From what I have heard is that McCausland is being given the preseason to show Derrek what he can do, as MacInnes rates McCausland as a gifted RW player.

Danilo should be heading out on loan soon to Brazil.
Souttar is discussing contract with both Leicester City and Sheffield United and once he has decided which one he wants to go to we will discuss a fee.


Cifuentes has a few teams interested in him but they don't want to match our price as we don't want to make a loss.

I've heard that he's been impressed by Lyall Cameron, who on paper looks about 11th choice. I wouldn't be adverse to keeping him as a squad player. Low wage, Scottish, and desperate to prove a point.

I could be wrong but didn't we turn to sign him when he left Arsenal but he chose Brighton? That was under the old regime, so why are we looking at him? He did well at Bolton in League 1, but we shouldn't be spending £5+ million on him imo. Better on him than Mavididi though.

Cerny is on €45k a week, so is that about 39k Sterling, about?

I don't think it's a worthwhile deal tbh.

Sadly, as I really wanted him. But that's not a good deal for a nearly 29 yo who would want a 4 year deal and would maybe go to 35k Sterling minimum, so for me, no.



That's £5.5m in wages over 4 year at 35k, plus the €8m fee, so you're talking in the region of £12-13m in cost for someone who, if we sold after year 3, would be nearly 33 and would be on 35k a week, so nobody would want him at that wage. We'd be stuck in a position of him leaving on a free at 34.

Hi, it's clear we need a few exits in the midfield area to get Dahl in. I think if we had managed to get Aasgaard off the books, as was earlier talked about during the World Cup, Dahl would have been his replacement.
Now that he's not had any concrete offers, it's possibly holding up more business.


Raskin going, and for the right cash, needs to happen soon before we miss the boat on some of these targets.
Not just the fees, but we need to get a good few off the wage bill, I'd imagine.

Dahl's agreed personal terms. For that to happen, his club must give permission, so that means they've accepted our offer, or they wouldn't let us speak to him about terms.

I think maybe the structure is being debated, but mostly agreed in principle, and likely hands shook.



Everyone involved is aware. When Dio Raskin or Barron move, then we will finalise Dahl.

It's just a waiting game; as far as I'm concerned it's a done deal.

We are not just going to pay overinflated prices or keep bringing players in while few have left.

I for one am delighted with our approach so far. I would far prefer we focus on a RW and CH as priorities and seek to improve squad as the window develops (ie, Dahl should Dio, Raskin or Aasgaard move on).



Just because scarfs are not above heads every other day, we need to understand lots of work to facilitate moves in and out are taking time. Not every player feels desperate to jump ship when there are still 6 weeks of window open and many teams unlikely to offer deals until their own pre/season starts.

We offered 70m of their money. Think they wanted 80 or something like that.

They want 8.5m euros.

The problem is, if he has a screamer on Thursday in Europe then again at weekend, his club could be in the right to put it up to 10m euros.



My opinion is, even if he was costing 15m euros I'd pay it.
