True stormtroopers but they also didn't hesitate to sign and they are the two good cases out of ho many English we have signed. There have certainly been far more failures than successes and again as I said both of the players you mentioned were free contracts not 4million fee.

Regarding Dessers and if we sell him I think 6m is way too low imo considering he scored over 20 goals last season without free kicks or penalties. Would love to see that too WLTRWD but their players were younger so teams pay for potential, same as we did with Bassey. We've just not done it enough. They've built a reputation for themselves of being a team to develop and sell on which is what PC is trying to improve. That and we've all been critical of Dessers performances yet hope to make a huge profit on someone we overpaid for. We'll be doing well to break even on any of one's we paid for last year.

He went to Bordeaux on a free last year. Hasn't nailed down a starting place and while he's played in quite a few games, it looks like it's been a bit part coming on as a late sub mostly. Seen some twitter chat about Bordeaux making him available for c£1m and guess folk will put 2+2 together.
