Looking at this game tonight and Hibs will absolutely turn us over going by their form. More desire, fight and commitment than our bunch of impostors.
I look at our team and all I see are 10 outfield players who are totally interchangeable, the strikers can't strike, the midfielders can't create and the defenders can't defend. Swap them round and it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference who played where. They're all as gash as each other.

Well they were the answer last night. Don't tell me you wouldn't have rather had they two boys in your team instead of the two we signed instead, Pena and Herrera? Would they have helped us get closer to Celtic? I would have thought so.

Seen bookies had slashed odds. Problem is that position is probably our strongest but all very young. McCrorie, Dcoherty, Jack and Rossiter (if he can stay off a stetcher) . Dorrans needs to play further forward and find the player in him we all know he can be.

Miller, Alves, Martin and possibly Wallace all likely go in summer. I think that leaves only Dorrans over 30. We lost the head after penalty given last night and half time couldn't come quick enough - we need experienced pros to calm it down. Decisions go against you, but can't let it make you lose focus; good experience in the mix can stop that happening.

Anybody else think there is more to the foderingham situation than that's getting said all of a sudden he's injured and not been seen at all plus he hasn't been on twitter at all not saying that's a big thing just weird he's not gave an update at all on himself plus it matches the time of the annoucement we wanted mcgregor back which i heard is a done deal just wondering anyone elses thoughts on this

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Foderinham leave in the summer.
At least we would get a transfer fee for him
I counted 17 players I think we should get rid off today
The problem is only 6 are out of contract/ loan
I can see it being difficult to off load a few of them
The standard is very average across the squad and lacks consistency if you ask me

A few tic fans in work saying they will beat Aberdeen because they always try and finish the season strong they will play a strong team to set them up for the cup final.

If right that just leaves it in our hands. We need go beat Hibs. If we deserve 2nd place we just need to beat hibs.

Good point without really playing well. I know there are thoughts that Celtic will lie down to them but can't see it. A draw at Easter road would be good enough for 2nd and I think if we match them for fight then it should get done. I would live the sheep to finish 4th but end of day makes no difference. Heard McGinn is being touted around but gers have said not interested. Think SG has alternatives in mind, hope so!

They might not lie down to Aberdeen but with a Cup Final coming up I can't see them going at it 100%.

As for McGinn, I reckon he's a fantastic prospect. Would improve our team instantly.

The game v Hibs is our cup final this season. I know a draw is sufficient for a European spot, but to have a hope of second spot I feel we need a win, as the sheep will probably take something from the east end.
I know that Miller and Wallace are suspended by the club, but personally I would bring them back into the squad for this game.
I don't condone what they done, but watching some of our tactics in recent games must have been very frustrating for seasoned pros.
I would play 3 at the back [ Cardoso, Bates and Alves. ] with Tavernier and Wallace at wing back. I would bring in Miller for Morelos [ suspended. ]
The team will be chosen by Jimmy Nicholl, who is experienced enough to know what is required, and I am confident that he will pick a team that will play for the jersey and bring some pride back with a victory.

Candeias, Windass, Murphy;

Cummings

It is a shame about McCrorie, Morelos and Dorrans but Cummings should be hungry to score against his old team and Goss and Rossiter would give us a stable base in front of defence. Bring Windass back in from the start. Second place here we come!

JYF. Personally, I think Halliday might as well stay at left back for this last match. He isn't the greatest player but you can't fault him for lack of playing for the shirt and that will be needed against Hibs. At worse, all we need is a draw at Hibs to guarantee third place and European football. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the unwashed v the sheep match!

I never thought I would post these words but I thought Haliday came on to a game last nite after a shaky start. The guys still not good enough but I've been quick to criticize him in the past so it's only right I praise him when I think he's done well.

Stuz. did u actually watch the game? Halliday didn't get roasted. he didn't play badly at all. In fact, he played quite well. That's just a cheap shot at a guy who isn't the best player I have ever seen but is miles from the worst. He's an easy target. Get aff his back ya humf. slagging Rangers players should be like slagging somebodies mum. out of bounds.

Wallace and Miller? They're both suspended by the club and that means they're not training and it also means they're not match fit. Even if you doubt that obvious point, fact is they're suspended and the club will not play them. It's a good match for Cummings to play in and I'm sure Halliday at left back will play his heart out.
