No doubt in my mind that Rangers would have made Clarke aware of Jack's knee issue and even less doubt that his intention was to aggravate it by putting him through an 11k session so soon after a major match.
We cannot trust the Scotland set up with our players.

Ferintosh

1.) 12 Sep 2019 19:38:10
Ridiculous mate.

2.) 13 Sep 2019 07:01:53
I agree with Ferintosh that should be a lesson to any of players what the Scottish set up thinks of them clark especially the guy has not got a clue it’s embarrassing. They would only have booed him every time he touched the ball anyway which speaks for itself.

3.) 13 Sep 2019 13:27:52
Total paranoia, get a grip.

4.) 13 Sep 2019 13:57:22
Anyone disagreeing with my comments should acquaint themselves with the comments from SG aimed specifically at Clarke.

5.) 13 Sep 2019 14:31:20
Anything associated with the SFA is amateur hour, including coaching - i would be apprehensive about sending any of our players to work with a guy who doesn't even realise the damaging nature of astroturf. They knew his knee was sore and sent him out on that run, no club would be so unprofessional as to risk a player's fitness in this way, especially as they had no intention of giving him a game. I can understand why people might think they had done this on purpose, but it is also combined with them being absolute muppets at the SFA.

6.) 13 Sep 2019 15:01:27
I don't subscribe to conspiracies but l really have my doubts and concerns about Clarke. I really like RJ and I'm sure he wants to play for his country. Staff are there to protect players from themselves. Wonder how Forrest or McG wouldve been treated.

7.) 13 Sep 2019 17:13:07
No Scotland’s fault jack is made of ****in glass so wit he played 90 mins before it we are only 4 games into the season.

8.) 13 Sep 2019 17:35:40
SG did not say that Clark deliberately went out to aggravate RJ knee.

9.) 13 Sep 2019 19:27:03
Sometimes we embarrass our club by making ridiculous statements.

Rise above the nonsense and try to be discerning when coming up with theories.

10.) 13 Sep 2019 20:19:26
Ooooooooooh that will be us told then 👜.

11.) 14 Sep 2019 10:44:52
I think there is a slight exaggeration with the 11k running I would hope do anyway and surely if Steve Clarke knew this I would like to think that he would do what's best for the player (s)

12.) 14 Sep 2019 13:26:43
modern science says you don't do 11k runs 48 hrs after a big game. its potentially very damaging to the body. Doubly so if you carry a niggle.
My only concern re this is was Scotland told re the niggle? and who was supposed to tell them if they were not?

is this the reason for the Allen walk out?

just thinking out loud there.

13.) 14 Sep 2019 13:36:39
Lemon admitted Celtic physio is Scotland physio. No point in us playing for them.

14.) 14 Sep 2019 22:57:40
Struth your version of modern science is distorted. 48 hours rest? I have 24 hours rest a week and run 50-70 miles.

{Ed001's Note - are you preparing for a football match where you are expected to perform multiple sprints?}

Just read that Martinez was first choice for Villa but he turned them down. A nice wee slap in the face for SG if that's true. from his best pal (allegedly) .

Ferintosh

1.) 16 Nov 2021 12:51:52
My prediction is sg will get sacked at villa eventually and probably set his liverpool dream back by years.

2.) 16 Nov 2021 13:01:53
Agree davie villas a hard job, not sure what he can achieve with them there a mid table club with little chance of winning anything.

3.) 16 Nov 2021 13:17:20
Ferintosh i'd say Martinez was common knowledge. Reported in plenty English papers and sky.

4.) 16 Nov 2021 13:17:56
He defo, won't get 2 years to get it half right.

5.) 16 Nov 2021 13:56:12
Not sure how its slap in the face. if Martinez took job SG would not have had offer.

6.) 16 Nov 2021 14:21:22
It’s not a slap in the face but I don’t think he will last a season and a half at Villa just my opinion could be wrong.

7.) 16 Nov 2021 14:42:03
His first 7 games at villa he has 4 real tough ones. Doesn't hit the ground running will be a tough turnaround for him.

8.) 16 Nov 2021 15:05:32
He'll be found out for being tactically inept. Again.

9.) 16 Nov 2021 18:17:28
£5 million a year why Gerrard won't think that it's a slap in the face!

12 Nov 2021 18:40:09
Lampard has pulled out of the Norwich running. Anything in it regarding us I wonder?

Ferintosh

1.) 12 Nov 2021 19:34:07
Yes. Both gio and lamps are in running and will be talkin to ross wilson 2moro. Between the 2. Personally i want gvb.

2.) 12 Nov 2021 19:43:20
Agree paul however Lampard gave Gilmour his debut at Chelsea so maybe Patterson will get more game time under him?

3.) 12 Nov 2021 20:09:55
When we hear Alex Neil, Russell Martin and deeks, I’d be happy with either GVB or Lampard.

4.) 12 Nov 2021 21:42:32
Sparky he had no choice but to play youngsters as he couldn’t sign anyone for the 1st year.

5.) 12 Nov 2021 21:52:06
Very true storm. Continued to play Gilmour after transfee embargo was lifted tho. Gio is my preference as manager though mate.

6.) 12 Nov 2021 22:16:11
He did t play him every week tho he was in and out of the team.

7.) 12 Nov 2021 22:42:27
True storm, had embargo not bn on gilmour would be twiddling his thumbs somewhere in reserves n not even getting a mention of a Scotland cap. Turned a boy into a man that did. He rose to the occasion and stood up. No pressure on him as he knew no one else can come in. 💙.

11 Nov 2021 12:33:13
We haven't been at our best compared to last season so I'm seeing a change in management as a bonus. I would have liked Davis to move into the coaching staff but still play on whilst able. McGregor moving with him. All very sudden, or was it? Was Goldson aware?

Ferintosh

1.) 11 Nov 2021 12:53:23
Aye Gerrard told Goldson months ago that Villa would sack their manager in November and that he was getting the job. 😂😂😂.

2.) 11 Nov 2021 12:58:34
Pretty sure Goldson and the rest were aware Ferin mate, hence the poor performances start to the season.

Any way, we just have to get on with it now,

Cheers.

Spare a thought for those Celtic fans who have their 55th birthday this year.

Ferintosh

1.) 18 Mar 2021 09:54:11
When Jack plays there is another dimension to our midfield. So much stronger and he stops other teams breaking us down.
As for roofe when fit he's been awesome.

16 Jan 2021 16:35:15
As a great believer in succession planning should we be looking at our own Steven Davis as our future manager? He's respected on and off the pitch, has a wealth of experience, a born leader and is a Rangers man. Just a thought for maintaining the standards SG has attained for us with one eye on our future.

Ferintosh

1.) 16 Jan 2021 17:57:44
I'd be looking at Barry Ferguson as some sort of position if not manager. Similar type of person to Gerrard see how his apprenticeship turns out. But man's a winner stays away from bulls@#t and demands respect.

2.) 16 Jan 2021 18:20:19
I'll put my neck on the line and say barry ferguson will never manage us mate.

I'm positive there are quite a few on here who are well aware of what coaches do, which is dependent on the role they are employed for. You really shouldn't underestimate those who contribute to this forum and treat them with respect.

I've stated on here many times in the past that we shouldn't lose the experience and continuity that Davis and McGregor brings to the club. with Davis groomed to be a future manage given the respect he has throughout the football fraternity.

Davis alongside McGregor and Beale would do for me.

All over Twitter that SD are selling our strips. Not able to verify that but if true the answer is simple. Don't buy there. Some questions need answered though.

The takeover team is already there. Beale, Davis, Defoe and MacGregor. If Beale also goes then bring in an experienced manager alongside Davis.
