I suspect his agent is using use to negotiate a higher salary with Millwall. I’d like him to sign but his name has been mentioned on here for 4 years and the move never materialise’s. I believe a few people on here (who most people trust) have said he’s knocked us back multiple times.

What Dado said happens all the time and has been called out on here with various different players throughout this summer. Some manager using the name of a large team to secure more money or a move for one of their clients. This could be no different.

Speaking of this guy can people tell me what they see in him? I don't get what the fuss is about. I've never seen him play, I've only seen YouTube footage and he isn't anything special. He's tall, that's all I can see.

He’s a monster of a player Kilted. I doubt he’d lose anything in the air. I’ve not seen to much of him so I can’t comment on all aspects of his game but my gut feel is he’d be better than Davies.

Jake Cooper loves playing for Millwall. He has the club crest tattooed on him and everything. It’s going to take a lot to pull him away from there. Jake is at an age now whereby he might view this as a last chance to get that big move. If Rangers can get peak Jake Cooper on a 4 year deal we’ll be laughing.

Someone asked what do you see in this player. The lad is 6’6 and extremely dominant in the air. He gets a good return of goals and assists from set-pieces, he’s use to playing those long Championship seasons without injury, and is a real leader. I’ve been a fan of Jake’s for years and he’s be a massive asset in both boxes. Jake would clear everything out of our own box while providing a constant threat in the oppositions - He’s pretty solid defensively too.

Souttar can’t be relied upon thru injury to play2/ 3 games a week.
I think if copper signs he a first pick with one of Goldson or Souttar, personally I think it Stella be Goldson but that’s irrelevant, balogun all he 4th choice by looks of it and king out on loan.
I wonder if Davies does move would we then sign another centre back as Souttar injury prone and balogun fitness an issue aswell so it’s a bit iffy.

I think Goldson has lost a yard or two of pace since his injury last season, he was never the quickest. We need someone with pace at RCB to cover for Tav’s defensive shortcomings. We have looked vulnerable to the ball over the top since the season began.

Not seen much of Cooper but I know he`s dominant in the air at both ends of the pitch which is a major plus. My big concern would be, how mobile is he because our main opponents in the league don`t play with big guys up front, they have three nippy wee forwards that are in around your feet and full of sharp movements . If he can cope with that then let's get him signed.

Beale just been told the same thing today. He's a player we know inside out as have been tracking for years. I have been told this by 3 different people. I has unquestionable ties in our club. Second is an agent close to coopers camp and third has connections at both clubs through his job within a scouting agency.
He would be a cracking signing in my book. A proper old school CB that won't be bullied and a threat in both boxes.

I think cooper would do well for us dominant and good judgement in the air which is sumthing we need and have lacked for a while might stop us getting caught so often with long ball over the top concern i'd have is how he might cope on the ground with pace against him. The championship is a higher standard than our league so if he's played there so long can't be that bad. Hard to get a player whos stayed at the same club for so long tho if we did get him homesick and change could hamper him ? we find out i'd take anything half decent right now rather than nothing at all ?‍♂️.

Beale when Millwall go to Leeds the coaches are held in a group outside the city and ushered in by a right load of cops, I know a few Millwall fans and they want to destroy Leeds, this season it's looked forward to very much. Been to the Den myself and they are not what people say they are, was a great day.
