Tuur Rommens confirmed only a 3 year deal! Next please.

Agree4

14 Jan 2026 16:55:15
I've heard that he's injured and out for 3-4 weeks. Might be nonsense, but might explain why this signing took a wee while to be announced. I suppose we'll find out soon.

14 Jan 2026 16:57:51
His Transfermarkt page states that the club has the option to extend his contract for another year to 2030. I don't know if that's accurate but I figured it's worth mentioning.

14 Jan 2026 17:16:38
Is he injured?

14 Jan 2026 17:18:40
Correct BMT - out for 3 weeks or so - returning to training after injury!

14 Jan 2026 17:28:01
Franco 3.5 year deal.

14 Jan 2026 17:35:08
He had a minor knock and winter break in Belguim so needs 3-4 weeks to get up to full match fitness but he isn't currently injured.

14 Jan 2026 17:56:34
Managing his minutes according to the DR, after returning from injury.

14 Jan 2026 18:01:29
Aye troops seen he's had a minor knock. Cupla weeks before he's in contention. Nothing major. N nice one John. Even better.

14 Jan 2026 18:12:19
correct huey. just needs some tlc in the meantime. were in no rush as Meghoma does the job for now.

14 Jan 2026 21:44:34
He will play Friday he's fine. not injured.

14 Jan 2026 15:47:38
Total fee including loan fee should work out around 7.4 million pounds.

Agree10

14 Jan 2026 16:04:31
Spot on! Great info as always.

14 Jan 2026 16:13:15
Wow. that's actually a really good deal, especially knowing some of that has been paid and the rest for the purchase option.

14 Jan 2026 16:23:34
Seems like a good deal.

14 Jan 2026 16:25:43
Rommens signed.

14 Jan 2026 16:28:10
So €9m

If he's on 35k a week and it's a 4 year deal come summer then the whole deal would be in excess of €17m.

14 Jan 2026 16:36:12
Great info again Aphelion and a very shrewd bit of business by the club.

14 Jan 2026 16:55:58
Excellent.

14 Jan 2026 17:45:23
Do you work every signing like that Stevie? I thought we were discussing the transfer fee. That not the Celtic way to work out a transfer or frimpong 😂.

14 Jan 2026 22:52:09
Asa if that's true what a bargain

Really vant see it being that low though.

Maybe they are desperate to get him off wage bill.

15 Jan 2026 11:53:03
How many leaving? Looks like Rothwell and Dowell for starters. Plus a couple going on loan.

14 Jan 2026 15:43:30
I believe Andreas is now in the United Kingdom.

I believe the efficiency has been helped by Stig Inge Bjørnebye.

Very happy with how the club is conducting business and hope we can keep Stig long term.

Agree11

14 Jan 2026 16:14:38
If its 2 million now what's the price to buy?

14 Jan 2026 16:24:25
I hope he stays as well.

14 Jan 2026 16:29:10
He seems to be doing an outstanding job.

Impeccable i would say.

He just needs to get the outgoings moving g.

14 Jan 2026 16:33:16
Just bringing Stig on board, even if only for a short time to help out with this transfer window has been a shrewd piece of business in itself.

14 Jan 2026 16:48:33
Lithium I believe it is 2 million Euros loan fee.
7 million Euros purchase option.

14 Jan 2026 16:56:51
Yes keep the guy for sure.

14 Jan 2026 17:20:28
Let's see them play before deciding if he's doing an impeccable job. More than a few were excited with many of the summer signings and that's hardly worked out with many. Too many in a rush to heap praise too early. If either player has a slow start he'll be getting hounded 🤣

Early signings seem to be a level above … I'll wait till I see them perform consistently thou.

14 Jan 2026 17:33:12
L-Mac, And a good few of the summer signings are showing us why we bought them, patience is the key, but we know that will never happen at Rangers.

14 Jan 2026 17:37:12
Just hope he kicks off his Rangers career in style in his first few games, or the moaning will be happening on here, he could maybe take a few games to adjust, hopefully he doesn't.

14 Jan 2026 17:49:37
LMAC what does player performance have to do with what I have spoken about?

I have praised the way in which the club has conducted its business.

14 Jan 2026 18:06:04
L-Mac, there's levels to who we signed in the summer, compared to January. I'm basically talking about Skov Olsen. There's levels.

14 Jan 2026 19:08:16
ASA you're assuming I was responding to you I wasn't.

14 Jan 2026 19:12:43
Chasni we've had many good players who couldn't cut it here. I've stated they look to be a level above but I've saw NONE of them play on a consistent basis to have any accurate or informed opinion of them.

My Star I stated patience is needed last night. Cerny took time to settle they might also.

In regards to Stig doing an impeccable job? The jury is still out. It's way too early to judge him and anyone involved in player recruitment is judged on their signings and how they perform … so let's just give them time to settle and see how they get on.

14 Jan 2026 19:25:18
My Star all our signings in January might not produce their best form till next season after a pre season …

Whether we like it or not players coming from leagues abroad take a wee bit time to settle.

I'm not going to judge them until I've at least saw them given a consistent run of games and there is a sure sign of improvement week on week as they settle but as I've said it might be next season before we see their best.

And as I've said previously on paper they appear to be a level above and I agree with Asa our efficiency in bringing in players seems to have improved under Stig but he's not going to get judged on the efficiency of bringing them in is he? Anyone involved in recruitment will be judged on how these players perform.

14 Jan 2026 19:46:57
L-Mac only wish more fans where like you mate.

14 Jan 2026 19:49:27
I don't believe Stig is getting judged on player performance.

He is advising and consulting on the wider football department increasing efficiency and bringing better standards.

14 Jan 2026 20:15:50
He's had no say on any of the incomings then Asa but he's got them here more efficiently?

14 Jan 2026 20:44:34
That's not what I am saying LMAC.

I understand what supporters judgement will be and I ignore that.

I am talking about the business expectations of Stig which will not be sole judgement on player performance.

14 Jan 2026 21:42:21
So he has had a say on incomings. And he will be judged just like you and the rest of us judged Thelwell. Stig is not exempt. As I've said new signings need time.

14 Jan 2026 22:07:28
Of course new signings need time. Thelwell fell on Martin's sword amongst other things that were identified during an investigation.

Stigs remit is a consultant and advisor to Andrew Cavanagh.
He has been tasked with increasing standards and focus.
Making the business more efficient.

I praised that and through my knowledge of Stig I know he is an Elite operator who has brought his wealth of experience to Rangers.

15 Jan 2026 07:30:43
I'm well aware what his remit is it was largely publicised. I'm not in the camp of saying he's done "an impeccable" job thou like 1 did. And I'm not being harsh saying folk involved in player recruitment are judged on their signings. That's it.

15 Jan 2026 11:55:42
L-Mac best to leave it mate, brick wall.

14 Jan 2026 15:31:40
Spurs won't be recalling Mikey this month as he said he wants to see out the season until June when the deal ends. If spurs terminate and recall him now, they would owe Rangers quite a few quid. Mikey is here to play, win and lift the league trophy. Rommens will be announced tomorrow, Thursday, I believe as RB and Olson on Friday before Annan.

Agree4

14 Jan 2026 16:01:47
Who's RB?

14 Jan 2026 16:03:27
Rommens confirmed there by us.

14 Jan 2026 16:12:18
Rommens announced.

14 Jan 2026 16:37:28
Rommens already confirmed.

14 Jan 2026 18:12:29
Right-back?

14 Jan 2026 15:01:46
Rommens at training this morning, take it announced later today.

Agree4

14 Jan 2026 15:32:25
Brilliant news hopefully a double announcement.

14 Jan 2026 15:39:56
Any photo evidence.

14 Jan 2026 16:03:48
Official now.

14 Jan 2026 16:04:32
Just announced.

14 Jan 2026 14:19:57
Both Mundle and Dan Neil from Sunderland won't be joining, Sunderland won't sell Mundle this window and West Ham and FC Koln made enquiries about Dan Neil, unfortunate but we move onto the next targets.

Part of me thinks we were told no about Mundle and that's why we've moved onto Skov Olen and Redzic.

Agree3

14 Jan 2026 14:50:18
Mundle was merely an alternative.

We look to be succeeding on getting all our primary targets so we have not advanced further on the Sunderland alternatives.

14 Jan 2026 14:53:48
Opposite side of the pitch but thankful of the loss if that was the case…Neil would have been nice.

14 Jan 2026 14:54:26
Listening to Mystar it's no great loss on Mundle re injury record and would have been a loan and they all filled up. Shame about Neil but we'll get other good options.

14 Jan 2026 15:09:54
But why does that mean Neil won't come? He could stilll pick us, or have we not bid?

14 Jan 2026 15:21:24
A doubt mundle woulda been first pick over olsen mate. Unless they were lookn at it as being a cheaper primary target. Someone said he has persistent injuries so best steering clear anyways.

14 Jan 2026 15:38:01
Would not have been a loan if skov was our first choice as we now have the maximum 6 loans allowed

Im a bit concerned a striker is not on the agenda unless someone goes out the door.

14 Jan 2026 15:48:21
I don't think Rangers were serious re muddle.

14 Jan 2026 15:52:02
Kasier, Mundle is a good player mate, aye hamstrings is his problem but Sunderland aren't letting him leave now anyway, would love Niel signing, good technical ability but he's like a workhouse in the centre of the park, still hope we get him, said the other day will be many clubs interested in him.

14 Jan 2026 16:39:45
I don't think so either John. I can't get my head around why someone would prefer Mundle over Skov. Really strange.

14 Jan 2026 16:41:28
Neil is still a possibility, just because other teams have shown interest doesn't mean we are no longer interested. saw on here not too long ago that the lad was keen on a move to Rangers.

14 Jan 2026 17:07:55
Coldo and who was that?

14 Jan 2026 17:11:42
John, skov olsen is better than mundle my friend and undoubtedly was our no.1 right winger target 🤔no way was skov olsen an alternative to mundle no chance 🤔.

14 Jan 2026 17:32:43
Walter I'm told we never made any enquiry for mundle.

14 Jan 2026 17:59:58
Mundle would be better staying and getting minutes in the EPL, maybe a loan for more game time but he played 110 minutes against Everton, was surprised at that but must have been capable.

14 Jan 2026 18:38:52
Mundle has only played 171 minutes in the Premier League this year. That's not even 2 games in 6 months. Those figures would suggest that he is not fancied at that level and that he is unlikely to get much more minutes in the Premier League.

Maybe a move to a lower level club in the Championship would suit him better. Definitely not the stats that would attract our interest I think. Needs more games before taking a gamble on him.

14 Jan 2026 19:40:09
Only because of his injuries, clearly clueless on Mundle Coldo and that is no surprise for me, he played a few great games last season, scored a couple of crackers, seen when you no nothing about him say nothing, had a few hamstring injuries, he will get more minutes now, even with players returning from afcon.

14 Jan 2026 21:13:42
Still got space for a loan. Moore is exempt as he's under 21 and is club trained at Tottenham.

Meghoma is under 21 but isn't exempt as Brentford signed him from Southampton.

14 Jan 2026 13:41:00
Olson confirmed SSN.

Agree5

14 Jan 2026 14:23:27
Brilliant news and signing.

14 Jan 2026 14:29:39
I've had a look and nothing on ssn, hope your right and I've just missed it.

14 Jan 2026 15:14:03
The last update on it on ssn app is the 12th saying we are in talks.

14 Jan 2026 15:31:11
It's there, all agreed but still got a medical t get through.

14 Jan 2026 15:38:45
Well happy with this one wanted for a while just hope its good option for perm move if successful.

14 Jan 2026 15:39:59
Sky sports reported this morning the same as all of her outlets that the deal was agreed and Olsen was set for a medical. 100 percent last update wasn't the 12th.

14 Jan 2026 12:56:24
Tentative info Aaron's and Moore to be recalled,

Agree4

14 Jan 2026 13:04:21
Be disappointed for Moore he looks to be enjoying his football as for Aarons he's j7st not good enough to make a difference.

14 Jan 2026 13:04:50
Nah not Moore that would be a blow.

14 Jan 2026 13:05:14
if Moore does get recalled then that sucks 😔.

14 Jan 2026 13:06:53
Aaron's I wouldn't mind but Moore I'd like to stay, I'm guessing it's to get more loans in maybe?

14 Jan 2026 13:09:27
Moore being recalled would be a disaster.
He could definitely be in first team picture at spurs, especially with injuries and tel going on loan.

14 Jan 2026 13:15:32
Aaron's yes can't see spurs wanting to recall Moore and halt his development to sit on a bench and I can't see Moore wanting to do that either. But u never know.

14 Jan 2026 13:16:02
I thought we'd lose one or two loans this window however Moore wasn't one I would have hoped for

Was thinking more along the lines Aarons and Djiga 😩.

14 Jan 2026 13:16:09
Aaron's not bothered, I wonder if Moore being recalled is why the rumours of the Hungarian player haven't gone away even with the signing of skov olsen.

14 Jan 2026 13:18:24
John I suggested earlier in the week or even at weekend when skov Olsen broke that I thought it was to cover Moore being recalled.

ASO will be right he with Gassama moved to left.

Antman will back up skov and we maybe sign another left winger.

14 Jan 2026 13:19:42
In terms of Moore, that would be disappointing. Hopefully not.

14 Jan 2026 13:19:52
Be gutted to loose Moore think him and Olsen be class for us. Aaron's not so much but would need replacing.

14 Jan 2026 13:20:42
Moore would be a loss John, hopefully get a replacement in for him in the window if he does go back to spurs. Aaron's can go, boys not had the desired impact on the team.

14 Jan 2026 13:21:28
Moore would be a massive lose if true, Aarons can go anytime.

14 Jan 2026 13:22:13
Be a shame to lose Moore. Clearly has talent without showing it as much as I feel he could! Hopefully replaced by the Hungarian lad mentioned along with Olsen.

14 Jan 2026 13:23:26
Not overly bothered about Aarons but Moore would be a big loss. Hopefully they just leave him here where he'll get game time.

14 Jan 2026 13:24:53
Moore being recalled would be a shame, as I think he's started to show form. It would make sense RE: us looking at more wingers in this transfer window though - and he may well make Spurs better if he goes back!

14 Jan 2026 13:26:01
Would've liked to keep Moore, Aarons not so much.

14 Jan 2026 13:26:04
Could tie in to what I've been hearing John, another "high-end" attacker being signed.

14 Jan 2026 13:27:10
Sad news if Moore to go…but time to get replacement in.

14 Jan 2026 13:29:41
Did hear possibly Aarons, moire will be missed. On that note is that why we're targeting more wingers. I'd be keeping Curtis then.

14 Jan 2026 13:43:17
If Moore is recalled do we get compensation?

14 Jan 2026 13:47:06
If Aarons is recalled he will still need replaced, could we look at Paterson on loan potentially as a replacement? Got to be honest I like what Moore has been doing recently but can't see him playing regularly for Spurs in the EPL at the moment.

14 Jan 2026 13:48:54
He'll get a loss in general but not irreplacable, he was always someone else's player but I think we've developed him a little and shows us in a good light.

14 Jan 2026 13:51:25
IF Moore is recalled, then we should hopefully still be after the Hungarian winger.

Aarons would need replaced too, just because Sterling isn't reliable, which is a shame.

14 Jan 2026 13:55:49
I have it from the horses mouth, Moore has no idea about being recalled by Tottenham. So I'd assume this information is incorrect.

14 Jan 2026 14:02:26
Unpopular opinion

I do like Moore you can see his quality but I actually think he's a much better player when he's playing down the middle close to the striker than he is when he starts out wide so if we signed a winger in place of him then I wouldn't be too fussed.

14 Jan 2026 14:04:48
No truth whatsoever to Moore being recalled.

Both clubs delighted with the experience Moore is getting, and indeed, club would like to explore keeping him one more season if possible

Same goes for Aarons at this moment, albeit lack of games could see him head elsewhere at end of window.

14 Jan 2026 14:59:28
If Moore goes, I wonder if Antman will be pushed into the 10 with Gassama on the left and Olsen on the right.

14 Jan 2026 15:25:58
Moore's not going.

14 Jan 2026 15:33:18
Moore would see game time reduced following the signing of ASO sensible decision for Spurs to recall if they choose to do so. They will also need to pay us compensation.

14 Jan 2026 15:42:43
Unlike most i actually see this as good news clearing decks of loans with no loan term future at club in prep for potential future Rangers players on loan a striker creative mid right back or another left winger to compete with Gassama.

14 Jan 2026 17:09:38
micky Moore is going nowhere i am hearing not 100% waiting on confirmation the now but boy says he's 98% sure Moore is going nowhere as he won't play at spurs and he's loving it at Rangers.

14 Jan 2026 17:49:37
Stevie from Four lads just came out and said he's staying.

14 Jan 2026 17:53:07
Also been told Moore rumours are absolute nonsense.

14 Jan 2026 12:54:59
Olsen £2m loan fee agreed with option to buy for €9m in summer which is around £8m I think.
Due for a medical today, what a statement signing this is 🫶🏻.

Agree5

14 Jan 2026 13:24:11
Cheers Fifty.

Does anyone know if the purchase fee is in addition to the loan fee, or if the loan fee is essentially a down payment if we buy?

14 Jan 2026 13:30:43
Fifty I very much doubt we're paying 2m loan fee for 6m unless that's part of the fee if we but him.

14 Jan 2026 13:48:55
If its as described by 56, £2m is straight loan fee. Additional €9m or £8m will be a standalone purchase fee.

However, i can't see the figures being correct, the £10m total is around the same fee Wolfsburg paid for him (he's not met ANY additional add-on clauses to increase the value to what was reported in the region of £12m - £14m).

Would like to think it's more aligned with you're thinking, £2m up front, £6m to buy, £8mill total + add-ons.

14 Jan 2026 13:50:17
£2 million for 6 months loan seems a bit excessive especially if we are then paying another £8million in the summer. It brings the total deal to £10 million if he is successful which might not be too bad but if he isn't and we don't keep him we have spent a lot of money for nothing.

14 Jan 2026 14:14:36
£2m loan fee, similar to what we paid for Fabio Silva, then £6m optional fee in the summer.

14 Jan 2026 14:18:13
Fee not correct. I believe it is €2 million loan fee.
€7 million purchase option.

14 Jan 2026 14:27:57
The loan fee is just a deposit that you don't get back if you don't decide to keep him, it is part of the fee really otherwise.

14 Jan 2026 15:51:51
Season finish in four months, I suspect we will be signing him in summer with theses figures.
