Probably far too late but who else thinks that a friendly at Ibrox should be arranged ASAP we usually play Linefield pre-season and i'm sure it could and should be arranged. .
Could play 2 different teams 1st and 2nd half!
Think it would be great for the fans to see the new boys playing together and against Linefield I would think that the chances of injures highly unlikely.

A friendly against a decent side would be better linfield are mince it's just a chance to flaunt our biggoted side I'd sooner not bother play someone that would pack out ibrox benfica would be good since we have done business with them or arrange a game against one of the Mexican sides in their close season to me that would be more appealing

Can Pedro and Big Alves make a player out of Tav?
I really wanted Big Patterson and felt Tav could be a good right mid, now kinda hoping Alves can talk him through a game and sort him out as I do feel he has potential but his defending has been very poor to date. 🙏😏.

Well I can't see tav giving pelters to Bruno the way he did bates at end of season so maybe, but it's a bit of a risk no bringing one in to challenge the position as hodgson isn't challenging it

I think generally speaking the improvements to our CB pairing and midfield should help out both tav and Wallace if we don't bring in anyone else to replace them. We seem to have recruited more powerful players that have better defensive attributes than what we had last season so we should be a stronger unit altogether which would help out tav, at least that's my theory.

It would be hard for any centre half to talk Tav through a game seeing as he's always in the other half. I would hope we get Abella and push Tav up to right mid. His stats show he's offers far more going forward than defending

Tell me if I'm wrong but as far as I am aware we now have Dalcio aa LW and Candieas RW as back up we have McKay and Atayaki who is untested but I do think he's going to be great. Problem being if McKay does go will we bring in another Winger? Will it be Weiss? I reallyhope so as imo McKay has made up his mind not to sign. Also due to the register date of the 18/ 19th for players so they can play in Europa Lge I think wehave a ccouple more transfers of real quality in pipeline!
Wether McKay has been sold or not if another Winger comes then I think he's off and I think it's due to wages! I feel hid agent has probably guaranteed him wages of 20k plus which we are not willing to pay.

A little different to Dutch period to Be honest. The de bore twins, Numan, van bronckhorst. All Dutch internationals at the time. With exception of Albers most of these players are being signed for their potential. Just my opinion 👍🏼

We should be winnine every other game so the point gap should be no more than 7 or 8 points, u are basically giving them the points for all old firm games and saying we will lose to one of the other 10 teams? We need to be aiming higher than this, we need to take them to the wire and the level of investment we are receiving now should show dividends on the pitch

I said this a couple of weeks ago and a lot of people disagreed. Vitor Pereira was meant to be our manager when Warburton was brought in with Caixhina his assistant but it fell through as we never won promotion. It was clearly evident last summer Warburton was not trusted.

well folks, like everyone else, if they are honest, have not a clue how good most signings will turn out to be, but for sure it looks like a real attempt to get us where we should be, could be great but let's hope, just back from rangers convention in vegas and King's speech was a real eye opener, in particular how certain newspapers (no guesses which) twisted his words on the 30million which would be required, anyway here's hoping we see football worth watching this coming season

Glad to see resonable money being spent on the squad and new players coming in and team probably being reshaped ect ect but what wirries me is with a few of the new boys being south american what if they settle well and play blinders week in week out and become an important part of the team and are the pulled away on international duty at important points of the season as does the south american tourneys abd qualifiers ect not get played at different times from the euro internationals?

All international qualifying games or friendlys are played at the same time and I'm sure the copa America is played in the same pre season as the euros I think it's just the Africa cup of nations which couses a problem as it's in mid season but we don't haft to worry about that as even if he stays Ghana would need about 25 injuries to there front men for dodoo to get called up

7-12 = some factors will contribute to these, such as, will we replace Hodson? Can Windass and crooks come good? Does McKay give a sausage about the gears? (I am unconvinced on this one) Finally, are dodoo and Holt really good enough for the squad or should we look to replace over coming season?

I think these players will all leave. I don't rate holt and halliday but I think we will struggle to offload them and I suppose they are decent squad players.

Just my opinion but I think too many new players are being brought in at the one time. 4 / 5 max would've been plenty. But seems like Pedro is aiming for a whole new team.
And let's face it, we know nothing about any of these players. So as far as I'm concerned, ALL of them are a gamble.

Ped the deal maker, has brought in Alves, jack, Dalcio (loan) , cardoso, which is technically 4, but actaually its 6 and going to become 7 today.
The 2 Mexican guys are getting paraded next week after receiving all the clearances that was required, making the 6.
It will become 7 today, as the Portuguese winger is signing a 3 year deal.
Okay that's already 7, although 3 still of those still need to be paraded. But still it's still 7 in reality.
So Peds nearly there and I think after the Portuguese guy gets done ✅ today. It then frees the club or super Ped to work on the final pieces of his jigsaw, which will be Dorrans and Alfredo Moreles. These will be next week.
And there might be 1 or 2 more but after he gets his above priority signings.
I think it's quite amazing how Peds timed all this to perfection! Even right down to smartly announcing Alves as there first signing That's why Ped and the board are getting all our top targets, not the second or third choice. I think it's incredible how he and the board managed to go about this and they deserve a lot of praise for the there fantastic strategic work. Well done

I'm looking forward to seeing our new line-up on the field! The way we have bought this window is a clear sign of intent from the board and also from PC. Once we clear some more players from the books It'll be much better too! I can see Mckay staying if he commits himself contractually and physically, but i have a gut feeling also that MOH could be used as part of a deal for Walker which will all but see off Mckay imo.

I agree seems like anytime Celtic want to sign these spl players the doors are open and there welcomed in for talks seems to me like spl clubs get angry when we ask about players. it was only paper talk about henigen and mault yet Motherwell had there backs up straight away already demanding x amount soon as I seen that I thought f them we will go else we're. Definitely seems like some sort of grudge or jealousy going on towards us imo.

i for one am pleased with peds tranfers and targets to date, albeit I`ve not heard of most of them but most are internationalists, compared to warbs recruits, glad he has money backing from board. I am quietly confident he will get it right, first and foremost we need a winning team on the park. I would forget about the young boys for the moment, give them game time if we are winning comfortly I don`t think any of our young players are exceptional, it might sound harsh, but Aird, Walsh, Wylde etc. to name a few were good but not great, so well done pedro, 10/ 10 for the board also.

So far we have alves, jack, dalcio (loan), cardozo and if permits etc go through. Pena, Herrera, Colombian lad and in top of that candieas, dorrans and maybe walker from hearts. That's 10 in total unless Iv missed anyone, I think it's time we start looking to clear the decks a bit, I know it'll be hard to move on but if we let clubs take the deadwood for free at least it would free up the wages but I'm hopeful we can get a bit of cash in for these guys. The squad as a whole is now shaping up nicely and now we can fully judge Pedro as a manager now he has got husband own players and been backed by the board.

I find it hard to believe warbs had the money pedro is being backed with, yet truly believed he could win SPL with accrington stanley and league 2 players - ok he's not the best manager but surely he's not that stupid?
has DK had this money all along or has someone come in to invest that's being kept quiet.
heard a whisper someone from middle east are funding this and they had a say in pedro being hired from quatar
anyway absl delighted with the optimism finnaly surrounding our great club- young columbian lad sounds exciting as does penã and i can't wait to see big bruno win some headers!

I agree James 2016 about offloading as much of the dead wood from last season as we can as soon as we can but probably most of them apart from MOH maybe we would try and punt to lower league English clubs and their transfer window doesn't open till 1st July. Several League One clubs interested in Windass and Scunthorpe want Crooks back but there would be several others I would get rid of before them. Kiernan would be top of the list for me but he's been nowhere near training this week so maybe he's been paid off already. If he has OK but surely there's some poor deluded fool out there who thinks he's a good defender and would be prepared to waste a few hundred thousand on him (are you listening, Warbs? )

I believe the money had always been there. However the issue for King was that he didn't trust Warburton with the money. This was down to his purchase of MOH and then his dealings in the summer transfer window last year.
