Hi guys regarding Dessers there's split opinions personally i like the boy, grafts all the time has a great attitude despite some of the abuse thrown at him and to be fair he's playing up top on his own most of the time with underperforming teamates. Personally i'd like to see 2 up front no issues with Shankland if we get him i think Dessers, Shankland, Igamane and maybe one other wudnt be too bad for options up front to start off the new era.

Bathgate, most of the recruitment is in progress - i. e. players have been identified, contracts offered or negations are underway.
Even the likes of Dio, who has a lot of interest from France - replacements have been identified.

I have absolutely no idea who the manager will be but I would love it to be Knutson at Bodo.
He has won 4 of his last 5 titles, he's doing very well in Europe and he's great at developing players.
Apparently he has some strange contract that he gains significantly from player sales but it would be a great appointment.
The Scandinavian market tends to be decent as well and he will know it well.

It has been said on here regularly that the recruitment team identify the players required to play the style with some input with the manager. so we don't need a manager in place for that to continue happening. we need to have a system which doesn't require a rebuild every 12-18 months when we forget that the process takes longer to complete.

On the fence, knows the club and full international now and if fee and wages are low enough then I'd normally say why not, but with the emergence of Nsiala, along with Propper, Balogun, Fernandes and Souttar whenever he's due to return do we really need him, plus Sterling can fill in there as well as King, I think it's overkill in that area. A fortnight ago I would've said we needed two ch's but as mentioned Nsiala has stepped up and not looked out of place so I don't think it's wise for the board to sanction something we don't really need now.

This is agent driven rather than Rangers driven.
What I would say is, and its only my opinion.
He is a player that knows the club, knows the league and can handle the physicality.
Something Clement highlighted recently was our lack of height/ size at set pieces - Katic would certainly help address this.
At 28 years old he's in his prime, a full international for Bosnia and has played in European group competition in 2 of the last 3 seasons with Zurich. he's 3 years younger than Propper and 8 years younger than Balogun.
On paper, I don't think this is a bad option.
But just to be clear, the player and his agent want this move and there is no indication as of yet that the club are pursuing it.

I've been a big fan of Souttar since his Dundee Utd days. I think he's a very solid CB for the level we are at. Big injuries have held him back. Finally, this season we have seen the best of him. Playing on his favoured side certainly helps. He was becoming a leader we desired on the park.
I think people who doubted his ability, are now seeing how much of a solid defender he actually is. Since he's been injured we've conceded goals like never before this season. Looking forward to him returning at the start of February, because we've missed him.

I'd like to have both next season and hopefully cash in on souttar the following year.

Clement admitted back in December that he had no credit in the bank with the fans. The result in the old firm game and europa performances gave him some credit back but that result today should 'bankrupt' him in terms of any credit.
