks senderos windass holt waghorn in a team that are not even match fit never mind even been on the pitch together going to celtic nxt wk is not a time for new partnerships or debuts or players who are not fit we haven't even got the basics of MW knowin his best formation or team were going to struggle next week our defense can't defend add a new cb into that who isn't fit is even worse.

03 Sep 2016 06:50:52
Agree with most of most of your post slydog apart from waghorn as he's only missed a few wks bu t those who want crooks in for Sat are crazy.

03 Sep 2016 12:29:45
The one thing MW certainly knows is his formation, he has changed it only once since taking charge.
Senderos has been training with us for 3 weeks I'm sure a player of his experience could easily come in. If Holt
And Windass are fit then they should at least make the bench as they offer something different to what we have.
We are four games into a new season with 11 new players and this is a football banter page, people are expressing their opinions on what they think is our strongest starting 11. Calm down man.

03 Sep 2016 17:22:23
Recbob, your missing the point. players can train all day but it does not make them match fit/ sharp throw in debuts new partnerships the intensity of an old firm the team we've been watching is still gelling as it is now its going to have to gel all over again pre season was shambolic I don't even know how this team plays without the ball which we will find out next week we've dominated poss in all games so far this season we won't have that next week.

02 Sep 2016 19:40:28
Improving the defensive side of our game doesn't necessarily mean bringing in a bunch of centre halves that are better than what is at the club.

Rossiter, Barton, Crooks, Senderos are all players who are going to make us more difficult to defeat.

Criticising the defence hasn't been difficult recently but Senderos will improve things and the likes of Crooks, Rossiter and Barton will be crucial in protecting the back four.

As said before though, none of the three can play together. One out of the three per game, whether against, Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts or anyone else in the league.

02 Sep 2016 23:15:26
U should be a manager mate it's not as easy as that. u have to get them fit.

02 Sep 2016 19:29:34
Looking to the old firm i reckon we've got to start moh, any time he played them with st Johnstone he was a big threat it might seem a bit mad but i'd have him instead of barrie, personally i think we've got to go with pace i'd love also to see dodoo aswell.

02 Sep 2016 20:21:49
I totally agree i know mckay came on to a game at the end of the kilmarnock game, but he is not showing enough for me just yet. He always turns back. I think moh with his pace would really help!

02 Sep 2016 20:55:47
I like wee Barrie but he has been off the boil recently and i would like to see O'halloran find his break in our team.

I would play Mckay on the left in the old firm and have O'halloran on the right and see how that goes.?

What is the extent of doddos' injury though?

02 Sep 2016 22:10:50
I think moh better as impact sun when the game is streched.

02 Sep 2016 23:08:22
McKay on left Miller through the middle and MOH on the right
Forrester in behind with Barton or Rossiter alongside Halliday. If either wide player is struggling put Forrester in there and bring Krancjar on in the number 10 role not to mention Waggy or Garner 🔴⚪️🔵.

02 Sep 2016 17:55:15
I won't be surprised if miller starts at parkhead, Kenny has a knack for scoring goals against them and in the big games.

02 Sep 2016 19:30:22
Love Kenny Miller and think everyone's expecting him to start ahead of Garner, with Waghorn on the right, McKay on the left, Barton in a holding role, Halliday and Forrester in the more advanced midfield roles.

Kind of expecting Senderos to start alongside Keirnan for the Celtic game.

02 Sep 2016 20:28:28
Senderos won't be match fit and way of the pace. Kris Boyd was like Usain Bolt against the back line Sums it up. Fast pacey and more skilfully players will have a field day especially if Hill starts.

02 Sep 2016 20:51:21
Garner would be a liability in the OF game as he just runs about the pitch committing fouls and I am sure the atmosphere would make him worse.

02 Sep 2016 22:35:21
Bosshogg how can you say he will be a liability, give him a chance lol he's played 60 odd mins and is already being wrote off.

02 Sep 2016 23:11:04
That's a bit harsh I think, he wears his heart on his sleeve which is a good thing but agree that it could boil over in that atmosphere however I think we should give him a chance of a few games before we see what he's really like.
I'd start K Miller every time against them at celtic park.

02 Sep 2016 10:34:50
Has anyone read Serge Atakayi' interview on the Daily Record yet? the boy seems determined as hell to prove he is the next big thing. I reckon he'll be a great signing for us.

02 Sep 2016 14:22:57
really hope so but he's not the first one to say that when playing for u17's.

02 Sep 2016 14:29:00
throw him into the old firm game-----.

02 Sep 2016 14:31:17
Would be great to see someone like Liam Burt get a run out in the Scottish Cup this season.

02 Sep 2016 15:01:06
would be great to give the young boys a run in both cups this season, great for their development and great to uncover the ones that may be ready for the step up!

02 Sep 2016 18:21:15
You reckon the young lad will be a great signing for us because there was a good article in the daily record about him? Mmmmmm.

02 Sep 2016 23:28:51
and if he is he can walk in 3 years and we get SFA.

02 Sep 2016 10:27:11
has anyone heard if holt will be back for next week!
hope to god M/ W do not start with niko or barton think we will need some pace and some grit in the midfield that well they two can't give but they can give us a bit of class in there when they get a little tired.

02 Sep 2016 11:40:58
Barton built his career on grit so I'd have to disagree on that one. I agree about Niko though this might be a game to soon for him to make an impact from the start, be a good sub though.
Got a feeling this will be Bartons proper introduction to the Gers fans. Let's face it with the career he's had he wasn't coming up here for the Killie or Hamilton games, he will be licking his lips at the thought of playing against them and getting the better of Broon.

02 Sep 2016 12:45:13
IMO team will be:

Fod
Tav Kiernan Sendaros Wallace
Rossiter Barton
Halliday
Mackay Miller Garner.

02 Sep 2016 13:12:01
No Chance Barton, Rossiter and Halliday will start mate.

Fod
Tavernier, Senderos, Wilson, Wallace
Barton, Windass, Forrester
Waghorn, Garner, Mackay

Myt not be the most defensive team there, but certainly a lot of energy in that team.

02 Sep 2016 14:19:13
Fod
Tavernier, Senderos, Wilson, Wallace
Barton, Rossiter,
Forrester, Windass, Mackay
Garner

Team I'd go with.
Don't think Waghorn/ Holt/ Crooks will be ready to start and I'd bring on Niko n Miller if req.
Barton and Rossiter will be very important if MW asks FBs to work both halves.

02 Sep 2016 14:19:27
Wow, some player he must be if only willing to perform against one team! A team he has supported all his life I may add lol.

02 Sep 2016 14:04:28
Would be surprised if Miller is not in the starting lineup.

02 Sep 2016 14:24:20
Quote me on this mate, kenny miller WILL start against celtic next saturday, his experience in these old firm games is vital and he always scores against them!

02 Sep 2016 14:27:21
a game too soon for niko?
he's as fit as he' is going to get, he is a luxury player, which we do not need at the moment. The excuse from the weekend was that we had 10 new players and we were 'gelling' and getting fit? Killie signed a whole new team of nobodies, and still did alright.
Something has to change and I hope it starts with defence. If we are secure there, then the rest of the team which has a few potentially very good players will gain confidence, with confidence comes performance with performance comes results.
Onward and upward.

02 Sep 2016 14:34:56
WhatAteam

I like the idea of your team and a deserving starting 11. I'm just not convinced about Waghorn's left footedness playing wide right. I've never seen a more left footed left footer than him (okay, Cooper, but he was in a class of his own) and I'd go for Dodoo or O'Halloran on the right.

02 Sep 2016 15:09:24
would anyone else like to play a 4.4.2

wes
tav senders Wilson Wallace
forrester rossiter barton McKay
miller garner.

two cdm help our defence whilst we still have the attacking part of our game.
id have holt in the team if fit before barton that's just imo he is better.

02 Sep 2016 16:02:33
Fod
Tav, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace
Rossiter, Barton,
Windass/ Holt/ Krancjar,
Waghorn, McKay
Miller.

Cant pick between the three but i think it'll be two holding presence players, one attacking influence and for me after watching a few of their games, their weakness is in the width. They play far too narrow and if we can double up on their wing backs with overlaps we should find space.

02 Sep 2016 18:57:26
No point in even putting that out there as its never going to happen.433 and fight fire with fire and get the personnell right and we'l not b far off. COME ON BEARS!

02 Sep 2016 19:47:47
Last a heard he was about 6 weeks off, still doing gym work but not running yet, we do miss the wee man though.

03 Sep 2016 09:43:03
What a team, I like your lineup but I agree with kfraser, I just don't like waggy anywhere but centre, he offers very little from out wide imo.

02 Sep 2016 09:01:03
I can't be the only person who thinks our defence isn't bad at all.

02 Sep 2016 10:33:25
kiernan has a few lapses in concentration and looks a bit nervous which is understandable due to the abuse from fans, tav and wallace go gung-ho up the park (which they are told to do) but even when they are back they add no defensive capabilities both are shocking when trying to defend. we will concede goals we are an attacking team now we aren't the rangers of old with the defensive football.

02 Sep 2016 10:39:20
I wouldn't say it's "bad", I would say we need to find 2 CB that are compatible and stick with them.

I think we all agree we must do better.

02 Sep 2016 10:49:35
you might be.

02 Sep 2016 10:52:02
It's the current form that is my only concern! We have the talent in the squad and they just need a bit of confidence and to show some aggression. Senderos has the experience to lead from example now! For what it's worth Celtic don't worry me at all. They have zero players that have ever put in a big performance in a big match! We have Senderos, Barton, Niko! If we play to our potential we will win!

02 Sep 2016 11:30:11
Put it this way. The difference makers in the Celtic team that weren't at their club last time we demolished them are Sinclair and Dembele. Honestly don't know if I've left anyone out, just not as up on everything Celtic like some "Rangers" fans are.

We were without Waghorn, Forrester and couldn't even fill the bench and fans are going into this match with the fear?

As for the defence, it might be the area of the pitch where we needed to strengthen the most in the summer, but the HM role was more crucial and we've now got almost half a dozen players who can play that role. It's up to the manager to get the choice correct, not the fans.

02 Sep 2016 11:48:42
I think it's a mixture of things that make us look so vulnerable at the back and signing Senderos isn't going to change that over night but it will give us a more solid foundation to start with. Kiernan and Wilson have had plenty of time to click and it just hasn't happens for them.
Kiernan is the weak link and when he's not playing I think it will take away some of the nervousness.
Wilson and Senderos look like they could work on paper, one ball playing CB and one more rugged CB usually works so here's hoping. To be fair I think Kiernan could look better bedside Senderos as well.
I disagree about Tav and Wallace, Tav's defending has been spot on this year and he's been by far our best player. Wallace hasn't started the season well but he can defend once he gets his game back.
I still think the answer to all our troubles is to line up 4-2-3-1 the same as Man U and City. It suits our personell more what with all the CDM's we now have. Maybe just for the bigger games anyway.

02 Sep 2016 12:33:59
Just think the squad has took longer than expected to get up to speed, for me due to a terrible preseason which just didn't challenge us in the right way, imagine if mw could build it up the way he liked to the Burnley game I think we would have been looking a lot better right now. Celtic have played a lot more games than us especially against quality oppositions so they were always going to start faster, that and we have made many more signings.

02 Sep 2016 13:31:16
Recbob I totally agree with you regarding a 4-2-3-1 formation, I think with the squad we have that would be the ideal formation, but and its a big but, the gaffer won't change his 4-3-3 formation, he has his own ideas and he won't change them for no one, this is how I would like to see us line up at parkhead
Fod
Tav. Senderos. Wilson. Wallace
Barton. Rossiter
Waghorn. Kranjcar. McKay
Garner
Subs. gilks, forrester, kiernan, Miller, hodson, crooks, haliday

Anyway something like that would suit me, plus Celtic wouldn't be expecting us to change formation, which would surprise them.

02 Sep 2016 14:03:26
RFC Infinity,

I disagree with your comment regarding no current Celtic Player performing in important games,

Leigh Griffiths scored against yous in the first Celtic V The Rangers game at hampden, additionally he has scored in important champs league qualifies this season,

gamboa played in a world cup quarter final.

Toure has played in African cup of nations final and both Champs League and Europa League Finals, also he was at the heart of the Arsenal Invincibles Run.

Scott Sinclair has played in the championship play off final (richest game in the world)

can i ask what important games niko and barton have played in and done well in?

02 Sep 2016 14:09:39
RossW, your comment is way inaccurate as well.

whats harder?

to adjust to bringing in set amount players to a team that have played together for a year under a management duo that are still at the club

or

Bringing five players into a team that has just changed manager and the entire roster and club getting used to the new managers methods and practices?

its not about who has started quicker, its down to managment skills and squad quality, and to be honest Celtic have a more experienced and tacticly astute manager and they have signed better quality players (because the have the finance to do so) this is the reason they have started better. Come the end of the season Celtic will win the league by at least 10 points.

02 Sep 2016 14:15:05
Thorne,

can i ask how were Celtic demolished by the Rangers?

did rangers have more clear cut chances?
did rangers win in 90 mins?
did rangers win in 120 mins?

possession stats and the pen shootout aside. in what way were Celtic demolished as i seem to remember rangers having 9 shots, whilst celtic had 33. both had a similar amount of corners.

02 Sep 2016 14:15:06
Everyone knew that we would have to play these cup games well in advance so that's not an excuse for the poor preseason. We could easily have played more games and was the trip to the states really necessary.

02 Sep 2016 14:23:14
I agree with the 4-2-3-1 recbob. Would help out by giving extra protection to the defence while still being able to attack the way MW wants to.

02 Sep 2016 14:30:59
wish people would stop referring to the last Old Firm game.
It was a one off, not 1 Celtic player played well and if there was any luck going we got it. Great day, great result.
Enjoy it - - now move on.

02 Sep 2016 14:39:03
Demolished may have exaggerated it a bit, it is a Rangers forum after all.

Did you watch the first half though Kaney1983?

Think every Celtic fan that day was counting their lucky stars that the game went to penalties. They were completely outplayed by a team they thought were a non entity.

We have significantly improved the team that DEMOLISHED Celtic. Celtic have only added two players who have improved their attacking options. Our squad depth has been added to in every area of the pitch.

02 Sep 2016 15:44:28
kaney 1983, even the most green eyed of selik fans will admit they where done by the better team on that day we played you off the pitch and for the rangers having 9 shotys to your 33 I don't know where u got your stats from but we where dominant that whole game and where unlucky not to be 4 up in the first half on that game . selik had a good 5 mins in the first half and 10 mins to 15 mins in the second the rest of the time selik where defending and rangers where running rampid .
we might not have beat yous by the difference we deserved but that doesn't mean that we didn't show yous how to plsy football that day.

02 Sep 2016 16:07:39
Completely disregarding the fact we are just promoted and we have added first team players across the board why would bringing in a new manager with the same core team take longer to gel? Can tell by how you construct your arguments that you aren't quite quite as smart as me. You lost in Astana and scrapped champions league qualification against nobodies you think your tactically sound because you went from a rubbish manager to a better one he hasn't shown anything special but you know green tinted specs and all that. I'll ask you to never directly comment to me again I'm not interested on what a Celtic fan has to say on a Rangers forum surrounding a discussions with Rangers fans. As I've said already your only here because you think you'll win you were missing when you couldn't even be bothered attending your games. You brought in 5 players over the space of a month and bedded them in gradually you have no basis to try and argue against the start both team's have made so please don't directly refer to me or comment to me again I don't have the time for your nonsense.

02 Sep 2016 16:40:18
Thorne, Celtic missed an open goal and we're half an inch away from winning it, and tbh Barton and niko have not improved you they have stopped your fluency. Also we're is the improvement in defence senderos? Attack well ill give garner time before I say he's an improvement over 28 goal (14 pens) waghorn. Rossiter, doddo i do rate as a big prospects though. The rest I. e gilks, crooks, windass, hill, hodson, are not any better than what u have.

02 Sep 2016 18:56:46
You know a lot about Rangers for a Celtic fan and you spend about much time on here as anyone else. Want to go onto Celtic Rumours, contribute to your own forum, socialise with your own fans. Doesn't matter what you say no one realistically values your opinion here.

02 Sep 2016 19:09:24
RossW, were to attack your peice is the question.

i have been a Celtic season ticket holder for 11 years, attended 95% of the games at home in that time.

and as for you being smart, i think you'll find we drew away with astana, it was the imps we lost too and HBS away (so much for you being smart, maybe you should check your facts before you post) .

Additionally as for showing something special, i do believe we are top of the league with a game in hand and as much as you like to highlight the struggle we ARE in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE group stage, whilst the rangers fans are having a meltdown with regards to drawing with hamilton and killie (not to mention 30 mins against 10 men), and it took a late winner to beat Motherwell at home (coincidentally a team we thumped at home)

i will in future direct my opinions towards you if i think you are inaccurate with your statements.

the fact that you even suggested that it doesn't take long for a team to get used to a new manager and his methods shows that you do not understand football.

your starting 11 in most games this season consists of the same formation and 9 players from last season with barton or either rossiter or niko, am i wrong? whilst celtics is a whole new system, training methods, formation and approach.

celtics last starting 11 contained de vries, toure, and sinclair, so 3 new players.

the rangers last starting 11 contained dodoo, barton and rossiter, so 3 new players

so to query your statement again can you explain how your slow start (in contrary to celtics better start) is down to new players when both teams are fielding on average the same amount of new players in their starting 11.

02 Sep 2016 20:19:02
;rabof thank you for the compliment. it is appreciated.

with regard to the New Club debate can any of the rangers fans who have a good grasp and understanding of scots law and corporate structuring please pitch in.

from official fifa correspondance "Rangers’ perilous financial position had been an open secret but there was still shock when, after 140 years of history and a world record 54 league titles, the club was consigned to liquidation in mid-June. "

Also when Rangers played Brechin in August 2012 they did so on a, “conditional membership” of the SFA, while the old club still held their membership!

So in August 2012 there were simultaneously TWO legal entities with SFA memberships, both calling themselves “Rangers. ” So how can the current Rangers possibly be the same club as the one founded in 1872, when they were simultaneously members of the SFA?

If The Rangers are the same club and never went anywhere then why in 12/ 13 season were rangers made to play qualifying rounds in the scottish cup if their history was intact, they should have started in the 3rd round as the scottish cup is based on league placings from previous year, when rangers finished 2nd, additionally why weren't they entered into the europa league?

02 Sep 2016 23:30:54
If these guys are MW's favourites, should we be concerned by his selection criteria?

02 Sep 2016 23:09:12
Yes Thorn, but look at the start they have made and Sinclair has been firing and Forrest and Rogic have been on hot form.

02 Sep 2016 08:36:11
Did anyone see senderos presser yesterday 🙈 how the hell did these journos get into the business they are morons . some of the questions they ask are baffling no questions about how he is going to fit in to team or what his game is all about . but questions on celtic, new signing at arsenal and how villa are going to do this season i'm surprised rangers still do these pressers cause warburton looks like he wants to walk out at times with idiotic questions he gets . if i was at rangers i would get rangers tv to do it then just release it to all news outlets and say here you go.

02 Sep 2016 11:04:43
They ask leading or loaded questions in the hope that the player responds the way they want them to so they have the next days headline on the sports page.

Their questioning has nothing to do with getting information to inform readers.

02 Sep 2016 11:08:08
Unfortunately that would be how they do it in state sponsored fascist nations and dictatorships.

02 Sep 2016 11:08:08
Unfortunately that would be how they do it in state sponsored fascist nations and dictatorships.

02 Sep 2016 13:36:45
Yeah i watched it and wondered myself why they were asking him about the new arsenal player and about the new villa players, bit of a waste of questions if you ask me, but that's the media for u, they only want a headline.

02 sep 2016 23:32:15
or mufc and chelsea when it suits them.

02 Sep 2016 07:06:16
I think its time now we all stopped the bitching about if senderos was the right defender to get and how we look shakey at the back, and getting on the players and managers back.

Lets get right behind the team now and at the games create a loud positve atmos for the players and support them. We are still unbeaten at least and the team will gel and come together soon.

02 sep 2016 10:06:28
hope they come together within 8 days.

02 Sep 2016 10:20:55
Couldn't agree more with u Dutchboy1.How many of us thought we would actually beat that lot in the cup semi-final? . No reason why we can't do it again! Then we can all spend £20 buying all the next days papers!

02 Sep 2016 12:39:52
Celtic have a stronger side this year but a think once we gel better we can match them.

02 Sep 2016 13:42:29
I personally think senderos is a great signing, he will bring much needed physicality at set pieces, which we can all agree is much required, he is exactly the type of defender that we need, someone who will win the ball in the air, really looking forward to seeing him play now.

02 Sep 2016 15:47:23
I think he will be a really good signing too and hope he brings the best out of danny Wilson who for me didn't try hard enough in a lot of the games last year. didn't play with the heart that he had when he was at hearts or when big davie was barking out orders to him.

02 Sep 2016 05:47:06
Anyone seen the young Finland boy on you tube? Let him loose on the Celtic!

02 Sep 2016 06:53:53
Could stick him on the bench and let him loose last 10-15 mins mabay, is he good not seen him?

02 Sep 2016 08:10:44
You can't possibly say that after watching a couple of 5 minute youtube clips of the boy, yes the clips make him look sharp but if you look up Nicklas Bendtner it also makes him look like a wonder striker haha! Far too early for him to be considered, let Warbs have a look at him over the next few weeks and decide if he's ready to make the step up or not.

02 Sep 2016 10:07:12
what position does he play.

02 Sep 2016 12:12:10
Right Wing.

02 Sep 2016 12:39:49
He's a winger mate.

02 Sep 2016 19:36:43
Think he will be included on the bench for some matches this seson.

02 Sep 2016 23:21:33
Either wing. Lightening fast strong. Not much there to like.

02 Sep 2016 03:31:31
Does anyone think holt, windass, dodoo, crooks or senderos will be match fit for the old firm?

I hope that Senderos is fit. He should be. I really don't want Hill anywhere near the team if Wilson is still injured and Senderos needs to be in there rather than Kiernan, (or Wilson) .

Unless they all play in the Linfield game for at least an hour or more and even then I'd have my doubts. Personally hope Holt makes it as we've really missed him and probably Senderos in the hope he does strengthen the defence. Have a feeling if he does start it will be alongside Kiernan as Warbs seem to rate him though on form of last few months don't know why. Dodoo wasn't training the other day (couldn't see him in any of the pics), neither was Crooks but he played the night before. Windass might make the bench for the 10th. As always just my opinion-no inside info. I'm afraid.

senders is fit he has been doing well in training and I hope holt at least is fit.

Agree with yous all there, i also want to see more of windass a think he could be a good player for us and take runs forward with the ball and tke players on which we lack.

Holt and windass are back training so might make some sort of appearance.

Holt and Sebderos.

I notice most people on here always miss out barton and kranjcar in their team selection for celtic these have to be our highest earners I think, I'm not saying that guarantees a starting slot but if your no going to play them it's just a waste of money even in wages I see people like forester and windass as subs and future starters I would go with 4-4-2 against celtic with waghorn and garner up front really attack them I think they'll expect us to sit in and hit them on the counter attack go on and stuff them lay down a marker for the rest of the season give them something to think about.

Please please do, with the pace of Sinclair, Roberts and Griffiths, we would run riot.

02 Sep 2016 07:58:02
Two of those players were at the semi final fabadabadoo and they're was no riot ran by any Celtic player.

02 Sep 2016 08:07:33
well Barton and kranjcar don't play at the back. with the pace of brown and Bitton in midfield I am sure you will play better than you did in April.

02 Sep 2016 09:25:13
Just remember Roberts is away after this season.

02 Sep 2016 09:48:38
Just like roberts and the thumb did back i april (quiver quiver)

02 Sep 2016 10:10:32
hope we do play the 4 4 2 as we need to styfull their quick players.

02 Sep 2016 10:29:07
@ fabadabadoo - They will only get the ball if your midfield turn up this time! Hopefully they don't lose their bottle like they usually do when a game matters!

02 Sep 2016 12:02:23
I don't think a 442 will styfull or even stifle our wingers but a 451 might if you have the players at your disposal.

02 Sep 2016 11:16:52
And were your tactics as described in the op post? Did you play a 442? No . You just seen Sinclair, Roberts and Griffiths run riot and wet your pants or do you agree that you should play a 442 and come at us hell for leather?
